(Sorry if there is already a thread like this, I didn't want to get in trouble for bumping.) Alright, who here on-line dates, or goes out with people or whatever you call it these days? I want to know what you think of it. Because personally, and this might offend you, but I think it's pathetic. It shows a clear lack of social skills in the real world. It's an escape route offered to those that can't make it in real life. Plus, the "on-line" girlfriend is practically a figment of your imagination; you don't really know her, but your imagination creates the image you want. I'm sorry if this offended anyone that really does have an on-line girlfriend or boyfriend, but it's really not a good or healthy thing to do so. I'd like to hear what anyone else has to say on this topic.
I feel like you are someone who didn't really need to reply, but thought they would for an extra post ;). Jk... You seem to be nice, maybe hyper; your range of internet friends varies widely but you stick to an isolated group so you all know each other very well. In terms of popularity you seem to be coming along fine but there's something you can't figure out. Whether it's about you or others, you can't really say because you might not want to tell yourself the truth. Yes. That is what I feel about you. (Trying to make this post worthy of a +1 count.)
Diddy Kong, eh? I don't know if I'll ever use him unless it's to unlock more characters. He sounds a bit, well, like the idea for him was tossed into a hat and chosen out at random.
Well, I pity you, because you seem disliked by many of the members in the Spam Zone. And you pretty much (based on your avatar and signatures) look like a girl, not to mention you might sound like one in real life :P.
Right now I'd really like to go to Hawaii, for no reason I can see in particular. Well, it's mainly because I'm looking outside and see pouring rain and hear the occasional thunder bolt. That may be a slight influence but I've always wanted to go there. And my girlfriend is there right now. Alright, so there are many reasons...
Deathspank? Xaldin? ...this tummer73 kid? (Not serious on the last one.)
I can't believe I watched this... the lab really must have been boring that night. My thoughts: 1. Um... Fabulous? Why was this song put in the movie? Ashley Tisdale proves she can not sing and can not act at several points in this film. She also proves a clear point that the only role she can perform as in intolerable one. 2. Me and all my friends were laughing when Zach Efron did his little solo song. It was all dramatic, one second he'd be throwing sand on the beach and then next singing to a completely fake reflection of himself in the water. Not to mention, he'd be on the grass, hop, and then all of a sudden be on a large boulder. 3. They simply reused an old, boring Disney formula for this movie. And it needed more wet Vanessa. 4. It sucked.
You should really support SE though. You should tell them that. And the whole soundtrack can be found for download on various websites all over the web, it doesn't take much digging in to. I bought all the soundtracks myself.
I have a better way: 1. Buy soundtrack. 2. Open iTunes. 3. Put CD on iTunes. You can download the soundtrack from anywhere, then just import the folder into iTunes, you don't need Step Mania or anything.
People skills? Come on, it's a game. It detracts from social and people skills... Most of this is stretching it. Maybe it's educational for a 5 year old, but I wouldn't call it educational for all of us.
I noticed one of the staff members (I think Hissora) has a 1,000 KB GIF in their signature.
I think the only reason you all hate cartoons is because you have outgrown them, not because they suck. Kids these days will look back on the cartoons they're watching now in 10 years and say "God, that was awful, I can't stand cartoons!" Every following generation will do the same. You have all just outgrown cartoons and think they all suck except the ones you watched. Toddlers now will say the same when they are your age.
Alright, I was slightly confused there. I'd thought I had missed out on a very entertaining cutscene.
The worst thing for me is buying all my expensive, new textbooks. I don't mind the school but it's an economical drag.
Roxas sang? And I just loled at this whole thread.
Welcome to the forum. Don't read the rules. Don't post lots. And never have fun. But it's okay if you do.
I'm going to have to agree with libregkd here. Birth by Sleep was simply epic and mind blowing, a complete surprise. Deep Dive was almost better. It was much more dramatic, with the sweeping numbers and quotes. Another Side, Another Story on its own was awesome but after Deep Dive it was slightly overshadowed by its older brother. Sunset Horizons was just disappointing and boring.
You've really got to just ignore it. If you are hurt by stereotyping, then it means you believe in it. You shouldn't believe in it, it's just something people do and it shouldn't change your opinion of yourself in any way.
I'm going to be honest, it was good, but I think you need some criticism too... To me it felt really rigid and stale. It felt as if you were trying too hard, and lost style and a natural flow and feel to your writing. I can see what direction you're going in with the use of writing tools, but you portray them in an unnatural, solid feel that made me feel like I was reading it off a chalk board in a Freshmen History Class. I'm sorry if this was a bit harsh, I wasn't trying to be mean, but it really felt rigid and if you could find your own style and flow it'd be great :). PM me if you ever want proofreading or any help, or just general tips based on this little Prologue.
Yeah, I'm not trying to be mean or anything, just trying to give you some advice.
