The swine flu thing was serious, but at my school, also somewhat of a joke. This guy, Dominic, is Mexican, and he happened to cough, and everyone around him immediately moved away from him. That is ridiculous.
My cousin (5) has a neighbor named Lena (5). Lena has a flatscreen HDTV, a laptop, an iPhone, an iPod touch, and a regular phone all in her bedroom. WHO DOES SHE CALL??? Why does she need this??? It's ridiculous! And the other day, we were at McDonalds, and she came along. When she opened her happymeal thingy, she had a unicorn, or something, so naturally, she gets up out of her chair and literally does a Girl's Gone Wild stripper dance. She was swiveling her hips and dropping it like it was hot! What is the matter with America if a five-year old is doing this? Edit: I am so sorry! Yes, I did mourn Michael Jackson. Buuttttt, after the third day of MJ music videos, the five-hour movie on MTV (that is still playing), footage of some yuppie from E! staking out the compound, and even CNN holding a vigil, I was a little sick of it. The rest of the world had a couple specials, some news reports, but three days later, the news was actually telling news. America, however mourned for a month, whether we wanted to or not. "Who will get the kids? Who is the father/mother?" I mean, I was upset, but it was a little much. Yesterday, I read on AOL that they are suspecting that the kid from Home Alone is the father....o.O. It is sad that he died, but everyone dies and the press should leave the family alone.
