Name: Missy Lesterfall Known Alias: Banshee Alignment: OmegaTech Battalion: Lambda-C2 History: Banshee was admitted to the OmegaTech at age 12 before the Riot. But even then, the experience was cruel for her. She became a dislikable person, hardened by remarks of the past. After the Riot, she was assigned under Johnny Rocketfingers, leader of Lambda-C2. She's never told of her experiences in the past, but they still burden her, even to this day. Powers: Audiokinesis-Her mouth stretches into a cone-like speaker, out to about 12 centimeters with 8 canines. At a short-to-medium range, Banshee can produce sounds of up to 85 feet away, blasting foes out of her way. She can also bite foes if they're stupid enough to get too close. However, whats interesting is that at a long range, Banshee's calls actually attract Enhancermorphs, whether Artificial or Bred, making her a great asset to recruit any Enhancermorph 115 miles away.
Enhancermorphs (genre: advanced, original, action, romance | Rating: Mature | OOC Thread) (Based off Boy Wonder's Heroic Sanction Thread and Jaynabelle's Cupid's Brew) In 2027, Technology has advanced to the point where scientists can input special “enhancements” to the human body. These enhancements give the patient any set ability that the scientists induce. These so-called abilities range from simple telekinesis and morphing hands into biomechanical weapons, to the ability to manipulate time and space, and turning traumatic memories into monsters. The scientests and specialists working on these patients called them ‘Enhancermorphs’ because of how the human body changes to whatever ability is administered. The sad thing about these scientists was that they treated these special people like animals and lab rats, always testing, and without rest. One such scientist, Jeremy Calistarr, was sick and tired of these acts, and bargained with Patient #0001. He was the perfect patient to talk to, because he could manipulate matter. There was a large riot, with help of #0001 and Jeremy, as they and the Enhancermorphs took over the facility and cut it completely off from the rest of the world. 5 years later, Jeremy manages to reestablish the run-down facility as a utopia for any Enhancermorph willing to live among others like them, naming the facility OmegaTech. Here, scientists and Enhancermorphs alike work together willingly to shape the world, and make it a better place. However, the scientists first involved in the Enhancermorph project have reunited and created a group called the Ut Mali, a group specifically made to cleanse the Enhancermorph mistake that they did so many years ago. The only problem? They’re using other Enhancermorphs to do their dirty work. SUMMARY:You are a fellow Enhancermorph, either recruited by OmegaTech or the Ut Mali. If from Omegatech, you live in the facility that was made like a city, courtesy of Doctor Jeremy. If from the Ut Mali, you are led by Jonathan Sherman, and you are as worth as much as your average Mercenary or Hired Gun: In for the money, but expendable nonetheless. The OmegaTech’s job is to protect New York City from any Ut Mali followers, and/or save some of the Enhancermorphs. The Ut Mali’s job is to eliminate all the Enhancermorphs, including the ones they hired. As superhumans of the new age, you are treated like adults, and therefor responsible for your own actions. OOC THREAD LINK [DOUBLEPOST=1368825502][/DOUBLEPOST] DAY 1Darcy "Ultimachinox" Tullepio Location: Tullepio Residence Time: 12:34 PM Date: 5/17/2032 Mood: Excited/Nervous 1/7 Days "You remember to be a good boy now, alright?" Said Mrs. Tullepio to Darcy, handing him his luggage, she gave the boy a kiss on the cheek. "This is a great opportunity to work towards your life later on, and you cannot mess it up, understand me?" "Mom, I'll be fine. You know me. I never mess around. Besides, like you said, we get paid to work towards the work of Enhancermorphs, as well as protecting New York. Of course I'm not going to mess up!" Darcy replied. The 15 year-old was going to OmegaTech, a facility for people with special injected abilities on the outskirts of Staten Island. Darcy was actually one of the type of Enhancermorphs that were born with the abilites and not injected. It was rare, but not unheard of for an Enhancermorph to be born in a family that doesn't carry the genetic make-up. Some people were carriers during the Enhancermorph Purge, but that was beyond the point. As if on cue, a slick, white limousine with tinted black windows slid into the parking space of Darcy's home. "Well, that's your ride, sport," Said Mr. Tullepio, "You'd better get going." The father bent down and ruffled his son's hair before pulling him in a tight hug. "Be safe, and work towards your objectives. Don't let anyone put you down." Darcy left the embrace and walked toward the limo. Surprisingly, the door opened on it's own. There was no one inside. Darcy climbed in and the door shut by itself, startling Darcy. "Good afternoon, Darcy Tullepio." A computerized voice said. It sounded like it came from the front. Darcy scooted over to the front of the backseat, and opened the window. There was no one driving, But Darcy saw a large camera at the roof above the driver's seat. The camera turned on it's axis and looked towards Darcy. "My name is Madgecorp." The AI responded. Darcy was bewildered. People can make Androids, that have actual feelings and self-awareness, but Car/AI technology has been surpassed by this model by at least 7 years. "Cranium scanners suggest that you know that I am an outmoded model. No surprise, considering that your brain is buzzing at a high rate." The machine said, making Darcy immediately blush. The Camera turned back, looking out the windshield again, and the car began to move out of Darcy's driveway. "Not to worry, I won't do it again. It's a just a regular security scan. Once it's scans your biometrics, it'll define you friend from foe, and it'll never do that again. I do occasional scans, but nothing too major. We will be at the facility in at least 15 minutes, depending on traffic conditions. Fasten your seat belt, and enjoy the ride. Darcy closed the window and looked around. This model has to be at least ten years old, but it didn't look like it had a scratch on it. He rested his head on the seat and sighed. He wondered what might be in store for him. Elaine Vitrusio Location: OmegaTech Commons Plaza Time: 12:49 PM Mood: Neutral Elle sat at a table. She had been practicing Chess for the past hour, and seemed in no condition to stop. She could've played with someone else, but all the other Enhancermorphs, even the V13 Androids couldn't beat her, and the Androids had superior intellect compared to her. The thing about certain AI's is that they couldn't master on being street-smart, while Elle was a complete smart-ass. She moved her Ice Rook to counter the Bishop from taking her Ice King. One of the funny things about Elle was that she played Chess with her own game pieces. She wasn't exactly the "touching" person to talk to. But that's Elle for you. One of the Androids suddenly came up and said, "Ms. Vitrusio, you are called to the Briefing Room by Dr. Jeremy Callistarr. He informs that you come immediately, as we are getting a new edition to the city. "A new recruit, huh?" Elle thought as she stood, "Might as well. Maybe I could kick his butt in the Battle Hall. Another victory to my data log." Elle followed the Android, leaving the Chess game the way it was. Someone better had not touch the game, otherwise, this entire city will be in a deep freeze.

Spoiler: Accepted to OmegaTech Username: Mindstorm787 Designation: OmegaTechCharacter Name: Darcy "Ultimachinox" TullepioAge: 15Physical Appearance: HerePowers and Abilities: Technokinesis. Basically, he can turn any piece of metal into a weapon, which is powered by his own bodily electric impulses, done by his Nervous System. What weapons or tools he could make can vary. His "builds" can only withstand so much impact though.Short Biography: Darcy was born in a good family who loved him very much. But at age 12, he soon discovered how to maipulate metal into weaponry. Fearing that their own son might be jailed for something that he was born with, Mr. and Mrs. Tullepio jumped at the opportunity when Dr. Callistarr visted their home on stormy night, and offered a position for the Tullepio's son at the doctor's facility. Day 1 is Darcy's first day there, and will probably spend the rest of his life at the facility.Enhancemorph Type: BornUsername: Mindstorm787 Designation: OmegaTech Character Name: Elaine Vitrusio Age: 14 Physical Appearance: Here Powers and Abilities: Power over ice. Can freeze just about anything as long as there's moisture in the air that can be manipulated. Uses a small board to "Ice Surf" for transportation. Short Biography: Cute, cold, and calculating, she was brought into the facility at age 5, and has been tested on ever since. She developed a coldness for any scientists, particularly Dr. Callistarr. She fought in the Riot of the Enhancermorphs, but never properly introduced herself to the others in the new OmegaTech Facility. Enhancemorph Type: Artificial Username: Cloud<3 Designation: (Must be either “Ut Mali” or “OmegaTech”) Omega Tech Character Name: Rachael Age:15 Appearance: here Powers and Abilities: she is able to read minds and levitate stuff. (basically telekinesis) Short Biography: Rachael ended up at the labs at age nine. She stayed their for a year, and gained her her powers. She didn't have much time to learn or perfect her powers before the take over. For the most part she stayed back and didn't take part, being 10 at the time she was more scared and unsure then anything else. Now 15 living in the city built by OmegaTech. She spends most of her free time trying to prefect her powers. After the take over she spent three years trying to forget she even had that but it wasn't so easy. She decided to embrace them instead. She wished to help other people but still slightly unsure of what she is doing or how to properly control her powers she tends to try to tag along with others and help them while learning her powers. Enhancemorph Type: (Choose either “Born” or “Artificial”) Artificial Username: jackdaniel0 Designation: omegatech Character Name: Poke Age: 15 Physical Appearance:Waist-up. From the waist down, he wars dark-blue jeans and black-white shoes. Powers and Abilities: Poke has had himself turned in to pretty much a superhuman. He's got super strength, super endurance, that kind of stuff. He's also been injected with a a special substance(let's call it ki, like the one from DBZ, since they have similar, if not then the same concept)gained from being tested on. He can use this ki to form many different objects(such as a shield, or explosive spheres) and he can also use it to manipulate many kinds of elements. Short Biography: He was an orphan that had been forced away from the orphanage after agents came by to take some to-be test subjects at age 5. The real tests began when he was age 10, and ohohoh MAN, you would not BELIEVE how many times poor Poke's been tested on! About, what, fifty has been tested with the same stuff on him, and they all died, so what, he'd be the first in 50 to survive the test that became known as the "Polymorphic Mythical Kenosis Experiment", which is also the origin of the name he would make for himself after the war, Poke. Get it? Poke, P.O.K.E? So anyway, after being the first to survive, he'd be tested on for nearly 5 times a day, for nearly a year before the battle began. He was close to the front lines, being one of the strongest experiments at the time. After the battle, Poke would then chill out at the newly made city, and he'd help anyone that needed it as he did. But then... He learned something pretty disturbing. Deciding to find out more about the P.O.K.E to further hone his abilities, he visited the morgue where the dead test subjects were. He found that they were all adults, and then read from files that the brain of a child has limitless amounts of potential, which is why he survived. The mind was a very important part of surviving ki, and since his imagination was 'larger' than the other subjects, he would live to tell the tale. After his reading, the bodies started twitching. Creepy, eh? Well, dark stuff started to come out of their mouths, and through the glass that they were sealed in. They all joined together, and formed a shapeless gas-like blob. It fired multiple beams at Poke, who dodged them all, then he fired his own. The blob absorbed it, and it started to shape itself until it looked exactly like Poke. The only difference was it's color. It's entire body was pitch-black, and it had a strange purple glowing aura. It's eyes were different too. It escaped the facility, and after more research, Poke learned that the blob was a 'darkness' that was the result of all the negative emotions that the dead subjects had experienced at their last moments. He also learned that it would be dangerous for a P.O.K.E survivor to come in contact with the blob if it ever took form, because if it did, then one would run the risk of being absorbed by the other. What happens then? No one knows...So he escaped the lab, and went back to his daily life, keeping an eye out, just incase... Enhancemorph Type: Artificial Username: Master of Keyblades Designation: OmegaTech Character Name: Allen Age: 16 Physical Appearance: X Powers and Abilities: Pyromancy, With the aid of his special fighting gloves Allen can manipulate fire in any way he sees fit. Ranging from projectile blast, temporary boosters, or just to help his physical attacks. Short Biography: Allen was always the odd man out. He never really fit in with a group no matter how hard he tried, everything always seemed to blow up in his face one way or another. Eventually he tried running away from his problem, which only led to new ones finding him. Since getting into fights was almost a bad hobby for him all it took was one small thing for him to get in a lot of trouble. Probably if it wasn't for his powers being discovered during the incident, he wouldn't have walked away from it the way he did. Soon enough he found the facility built by Omega Tech and he begun staying there, though it only gave him a safe haven from his old problems, not a way to solve them. Enhancemorph Type: Born Username: lord-insan-E-O Designation: OmegaTech Character Name: Ryder 'Muscle' Sanders Age: 17 Physical Appearance: He's about 5'2 when not 'amped' when 'amped' he can grow up to 8'1. Has a sort of a dirty blonde hair color and keeps it cut short and his eyes are a misty grey color, but are pure green when 'amped'. He has a very thin beard that's just coming in. He wears a gray sleeveless shirt and blue jeans and a pair of brown work boots that expands to fit him when he amps. Powers and Abilities: Ryder can increase his muscle mass, which he calls 'amping'. Which means he can increase his strength and durability. When amped he can lift a few tons. But it does have a down side, if he stays amped for more than two hours he could die due to the strain on his body. Short Biography: Ryder grew up with a good family and had the whole 'white picket fence' childhood. His ability manifested when he was 11, and his parents tried to help him control his new power and keep it under wraps for about a year. But with his powers growing more and more they posed a danger to himself and others. It became apparent that they needed experts. So they sent him to the scientists when he was 12, about a month before the riot. Since he spent less time in the facility then some of the other Enhancermorphs he's a little less mentally and emotionally damaged by the experiments. With the city built, he adjusted quickly to his new surroundings by helping a lot of the younger Enhancermorphs get settled into the new environment. His strength also came in handy with the construction of the new utopia. Now a days he's still protective of the other Enhancemorphs and doing anything to keep them safe acting kind of like a den mother but a dude. Most of the time when interacting with a adult he tries to come off as serious, more grew up, but when talking to someone younger or around his age he lets his hair down and acts a little more like a normal teen. Enhancemorph Type:Born Username: Skyheart Designation: (Must be either “Ut Mali” or “OmegaTech”) OmeagaTech Character Name: Richard "Luminere" Carver Age: 17 Physical Appearance: http://darkness-ceederleaf.webs.com/shadow.jpg Powers and Abilities: Photokinesis, can alter and amp light. Short Biography: Richard never had an easy life growing up. His parents, if you could even call them that, were always bickering at each other and shoving all of their problems onto him. As such he ended up keeping to himself a lot and didn't really develop any bonds with anyone else, because if he couldn't even like his parents, who could he really? One day, though, while he was 8 years old he was to be tested upon by a group of scientists. His parents were informed that if they gave him up to them, they'd be paid ... and they agreed. Obviously, the scientists didn't hold up to their end of the deal and made his parents "disappear." Personally while he didn't seem to be affected by the situation, he was actually a bit happy to be finally rid of those awful people. However he didn't like his new "living arrangements" any better. Designed to be a man of stealth and illusions he was tested on numerous times until he was finally found to be perfect for their photokinesis development. As the testing continued he started to block the world out more and more, until he learned to just deal with it. Then one day the riots began, and while he didn't really care about the testing, he still wanted to move on with his life all the faster. As such, due to his photokinesis, he easily escaped in the chaos of the riots and stood back and watched them from a distance. When the new utopian city was developed he certainly wasn't in a rush to go to them, but nonetheless it beat living on the streets. Enhancemorph Type: Artificial Username: Sessamaru Designation: OmegaTech Character Name: Jace, Experiment #C4T4-C1Y5M Age: 18 Physical Appearance: http://enkemeniel.files.wordpress.com/2008/04/eyes.jpg Wears blue jeans, boots, and a strange collar (read bio). Powers and Abilities: Electromagnetism- The generation and manipulation of an electromagnetic field as well as magnetic materials (i.e. iron, and other metals with magnetic properties); and the ability to manipulate/generate electricity (i.e. lightning). Short Biography:Jace was born from a test tube as an experiment of the Enhancermorphs Program; in particular, breeding supersoldiers through gene manipulation upon fertilization/conception. However, he didn't turn out quite the way they expected. He was sickly and pale, thought to be a failure. However, after a few days of observation, the sickly child emitted a much stronger electromagnetic field than that of any human. A few days after that revelation, Jace appeared to be healthier; though the tech he was exposed to malfunctioned due to the random fluxes of his unique electromagnetic field. Further research of the child was thus continued through observation and at a distance. As he grew older, the electromagnetic field was forcibly maintained by a plastic room as to not disturb the foundations of further research over the other test subjects. Jace was constantly isolated and restrained. Scientists managed to find alternate means of taking tests, creating a collar that absorbed and controlled his own electromagnetic field. He would often be moved from room to room, either to take tests or be tested on. They taught him control, and they abused him mentally and emotionally; both of which caused a reaction from his EMF. Eventually, he was locked away after being dubbed a potential disaster, afraid of the consequences of the boy's electromagnetic field, his ability to use it, and the long-term effects of its continuing growth. However, there was a revolt, and the victors who took over the facility found him in a plastic room. Jace accepted the offer to be a part of OmegaTech. For the safety of those around him, he continues to wear the collar that keeps his own Electromagnetic Field under control. Enhancemorph Type: Artificial/Born Username: Sessamaru Designation: OmegaTech Character Name: Lone Age: 21 Physical Appearance: Lone is a tall (6'2"), well-built man with black spikey hair and blue eyes. He normally just wears a leather jacket (his torso bare), blue jeans, and combat boots. Around his neck is a Celtic cross with a small red gem in the center. Powers and Abilities: Accelerated Healing Factor- Due to his healing factor acting swiftly, he is unable to tire due to the acidic deposits in the joints never forming. He has the strength of a body builder, despite his more healthier size/muscular weight, and can run faster than an Olympic runner (but not fast enough to be considered super speed). Unfortunately, this accelerated healing factor also resulted in accelerated metabolism, forcing him to consume three-times as much food a day than the average human. Also, he is unable to regrow missing/fully-destroyed body parts. Interestingly, his ability to age has slowed considerably, if not stopped altogether. Short Biography: Lone remembers nothing from his past. He awoke in a lab, where they had analyzed his "recovery", as they called it. During his time in the lab, he was suscepted to many experiments; mostly social interaction and life-endangering exercises. During social interaction with other enhancermorphs, he would, more-often-than-not, distance them and keep away. There were some moments where he showed great irritability, always on the edge, and violent. In the life-endangering exercises, he showed great resilience and stamina. He was often prone to accidents during these studies, which all accumulated to him breaking enough bones for at least five other human bodies. Due to breaking his bones often, sometimes crushed, he came back stronger and stronger; like many practitioners of martial arts, bones are often broken to condition them... and Lone was no different in the sense that his body conditioned and adapted to the damages. Once the riot began, Lone partook and assisted in the anarchy (mostly for revenge for the many, many experimental exercises). He is now a part of Theta-D1. Enhancemorph Type: Born Username: Dr_Wigglz Designation: OmegaTech Character Name: Stephen Castra Age: 15 Physical Appearance: Shoulder length jet black hair that is usually tied in a pony tail. Pale white skin. Brown eyes. Usually wears a black suit, and has a long green sheath strapped to his back which contains a Nodachi (japanese sword). Powers and Abilities: Extremely skilled in the use of a Nodachi (long japanese sword). Telepathy. Short Biography: Stephen Castra has always been a genius. His parents always pushing him to become better, his naturally strategic mind often helped him gain the advantage on people in everyday situations, his favourite game being chess. After hearing of OmegaTech, Stephen volunteered himself to improve his character, wishing only for peace in the world, and believing himself to have the capabilities to achieve it. Enhancemorph Type: Born Username: Sessamaru Designation: OmegaTech Character Name: Maverick "Red" Tombs Age: 16 Physical Appearance: O Powers and Abilities: Pyrokinesis- the ability to generate and manipulate fire. Red can also absorb fire and heat, providing him with a resistance and a temporary increase in elemental strength. Short Biography: Red was raised by the very scientists who gave him his power. It was rumored that he was a sickly child, born to one of the professors, and in order to save his life, he must be injected with the enhancermorph gene. It worked well, as a child, but his ability was latent until the age of four, where he touched a stove. It did not burn him. After realizing that Red had a gift and affinity towards fire, he was immediately inducted into experimentation. He was tested on frequently, even as far as emotional levels to see the extent of his power. Afterwords, he joined in the riot against the scientists with Professor Jeremy Calistarr and Patient #0001. He currently resides within the confines of OmegaTech as a part of Sigma-B4. Enhancemorph Type:Artificial Username: lord-insan-E-O Designation:OmegaTech Character Name: Able 'Porter' Sanchez Age: 16 Physical Appearance: He is hispanic, about 5'1 and with a wiry build. He has a drak brown frohawk. Powers and Abilities: Teleportation. He disappears in a yellow mist. His range is about five milies. For the most part he has control of his powers but sometimes he teleports uncontrolably when he is in danger. When teleporting he still gains the momentum of running over to his destination. He can take up to four others on a trip, but they must be touching him. He is also very acrobatic. Short Biography: Able had what most would call a pretty crappy childhood. He grew up in a orphanage where everyday he got beaten by the caretakers or other kids and he still has scars of. Then he was sold off to the scientists and was there for quite awhile until the break out. After the riot he finally felt wanted. He is surprisingly chill given what he's been through. He is always in a good mood and is rarely mad. He prefers to solve things peacefully without violence. But when push comes to shove he knows how to handle himself. Enhancemorph Type: Artifical. Username: lord-insan-E-O Designation: OmegaTech Character Name: Cindy 'Lotus Eater' Samson Age: 15 Physical Appearance: She is short and very petite looking. She has bright purple hair that she has dyed. Powers and Abilities: Hallucination manipulation. She releases gases from her hands which cause hallucinations. The hallucination is good or bad depending on which hand she uses, right for good and left for bad. She has no control over what her victim sees. The effect only last ten minutes but to the person under it's more like ten hours. Short Biography: She had a fairly good childhood until her powers manifested. When they first showed up she was in school, she put the whole school under. Her parents scared contacted OmegaTech and she's been there ever since. She is outgoing, short tempered, and her mouth is almost allways moving. Enhancemorph Type: Born Spoiler: Accepted into the Ut Mali Username: Mindstorm787 Designation: Ut Mali Character Name: Jax Maloubourne Age: 16 Physical Appearance: Waist Up, from waist down, wears skinny jeans. Powers and Abilities: Has the ability to manipulate memories, and turn them into real-life abomination, specifically, the ones who had that memory. He also can control shadows, mainly used to avoid detection, trapping and blinding. Short Biography: Was called by the scientists, "The Unloved One". The scientists made a mistake by injecting him at a young age, and usually couldn't control his powers. Nobody wanted to test or take care of him. They left him in a cell at least 4 feet thick of solid steel. Eventually, he managed to control his powers and miraculously escape the cell. He was found by the Ut Mali, and they in turn, they would pay him to destroy the one thing that he hated most: Every single human being. Enhancemorph Type: Artificial Username: jackdaniel0 Designation: Ut Mali Character Name: Dark Age: Uhh...Well, ever since the first test subjects death, he'd be 20. Physical Appearance: He looks the exact same as Poke, except he's pitch black, has a creepy purple glowing aura, and his eyes look like this(ignore the eyebrows and background) Short Biography: Right, he was born from scientists injecting the 'ki' thing in to a 30 year old test subject. With so much negative emotions, they all got absorbed by the ki and made it all evil. Then the body would get locked in a glass container in a morgue. 49 more subjects would suffer the same fate, then Poke came by. Realizing that his 'brother' was close by, he formed in to a gas that would then fire beams at him. Fortunately for the gas, Poke fired a beam of his own, which he absorbed, gaining all of his knowledge, and his silhouette, too. He'd escape, and with the knowledge he gained listening to scientists while inside the dead bodies, he'd give himself the name 'Dark'. He found the Ut Mali, and wished to 'help' them. His true intention was to absorb Poke, and then destroy the entire world. All because he couldn't be a true person, so if he couldn't live like one, then he wanted no one to. During training, he accidentally got too in to it, and his emotions got the better of him. After releasing a lot of energy, his body split. Now there was not two, not three, but over four Dark's that each donned their own name. Not very cool living with his new 'brothers'. In fact, they tend to annoy him, but they can be useful, and they're just as powerful as the original Dark, if not then just a bit weaker. Enhancemorph Type: Born Username: jackdaniel0 Designation: Ut Mali Character Name: Fury Age: A month. Physical Appearance: Looks the exact same as Dark. Short Biography: This part of Dark is all about rage and anger. He's quickly rised through the ranks and is known as a tank for the Ut Mali. His power increases when his rage increases. Enhancemorph Type: Born Username: jackdaniel0 Designation: Ut Mali Character Name: Blast Age: A month. Physical Appearance: Looks the exact same as Dark. Short Biography: This Dark was born from the sadistic-ism. He absolutely loves fun. He gets too in to his missions, sometimes, and then things can turn pretty ugly. He's good for taking out a group of people. His power increases when he starts to have lots of fun/starts laughing a lot. Enhancemorph Type: Born Username: jackdaniel0 Designation: Ut Mali Character Name: Jack Age: A month. Physical Appearance: Looks the exact same as Dark. Short Biography: Yeah, there's a bit of a joke behind that name. Take your time, you'll figure it out. Jack's the jerk of the Dark's, and when I mean jerk, I mean x10 Flash Thompson jerk. He knows how to get under your skin, and he's surprisingly pretty good with tactics. His power increases by how much grief he causes. Enhancemorph Type: Born Username: lord-insan-E-O Designation: Ut Mali Character Name: Malcolm 'Plus' Johnson Age: 17 Physical Appearance: Tall, muscular and fairly handsome. He has shoulder length black hair. Power and Abilities: Duplication. He can create perfect copies of himself and inanimate objects. He can't duplicate anything that is or was once living, so he can't duplicate food or anything made of wood. The copies act on a hive mind so they follow the originals orders through a sort telepathic connection. Short Biography: Malcolm was born in a orphan. He never knew what happened to his parents nor does he care. He was picked up by the scientist when he was young and well you know the rest. He never held any ill will to them, they made him powerful. He's an avid believer of survival of the fittest, believing that anyone weak enough to be taken advantage of should be. He was at OmegaTech for a little while after the riot but didn't stay for long. Now he works with Ut Mali, mostly due to them fitting his ideology. Enhancermorph type: Artificial Username: Sessamaru Designation: Ut Mali Character Name: Reaper (formerly Slade Lovecraft) Age: 25 Physical Appearance: Reaper appears to be a tall, serpentine entity with fungi-like skin the color of midnight. His head is slightly elongated, with tentacles as a substitute for hair. He has a long, tail, covered with spines. Speaking of spines, his is protruding from his back. His eyes are pure white, missing the iris and pupil, and lightning-shaped, his face flat and snake-like. He has elongated fangs, limbs, and claws. His tongue is long, thick, and drips with acidic saliva. He hunches, but is still taller than most. Powers and Abilities: Reaper's altered appearance provides him with many powers and abilities, the most obvious one being his acidic saliva. His other ability is to use his tail and tentacles as weapons (the tentacles being able to move on their own). He's quite flexible and agile, such to the point of being cat-like. He's able to use his claws on both hands and feet for scaling on walls and ceilings, as well as performing horrendous damage. His fungi-like skin also has a resistance to acids and he is not susceptible to poisons. Finally, he has dark vision, which allows him to hunt unhindered during the night; during the day, a light film covers his eyes, allowing him to hunt by day without being hindered by light. Short Biography: Slade was a convict, imprisoned due to his life as a murderer, rapist, and cannibal. After many testimonies, Slade was guilty, but evidently insane. He was to spend his life in a mental ward. However, scientists removed him from the asylum to their lab, wherein he was a part of the Enhancermorph project. As a result, he changed from man to a thing of pure nightmare. After conducting a couple of tests, he was locked away. However, soon after, a riot broke out in the complex. Seeing this as an opportunity to escape, Slade broke out and fled. Slade spent his new, free-life killing many people. These heinous acts puzzled officers, and Reaper enjoyed it thoroughly. After a while of playing cat-and-mouse, Slade changed his name to Reaper, and joined a mercenary group, thinking that he could have more fun in hunting down people "like" him. Enhancemorph Type: Artificial Username: Sessamaru Designation: Ut Mali Character Name: Ulrich "Nihil" Nietzsche Age: 24 Physical Appearance: O (But with green eyes, wearing a black leather trench coat) Powers and Abilities: Rejection- a reality-warping ability that is more of a field around his own body. This ability is manipulated by his own mind and beliefs, allowing him to reject the reality of those outside of his own field; all that enters his field are susceptible to his influence. He also has the ability to open rifts in the fabric of spacetime, allowing him to walk into another part of the world (so long as he knows where it is, specifically). He also has a genius intellect, with enough cynicism to keep it sharper. Short Biography: Ulrich was born into a wealthy family in New York, living in a nice Neo-Gothic mansion. As a child, he and his younger brother were often neglected by their workaholic parents, left in the services of the servants. Both Ulrich and his younger brother exhibited the Enhancermorph genes, noted by the butler and nanny (who were having a love affair). Ulrich would often make things around him float, or would levitate, by rejecting the reality around him during his moments of daydreaming. Because of this, he was ostracized by his family and his servants; his younger brother's powers were more subtle and nearly unnoticeable. By the age of 9, Ulrich, in his loneliness, killed his parents and servants solely by touching them, truly believing that if he were nothing, then everyone else around him were nothing. However, he could not kill his own brother, feeling as though the 6 year old was the only one to accept him, causing his ability to falter and fail. Afterwards, him and his brother were in an orphanage, where Ulrich began to develop control over his power. Though he was normal, most of the people around him rejected him; his brother, however, was well liked and loved. In his renewed grief, he went about his studies. He was bullied, people took advantage of him, and he never pushed back. At the age of 17, a day before his birthday, a terrible accident had happened to his brother. Ulrich's brother had been shot in a drive-by and was taken to the hospital. By the time Ulrich made it to the hospital, he was told that his brother was taken away upon government orders. In his rage, Ulrich burned down the orphanage and vanished without a trace. After living on the streets, Ulrich was eventually found by the Ut Mali, wishing to use his abilities to eradicated the enhancermorphs. Find the irony mildly intriguing, he partook solely out of boredom. They had generously donated to him a suit and a place to stay (per request). He officially goes by the name "Nihil". Enhancemorph Type: Born Username: Sessamaru Designation: Ut Mali Character Name: Cassandra Malhoune Age: 19 Physical Appearance: O Powers and Abilities: Kinesis- Cassandra can absorb and manipulate kinetic energy, as well as convert kinetic energy into potential energy. She's also able to transfer the stored kinetic energy to a place, object, or person (which can cause absolute destruction), from a range or close distance (which magnifies the damage). She also has a high intelligence. Short Biography: Cassandra was born into a poor family. She lived a normal life, went to school, and did whatever normal children did. However, when the Enhancermorph project began, she volunteered for it, to help with her family's financial crises. During her stay, she developed her powers. At first, she was afraid that she wouldn't be able to handle the power, of constantly absorbing the kinetic energy that her very own body performed! She felt as though she was to explode at any moment. However, her will to live proved to be greater, and through the build up she found a conduit... transferring the energy elsewhere. This caused great havoc, causing her to be locked away. Only here and her power existed in that little cell, and she learned how to deal with the ability, of how to keep it from storing without destroying anything. Months of practice taught her that all she had to do was transfer tiny bits of the energy into the ground as she walked. She also realized why she hadn't been exploding when she slept, and it was due to her subconscious releasing the energy through her breathing for the sake of self-preservation. Ultimately, during the uprising, she fled with the scientists, still believing that she owed her life to them for the sake of her parents. However, her time with them had made her cold, calculating, and adaptive. After the escape, she became a member of the Ut Mali. Enhancemorph Type:Artificial MORNING CYCLE:This RP thread functions on a day/night cycle. Every morning, (for OmegaTech) your OC character(s) chooses one class of their choosing, and they can stay for as long as 3 posts, but it is mandatory for them to go. They can choose one of the following: Biology and ChemistryMath and Real Life SkillsCombat TrainingStealth OpsHistory But for the Ut Mali, there choices are limited, due to the base that they hang out at: Combat TrainingWeapon StorageStrategy With that being said, your character must learn something from that class, and it must be helpful to you during a mission you partake if you choose to take a mission from Dr. Callistarr in the Afternoon Cycle. As for Ut Mali, they are able to do as they please, day or night. AFTERNOON CYCLE: In the Afternoon and the Nighttime, your character(s) can roam in the OmegaTech Facility, ranging from plain hanging about your room to fighting in the Battle Hall. You can also choose to take a mission from Dr. Callistarr. For the Ut Mali, you have the option to relax within the Ut Mali HQ, or cause havoc at the nearby city of Tenebris Cove. Battalions (OmegaTech)Each battalion will act like a family and a team, with their own strengths and weaknesses. This story somewhat relates to my character Etrius, from KH:SOS. I orginally wanted to create a character that keeps coming back through in different time frames, as a different person. However, this as dark a I can make Etrius. In this era of space and time, this version of Etrius, is completely broken. He functions on his own accord, and his Keyblade remains the same. Corruption has completely eaten away at his body and mind. His entire will is corrosive. He used to be able to control Pureblood Heartless, but now he controls a new kind of creature, born directly from corruption, and built completly of Etrius's own design. Chapter 1-Annoying, much? Athena Kaspirteez awoke, completely annoyed. It was one of those days where she didn't know what had annoyed her the most, the fact that she hadn't been procrastinating for the Mark of Mastery at Master Yen Sid's tower, or the fact that she hadn't had a taste of real action ever since she joined the Keyblade Guard, a section in Radiant Garden Security that protected the keyhole that protected the entire world. She hobbled off her bed and into the shower. She turned the knob, as she let the warm water flow on her skin. She held up one of her fingers, causing one of the water droplets to stop in midair. Aside of getting the power of Keyblade, she was a very gifted mage at the age of 10. Adding to that, she combined magic and brawn together, making her known by other people in the entire town. By age 13 she had been given the power of the Keyblade by Master Sora, and placed under the Keyblade Guard. And now, age 15 she was about to become a Keyblade Master. But was it all as cracked up to be? She had barely broken up any major quarrels, and she barely got any taste of battle action, mainly being told to watch the town. Athena let the water drop again and turned off the shower. She got out and wrapped herself in a towel. Anything, if anything, she hated being told down. She looked in her mirror and sighed, tossing a few of her short purple hairs backward. For her age, she looked like she was 18. Peach cheeks, full lips, pale green eyes, a cute button nose, well-rounded hips, and slender arms and waist and of medium hieght of "5'4". She had had a lot of suiters who tried but failed to meet her interest levels, the last suiter ended up getting his butt kicked by yours truly for trying to make out on the first date. All kidding aside, she was pretty lonely. She had a pretty hard heart, Athena. She was strategic, as her name suggests, and she was formidable, and gifted, but completely lonely. She shook her head and got dressed in her her dark grey uniform and Keyblade armor piece and walked out the door. Half the shift wasn't even up yet. She walked up, all the way to the lookout tower. "Morning Lieutenant Kaspirteez." said Darwin Gemag, saluting her normally. Cadets these days.. "At ease." Athena said in a firm but quiet tone. She yawned and asked, "Any Heartless or Nobodies?" "None, according to Dillon." Darwin said casually, looking through a pair of binoculars, "But we're keeping a lookout, just in case we have to round up a few Shadows or Dusks." "Good, because the last time we attacked, you fumbled with the control lock of the prison and nearly let out a bunch of those things loose. Thanks to me, you weren't tried out for a Section 8." Athena said, her eyebrows narrowing. Darwin grinned sheepishly. "I was never really good at prison work." He said. Athena lowered her brow back again, replying, "Thats true. Whats the status on the Mark of Mastery?" "Very little information, I'm afraid. They say that all canidates must train throughly before preforming." Athena groaned at this. She was about to leave the tower when Darwin stated, "I also have an interesting bit of news, one small bit that's preparing the entire town for condition yellow. Yellow? As in "Moderate Threat"? She turned back to Darwin. "Listening now, are we?" "Just get on with it cadet!" Athena said impaitiently Darwin took a deep breath and said, "The worlds are under siege again." Athena couldn't believe her ears. "By whom? Heartless?" She asked. The cadet shook his head. "Reports have been floating around that someone is leading strange unknown entities through worlds and extinguishing them. Even worse, this individual is a Keyblade Wielder. Athena's jaw unhinged slighty. A Keyblade Wielder controlling masses of an evil being of unknown origin? Athena looked at Darwin closely just to make sure he wasn't playing a joke. Darwin went on, "People are calling this man 'The Time Operator', but I doubt that. No one here in Radiant Garden can ever control the power of Time spells, right?" Darwin's once cheerful grin slipped from his face, and replaced a worried one. Athena took a minute to weigh options. Darwin's observation on Time spells were correct, no Keyblade Wielder in Radiant Garden can preform a time spell, but if this man could, then for all Athena knew, he might come and attack Radiant Garden. She turned back to the cadet. "I want all eyes of my squadron peeled and ready for any oncoming results, got me?" She ordered. "Yes ma'am." Athena went downstairs for her daily briefing. If she was assigned to investigate on this little bit of news, which she will ask, she'll definitly take it.
Okay so basically I'm trying to make Etrius more complex then he should be, (At least, that's how I feel) and it's hard to keep the lock on certain things when it take a little long to go through it, if you're following me. What I'm trying to say is, I think Etrius is a bit of a shaky character on my part, and I'm asking your opinion. Do you think he's a bit much? Or is he fine the way he is?
This thread is backstory for the Cupid's Brew thread, explaining how Adrian and Tonitrui got into Fortissimo Academy. Now I don't need to say anything other than enjoy the thread, so yeah. --------------------------------------------------------------- 5:30 A.M., Gloval Residence, Seattle, Washington. A cold wind blew through the floorboards and walls of the house. Toni laid down on the driveway, looking up at the now fading stars. She was thinking about how her parents were doing. Toni's family was a bit wealthy, thanks to them winning the lottery, and now the parents were taking a private vacation. It was eventful to both Toni and her younger brother, knowing that their house will be completely empty for the rest of their summer. It did have Pros to being alone, of course. Toni and Adrian didn't have their parents ordering around, and personally, they didn't care if their parents disappeared altogether. Their parents controlled literally everything in the Apathy Twins life, what they wore, their manners, their choices and careers. They both became musicians, which was alright, but it still wasn't right to do stuff. It seemed like a dream that they were leaving for an entire summer. And that was it. At first, the brother and sister wanted to mess up the house, but they couldn't find the willpower to. It soon became pretty bleak. They didn't have any friends staying in the community for the summer, so after 2 months, things got boring. Luckily, Toni had found a camp to go to spend the rest of the summer. Adrian didn't really jump to the idea though, but Toni, being the older sister, signed them both up anyway and managed to coax the parents to pay for the fees. Tomorrow would be the day that they would be leaving. Toni rubbed a hand through her raven-black hair sighing. She then said, "You can come out now Adrian." Adrian's head appeared from the right side of the house from out of the shadows. He pushed his glasses more onto his nose, then put a foot on the garage door and leaned against it. "Your minds made up?" He asked quietly, crossing his arms. Toni got up and looked at her brother. He was two years younger than her, yet the two of them were refered as the Apathy Twins because of the way they acted. Adrian was cold, and he couldn't care less if someone called him a *****, but he had his reasons. After Adrian's second break-up with a girl, something in him shattered, and he became cold and uncaring. Toni on the other hand, Toni was a complete hothead. Anything even slightly annoying sets her off. And right now, Adrian had already got her annoyed for being out past his bedtime. "Shouldn't you be asleep?" She asked impaitienly. "You may be the bigger sister," Adrian said, "But last time I checked, I don't need you to tell me what to do." "Well we have a big day today. Don't you wanna sleep in to be totally refreshed later on?" "I couldn't sleep anymore. So I got up and saw you. Now answer my question. Is your mind made up? Adrian asked more intently. Toni kept herself calm and not snap at her smart aleck of a brother, and said in response, "Yes we are going. And if you dissagree, I'm sure we can settle with a small struggle battle." She looked at him with an angry smirk. Adrian shrugged. "Nah. Too tired to." He said. He yawned, bored, "And anyway, I change my mind about not agreeing to go." Toni sat up in surprise and looked at her brother, searching his face if he was bluffing. Adrian's face didn't change. "What made you change you mind?" She asked. Adrian shrugged again. "They said that its a music camp. Music is the one thing I never said no to." He said in a flat voice. Toni nodded. That was the only thing that made Adrian happy. He managed to learn 3 different instruments, as well as using his voice to sing. Toni had only known how to use the Organ. "Glad to hear that your mind changed." She said, smiling, as she laid back down and continued to look at the purple sky. Something still bugged Adrian though. "Toni?" He asked "Yes?" Came the reply. "You remember the Cupid's Brew site, right?" Toni sat up again. "What about it?" Adrian closed his eyes as he said, "I'm not getting the product. It's just some stupid bottle that people sell for cash. And I doubt it actually works." Toni cocked her head at her brother. "And if it does work?" She asked. Adrian opens an eye. "Then it would probably have dangerous side effects. And besides, I'm not desperate." Toni smarted from that last remark. "Just because people buy that doesn't mean they're desperate," Toni snapped, "They could use that thing for helpful purposes." "Still risky in case it actually works." Toni stood up, her eyes flashing in bitter annoyance. "Why can't you at least give a less harsh remark?"She growls. Adrian let out a stiff chuckle. "Why should I? To me, it's all a bunch of bullshit. And you can't deny that you're thinking the same thing. You are always skeptical when it came to advertisments. And if I didn't know any better, I'm thinking you were planning on getting it." Toni opened her mouth, then closed it again. Adrian had a point. She sat back down and thought about it. What were the chances that this "love potion" would actually work? She grunted, "I'm not getting that crap." Adrian closed his eye again as he said, "There you go." "But what choice do I have? I'm so interested on how it works. And plus, can you imagine if a boy actually fell in love with me?" Adrian reopened both eyes and trained them on his sister. "Don't tell me your desperate." Toni spun arround, her eyes like daggers. "I am not deperate! I'm just sick and tired of people taking me for a complete hurricane." Adrian sighed. "My advice," Adrian inquired, "Wait for the right one. God made us to be with someone else. Although I doubt that's true, it's my advice nonetheless." Toni narrowed her eyes and sneered, "And how would you know that? Your love life was nothing but pain. And another thing is that you can't stop being cryptic." It was Adrian's turn to narrow his eyes, as he said, "One, every second I'm talking is a second that you are not, and two, shut up before I shove a baseball bat so far up your butt, that you'll be spitting out toothpicks." Toni giggled. "I'm kidding and I'm sorry Adrian. I just want you to lighten up. This might be a good experience for us ever since our parents left for their vacation." Adrian frowned, then smiled slowly. "We better have breakfest." Adrian said suddenly, "It's already 5:56. We need to leave by 6. "Yeah." Toni got up, dusted herself, then walked back in the house. Adrian followed silently.
This story is a [revised] prediction of things that may come to when Etrius returns to his homeworld, and how one soldier, Etrius' best friend finds the open keyhole within the world. PROLOUGE Wind howled and eroded dust from the once hard-packed earth, now ravaged by the Battle of the Emblem Heartless. Structures crumbled from the weakening of various explosions and smashing of bodies against the walls. Fires that lasted for days crackled and sparked, either inside or outside the destroyed structures. The only thing that withstood the battle was a large fortress at the end of the town, towering in all it's glory with slight gashes of wear and tear and bruised by various past explosions. That very castle, was the Abraxas Fortress. It stood for 2 weeks without any inhabitants, except for one, who stayed in the highest tower in all of the Fortress. It was a suit of metallic armor in the shape of a feminine body. It knelt in front of a sword shaped in that of a key, silent and unmoving. In all those 2 weeks, it had not moved from its post for neither a drink of water nor a bite of food, for Armored Heartless don't truly need nourishment at all. These new type of Heartless were a strange variant in it's own right. It is most unlike any creature, if any at all can compete with this being. Unlike Purebloods, each Armored Heartless carried but one heart in Armor's metallic shell, but unlike Emblem Heartless, these creatures manifest from pure darkness alone. Another feature that sets Armors completely different from both Purebloods and Emblems, is that they act exactly like high-ranking Nobodies, having a mind of its own. But it is not completely whole. Armors are nothing more then dark shadowy threads holding a heart, contained in a armor of a fallen Keyblade Wielder. But what makes them really special is the armor itself, holding the very life essecense if the Wielder died within his or her Armor. Thus, a body has the ability to grow within the suit overtime. There is a catch though, the Heartless itself needs to make a choice to return to realm of light and regain their place among the living, or stay bound to the world as nothing more than living metallic suits. This one Armor, at the tower's room, had a special purpose, bestowed by the last of the Parilazs, the one who got away. The Armor had been ordered to guard the Fortress, or whatever was left standing of it for that matter. It never moved for anything, it never really had to. For these walls were empty, nothing bothered them. This Armor's name, (As this was the only thing that she could remember after coming to being) was Aileen. She, like the the other Armors, were found by Draconine, like roses in a desert. They were infinitely unique. She had a deep-purple metallic armor, and looked to be the age of a 12-13 year old. She had a special bond with the youngest of the current Parilaz generation, Etrius. It was he that bestowed such orders to defend a now lifeless Fortress. Aside from that, Aileen had been Etrius' voice of reason whenever Etrius' own voice of reason failed him, and also the first to swing her Keyblade if he was defenseless. She was also his closest friend in the entire Fortress. Etrius never made friends during crowd control, and she was the only one who would willingly accompany him in a dangerous outing. That being said, Aileen started to change. She was now able to speak normally, though her voice came out as groans and scratching noises, because she didn't have a mouth to speak. This brought Etrius closer to her, as she was able to speak her mind. She was self-aware of her existence as an odd type of Heartless, and wondered why she couldn't remember anything except her own name. At times when she felt miserable, it had been Etrius who comforted her. But now was time of great trouble, and even though Etrius is within the safe haven of the Land of Departure, he will need to save the one being who he cares for the most besides his family. CHAPTER 1- Another Warm Body? Aileen moved at the sound of a large pounding coming from the castle below. She lifted her head and opened her eyelids. Wait a minute....eyelids?? Aileen put her hands to her helmet and pushed at it. Something felt new. Something.....real perhaps? She removed her helmet. and looked for a mirror in the room. She found a small piece of reflective glass and looked into it. She gasped for the first time in her reborn existence. Within the looking glass was a pair of 2 storm-grey eyes, and short jet black hair, similar to Etrius but without the red streaks. She looked down at her body. She was still physically 12 years of age, but felt older than she actually was. She suddenly coughs, her vision, hearing, and smell magnified, but only for a minute. It was so odd. Most humans at her age don't realize how crucial it is to breath, but Aileen had been holding her breath. After a few minutes, she pulls herself together and looked at the glass again. She had become a human again, and it was starting to feel good. Through the looking glass, a small smile slid across the pale, porcelain skin of her face. She suddenly snapped out of her trance and strained to listen. The pounding had stopped. It would be safe to say that the castle lay undisturbed again by anyone and anything, but, something tugged at Aileen's newly formed gut, and had a small curiosity to investigate. She stepped forward, feeling the toes within her metallic boots. She walked slowly down the steps of the high tower and she made her way down the hall. As she made her way through the halls, she notices that the Cellar door had been opened. She scrapes through her memories, and remembers that as she and Etrius left the Cellar that day of Etrius' escape, she had closed the door. She entered the room quietly, and found that 3 wine caskets had fallen over. This was a bit unusual, since nothing nor no one even bothered to come down here. She looks down the vast Cellar to the statue that occupies the end wall. The statue had disappeared from its pedestal. Aileen heard a giant scraping sound, as if something sharp was being dragged across the floor. She turned to find the most horrible thing that words cannot describe. The statue had come to life. It's armor looked rusted and unclean, and it's chains clinked and clanked at it's every step. The blade belonging to the statue was being dragged across the floor as it walked. Evidently, even for a statue that looked so strong, the blade was nothing more than a burden that couldn't be lifted by anyone, and the blade had split wine over it, making it look like blood. Aileen's eyes widened. This new, unsettling feeling, this dread, she suddenly remembered. It was fear. The monster suddenly grabbed it's blade with both hands, poised to lift it and attack. Aileen jumped out of the way as the blade crashed down on the open door, reducing it to nothing but splinters. The beast tried to pick the blade up once more, but struggled. The blade had managed to get stuck with the stone floor and the monster was having trouble removing it. Aileen's gut tugged again and she had a bad taste in her mouth. As she took off to the refuge of the tower again, the beast successfully manages to pull it out, only to see that it's target had gotten away. It let out a ferocious roar. It was dull at first, but then it grew louder, and sounded as if a man was giving off an agonizing cry of pain or anger. It echoed off the walls of the abandoned castle, as Aileen finally got to the top and quickly shut the door behind her. CHAPTER 2- Options, Fears, and Answers. Aileen huffed and puffed in exhaustion. She was never exhausted in her life, and thus, a new feeling for her. Her heart thumped against her chest as she put her hand on it, feeling each thump get slower, and slower. She slid to the floor in order to rest, and to think. She coughed violently, covering her mouth. When she looked at it, a red liquid had appeared over her hand. Blood. The sight of it made her stomach curl. This meant that her body was still developing after her stillness over 2 weeks. If her body developed without problems, she would be a complete human for the rest of her newly reborn life. If she forced her body, she would die before the development process even finishes, which adds to her problems of being chased by a statue with an incredibly large blade. Her stomach suddenly growled. She was hungry. All these emotions were getting to her head and it was not helping. She thought that if she can get past the Cellar undetected, she would be able to get a bite of food from the Kitchen. She knew that she couldn't fight that thing, because she had a chance of killing herself, but she couldn't run from it either. The best way to get around that thing, was stealth. She got up, dusted herself off, then reopened the tower door. Outside was completely silent, except the blowing of the wind, which howled a gentle breeze over the barren town. She looked at the sky. It was two hours till nightfall, and who knows what might be out there after that time. She stepped out, closing the door silently behind her, and quickly walked down the steps. In the halls, nothing stirred. There wasn't even sharp scraping of the blade that the strange statue carried. All was safe...for now. She continued past the Cellar, walked up to Dining Room Hall, and entered the Kitchen. It stayed the way that it used to. There, on a large table, stood some week-old bread and a knife, and some apples. Strangely enough, there was a radio on that same table, and stranger still, it was giving off a loud static noise. No one was in the Kitchen, but something felt off. It looked as if something had prepared this for her, but the radio was telling her something else. She shrugged it off, and walked to the table and tore off a slice of bread, and took and apple. As she took a bite, chewed, then swallowed, she felt her stomach calm down a little. she saw another mirror. There was a statue behind her. She spun around, then jumped out of the way as the statue's blade crashed through the mirror. Aileen backed away from the monster. The radio noise was deafening now. The monster heaved the blade to his right, but Aileen jumped high into the air and landed on the table. She grabbed the bread and the apples. She also grabbed the radio, convinced that it might be useful. As for the knife she threw it at the monster with great accuracy, the knife hit the statue in the back. Surprisingly, the knife went through the armor, causing the beast to give a shriek of pain. Aileen dodge rolled under the monster, and went out to the hall, locking the door behind her. Her heart was pounding in fear, but she didn't cough. She knows that the monster will be held up, but not for long. She walked quickly down the hall and disappeared around another corner, just as the door to the Kitchen burst to splinters. As Aileen moved away from the statue, the static emitting from the radio lessened in volume, and then shut up completely. She found another door, entered it, and locked herself in. CHAPTER 3- Room of the Mannequin http://www.silenthillmemories.net/music/downloads/sh2_ost/06 - Promise (Reprise).mp3 Aileen turned to see where she was at. It was an incredibly large bedroom. The walls were painted a royal purple, the drapes were a dark burgundy color. There were the same type of furniture that any ordinary room has. A dresser, some nightstands, a bathroom, a mirror, and a window looking outward. There in the middle of the room was a large king-sized bed with the Parilaz family insignia on the headboard. This must have been the room of the Lord and Lady of Abraxas. Aileen looked around the room. Nothing seemed out of ordinary. There were pictures on the nightstands and a mannequin version of Keyblade Armor next to the dresser, but nothing strange, so Aileen allowed herself to relax. She walked over to one of the nightstands and picked up one of the many frames that stood, showing a large happy family of 5 looking back at her. She wondered why she couldn't remember anything, why she didn't have a family. Etrius was so lucky back then. Now she didn't know what become of him. She soon focused more on Etrius. This photograph was taken not even a month ago, but it looked old and faded. It showed Etrius smiling, slick but messy hair with red streaks flowing everywhere off his head, his eerie but cheerful yellow eyes twinkling with laughter, his bright smile flashed a small canine that made him look like a teenage vampire, his pale peach skin enforcing that notion. Aileen's stomach did a flip-flop and felt her face grew hot. She looked at the mirror to see that she was blushing, which confused her. This emotion made her uncomfortable, yet she felt strangely happy. She remembered the way Etrius made her feel better whenever she was insecure, and made her laugh with his semi-sarcastic attitude and somewhat dry but truthful optimism whenever things got glum. Her heart suddenly felt light, threatening to come out of her chest. Then, she spotted something from the mirror. The mannequin beside the dresser was gone, as if it used its legs to get out of there. She turned around to confirm that she wasn't hallucinating. Yep, the spot beside the dresser was bare, as if the mannequin hadn't been there in the first place. http://www.silenthillmemories.net/music/downloads/sh3_ost/10 - Innocent Moon.mp3 Aileen was instantly on her guard, putting the frame back in its place and looking around the room. The radio that she picked up from the Kitchen had suddenly started to emit static again, but it was low in volume. Still, that set her on edge. She suddenly looked out the window. It was the same mannequin from the room, standing on one of the rooftops. But it had what looked like 8 small tentacles, 4 on each side, coming from its back. The radio had reached medium volume and was going on and off, indicating to Aileen that this radio seemed to act like a beacon. She stared straight at the creature that had been in the room the entire time. She blinked. The creature had disappeared, and the radio's static level started to dull. What was that creature? What did it want? She certainly didn't want to know. She decided to return to the High Tower. She went to the door, unlocked it, peered through it, checking if the rouge statue was roaming about. Thankfully, no scraping was heard. Aileen closed the door behind her, and walked quickly back to the High Tower room. CHAPTER 4- Personal Reflection Seven days had passed since Aileen's 2 encounters with the Executioner Statue and the one encounter with the Unsettling Mannequin. The High Tower of the Abraxas Fortress had became her room. She kept herself in top shape, and her body had finished her development process. Whenever she was hungry, she snuck into the Kitchen and grabbed whatever was inside that hadn't expired, and took very little to survive. She also exercised her body in many ways possible, ranging from physical exercise, like push ups and pull-ups, and mental exercises, like reading. She also taught herself to speak and work her vocal chords, since she hadn't spoken ever since she'd developed a body. Moreover, she took some of Etrius' schoolbooks to learn more physical and magical spells for her arsenal, because she knew very well that she couldn't hide forever. Already, Aileen had seen the Mannequin from her only outside window, on the Back Courtyard, staring up at her, silent as ever, never attacking her, but only watching. The Executioner, however, always attacked her the first chance it got. Twice it had hurt her in the past, luckily though, Etrius' spell books taught her to do the Cure spell. Over the past few days, Aileen had armed herself not just from the two monsters that plagued her day by day, but was ready to be a human again. Her memory of her past life may not be completely intact, but she was able to process the memories she held when serving the Parilaz line. It was day 11 in the Fortress, and Aileen woke up from the bed that the Tower had held for any likely guest that would temporarily stay in the castle. She got up, and changed out of her nightgown. She scavenged spare clothes from both the Servant's Quarters and the Master Bedroom that would suit her needs. After all, the armor that she worn was getting smelly. The only thing she couldn't do about the armor was to change it back to it's Activator form. Today was the day were she would go to the Library and find out how. She dressed in a purple blouse shirt which had a black version of the Parilaz insignia on the back, and black fitting skinny jeans. She also put on a small necklace in the shape of a water droplet. She grabbed a golden delicious apple from a bowl on the reading table and the broken radio from on top of the nightstand. This particular radio had saved Aileen's life on numerous occasions against the Executioner, and she left it on her nightstand while she slept. But the Executioner never entered the High Tower, much less went up. Every single time the Executioner was chasing Aileen, it always stopped at the foot of the steps leading to the Tower. It then turned around, and disappear into the Fortress, as if nothing happened. Once Aileen felt that she was ready, she unlocked the door, and went outside. A familiar, dead breeze whisked her skin. She looked over the railing of the stairs to the town below. As desolate as ever. She trotted down the steps and entered the Fortress hallway. It was silent and very dark. No light brightened the hallways. "Lux." Aileen said in a quiet voice, and released from her hand a small ball of light that floated in the air next to her. She walked silently towards the Library, straining her ears to any sound, any indication that danger was nearby. She kept her radio on but at a low volume so that the monsters could detect if she was nearby. She walked along thinking about the monsters that tormented her. She sensed both darkness and negativity from both of them, which meant that they were both a special kind of Heartless, but at the same time, Aileen felt as if she met these things before. But where exactly? The Executioner was fierce and relentless, and seemed to take in a lot of pain. But the Mannequin seemed inviting, taunting even, and it seemed to lure prey into a trap rather than frontal assault. Those thoughts were put at the back of her mind as she entered the Audience Chamber. It felt empty and eerie as well as very dark and silent. There stood the 2 iron thrones of both of the parent Parilazs. It was so strange that the people who had once inhabited this room practically half their lives was gone from existence. She had seen the Parilaz family fall by one individual that Etrius had sworn to kill before returning here and starting anew. Etrius. She frowned quietly and bowed her head to the thrones. It was a wonder at all that Aileen had survived 3 entire weeks without getting severely injured or even captured. She hadn't seen any of the other Armors after the fall of Abraxas. So far, it had been only her and two monsters in one castle. And yet, she didn't know what kept her moving. Every single time she got frustrated or had gotten stuck, Etrius was there for her. It would be safe to say that it was Etrius that kept Aileen going, knowing that Etrius had escaped, and he vowed to come back. Come back. She wanted to say those words out loud, hoping Etrius would here her. She was awfully depressed by his absence, not having a companion to talk to. Suddenly, Aileen's radio started emitting a low static noise. Danger. She heard one of the doors open. In a flash, Aileen hid behind a nearby pillar and muted the noise coming from her radio, and hissed "Tenebris!" causing her light to go out. Her heart thumped against her chest the way it always did as she heard large, heavy footfalls and the jingling of chains. The Executioner was in the throne room. It tugged at it's blade emitting it's usually scraping sound. It limped over to Draconine's throne and sat in it, letting out an exhausted groan. Aileen watched it as the thing had set it's blade down. After what seemed like an hour, the beast let out a low growl, and a sentence popped into Aileen's head. "Come out. I can smell the blood rushing through your veins and your heart pounding like a jackhammer. I am ordering you to come out." CHAPTER 5- The Executioner's Order Aileen's heart nearly stopped. She had been caught. She quietly stepped out from behind the pillar and looked up at the monster. She had the strangest feeling that she was looking at Draconine, but this wasn't the case. "Why don't you kill me right now?" Aileen asked, her voice quiet, but firm. The monster let out a low grunt, "I'm honor-bound, so I can't kill you during a full moon. That being said, I am to stop any aggressions until the moon wanes." Aileen can hardly believe her ears. That was exactly what Draconine would say against any warring country that wanted to pick a fight with him. He always never caused any hostilities during that time. Was this really Draconine, trapped in the form of a Heartless Armor? No, this couldn't be. It was impossible. Aileen's radio went off (Hadn't she muted it?), causing her to spin around. There behind her, was the Mannequin. This is as close as it had ever gotten whenever it stalked Aileen. It was then that Aileen was able to look at the Mannequin properly. It had the body of a female, and the helmet had no horns. The helmet was also rounded and smooth, like the creature had no face. It was strangely tall, and parts of the armor were cut off in some places, as if the parts were visibly detachable. Right in the middle, showed that the armor had been slashed through, as though a blade went through it. Aileen shivered at both figures in the room. The Mannequin stood there, silent as ever, watching both the Executioner and Aileen. Aileen turned back and asked, "Why do you want to kill me?" It was the Mannequin who responded this time, but it did not emit any sound. Instead, a voice, tempered with static, replied, "Because it is in our nature. After we died, we both became embodiements of what was our most precious treasure. It is our purpose to eliminate anything or anyone that ever entered our castle. You are no exception." These words caused Aileen to get annoyed. "What have I ever done to you in the past?" She demanded. "Nothing of any sort." snarled the Executioner, "But you invading our sanctuary is enough to be punished by the fullest extent of the law." The Executioner stood, "You have until the end of the full moon to leave this castle. If not, I challenge you to a duel here in this chamber, otherwise I will climb up that tower and rip that heart out of your chest." Those words sent chills down Aileen's spine. But that fear soon turned to anger. "I've never done anything to you!" she cried, "And much less do I want any of your worthless junk! And I will not leave! I promised my friend I would protect it with my life!" The Executioner let out a low shriek, but was silenced by the small buzz of static that was emitted by the Mannequin. The Executioner sat back down and let out a low groan, "Then be prepared to fight. Return back here by the end of the full moon." Suddenly, Aileen's eyes flashed an iridescent green, and she felt calm, like there was nothing to fear. She spoke again, a second voice, the voice of a goddess perhaps, spoke in unison with Aileen's. "I will not fight. Anything you say or you do, I will not lift a finger. On the contrary, I am ordering you to leave, demon. Begone. You are nothing more than a a shred of a shadow, haunting and trying to kill an innocent. Begone demon, or I will be the one to strike you down." The Executioner growled and stood, and picked up his blade, and left the room. The Mannequin stood for a moment, then disappeared. Aileen was left alone, wondering just what happened. Did a second voice just speak with hers? Did she just challenge the very authority of a monster that can kill her with one fell swoop? She sighed heavily. If only Etrius were here. He would do something. She pushed the thoughts at the back of her mind, and went to the door leading to the Library. It was vast and empty as usual. As she scaled one of the shelves, she thought of both of the monsters. Could they really be the Heartless of Draconine and Dementia Parilaz? She doubted it. "Ah, here is exactly what I'm looking for.." Aileen muttered as she picked up a copy of The Anatomy of Keyblade Armor. As she grabbed the apple from her pocket and took a bite, she knew that she couldn't play pacifist forever. She would need to fight. CHAPTER 6- Etrius' Bloody Fiery Hell Nighttime. Aileen was up in the Tower, reading her book. Her armor scattered around the room, detached from it's links as Aileen read the instructions to create an Activator piece. "So if I were to unscrew this part.." She thought as she read the book and prodded her screwdriver around the torso part, "And if I were to attach it to this part," she grabbed a small piece of a handmade generator, "I might be able to do it!" She plugged two wires connecting to screw bolts and the generator parts, and stepped back, waiting to see what happened. Suddenly a small jolt shocked the torso and the generator, but other than that, nothing happened. Aileen's heart sank. She banged a fist on the worktable, making some of the metal clink. It had been days since Aileen started to work on this project, getting the materials she needed from the castle. As promised, the Executioner made no attempt to strike Aileen down during her presence. The Mannequin still watched her though. Probably waiting for her to make one wrong move, Aileen had bet. But as soon as she had the materials she needed she soon realized that the task at hand was starting to be a little too difficult for her. And time was running out. Tomorrow was the day she was to fight the Executioner. And she couldn't do the simple task of creating the Activator piece?? She was so close! http://www.silenthillmemories.net/music/downloads/shsm_cst_disc2/26 - Michelle's Theme 01.mp3 She had been working so hard, that she didn't even know she could beat that monster. She looked up to a picture frame of Etrius that she had taken from the castle. She blushed quietly as she looked at the photogragh. She picked up the frame, and inspected it closely. It was another Etrius smiling picture, but this time he was alone. Every feature of his face probably signified happiness to anyone who would look at the frame. But to Aileen, it meant so much more. This boy, this very boy, meant the world to her. And at that very moment, she realized that the very emotion, the emotion that made her heart flutter, made her cheeks blush a bright red, was love. Aileen didn't like this boy. She loved him with every part of her heart. Ever since he started talking to her, she soon developed those feelings of happiness, sadness, and anger, and learned to speak on her own. By then, she really liked the Etrius, and became his personal companion, not by order, but by personal request. They talked with each other, fought together, and protected the Fortress together. Yes, Aileen loved Etrius. That was all that mattered. A tear slid down Aileen's cheek as she smiled, knowing her true feelings for him. Everything would be all right. If she could survive in this Fortress for as long as she had already done so, then she could survive much longer until Etrius returned. Aileen set the frame down and just realized that while she had been inspecting the frame, the generator piece and the torso had merged with each other, and there, on the worktable, was the Activator piece she had worked so hard for. The other armor pieces had completely disappeared, but that was normal. Aileen suddenly felt tired. She took one last look at Etrius' photograph, she blew a kiss at it, and then went to change into her nightgown, and after that fell right into bed, her eyes immediately closing. Little did Aileen know, that Abraxas was about to change, thanks to the thoughts of Etrius. Aileen had a dream that night. She was in a large room where she was mouse-sized. Behind her were four people. One of them was a 18 year old boy with blue, backward hair spikes and a calm, collected demeanor, another was a female of the same age, with white flowing hair, and dark green eyes, and a more mysterious attitude. Aileen gasped as the third figure fell the ground, and disappeared in a pool of darkness. Aileen looked up at the final figure. That figure, was Etrius. All of them were fighting a large cat. The cat looked ordinary, but Aileen sensed something nasty coming from it. At first Etrius looked shocked to see that the third figure had fallen. Then, Etrius' eyes went from yellow to red. His skin took a darkish tint. His movement was......well, erratic. Etrius turned and took off for the cat, screaming and cursing, brushing past the two other figures who were fighting the cat as well. Etrius screamed, "YOU WILL NOT HURT MY FRIENDS!" and swung his Keyblade straight at the animal's head. As the blade collided, a large distorted gong of a clock was heard, and then Aileen saw another image. This image was of a figure in a black, red and purple armor. On the helmet, was the glowing red insignia of the Parilaz family. The image disappeared, and so did the dream, leaving Aileen looking at static. http://www.silenthillmemories.net/music/downloads/sh2_ost/19 - Silent Heaven.mp3 Aileen woke up, sweating and shaking. What was that all about? She cleared her head and her thoughts to notice that her radio was emitting static at high volume. Aileen looked around and checked the outside window. No danger was around, and the static noise was lowering until it shut off completely. But Aileen was not convinced. She had woken up from a nightmare, and she didn't need trouble during her sleep time. She quickly gotten herself dressed, and attached the Activator plate on her left shoulder and quickly went out the door, out to the Back Courtyard. It was strangely dark outside, the sky being pitch black, and a thick fog covered the Courtyard. Aileen looked around. Still nothing. She put her hands on her hips. Was this some kind of trick? She didn't know. She was about to go up back to the tower when the large gong of a clock was heard. http://www.silenthillmemories.net/music/downloads/sh2_ost/26 - Black Fairy.mp3 It was the very same distorted clock noise that she heard from her dream. All at once, the same image of the figure in armor appeared in her head, only more distorted this time. The radio again started to emit static at a high volume, making Aileen's head hurt. She covered her ears trying to block out the noise, but to no avail. All at once, it stopped. Everything, the flashing images in Aileen's head, the pain, the static noise, everything had stopped. Aileen looked up at the sky. The moon was out. But it was blood red. http://www.silenthillmemories.net/music/downloads/sh3_cst/44 - Lakeside Amusement Park - The Memory of Alessa.mp3 Suddenly, the environment around her changed. Pieces of stone peeled off the walls as if like paper. Part of the structures crumbled and sagged a bit. The entire Fortress looked suddenly older, if not more grotesque than it already was after the fall of the Parilazs. She turned around to see the Mannequin. But instead of the radio emitting static, the Mannequin was turning to stone. It tried to reach a hand to Aileen, asking her for help, but it was no use. The Mannequin soon turned into a complete stone statue. Aileen gave the thing one last look, then turned her attention back to the environment around her. She had just entered Etrius' personal nightmare, come to life. CHAPTER 7- Entra ao Sange http://www.silenthillmemories.net/music/downloads/shsm_ost/14 - Raw Shock.mp3 Aileen looked around, shocked at what happened. Everything looked diferent, not to mention horrendous. Pipes flowing with water produted out of the walls. Shards of glass was all that was left of windows. Stone statues were either covered in blood, or were horribly deformed and looked like demons. She ran to the door to the main castle. Strangely, it was locked. She looked around again, and threw her hands up in the air, frustrated. What to do, what to do? What would Etrius do in this kind of situation? She looked at the wall surrounding the courtyard. She climbed up the stairs of her tower and checked her door. Also locked. "What the hell?" She said madly. As she climbed down the steps, she knew that the only way out was up the walls. As she reached the foot of the steps, she pressed the Activator button, but it didn't work. She looked back at the wall. If she can jump that wall, she might be able to go around and check the rest of the doors. She stepped back, then took a running start. She jumped and caught the ledge in her fingers, then heaved herself up. The town looked more desolate then ever. Aileen jumped down, weaved her way around the buildings, avoiding Heartless, and got to the main door of the Fortress. The door had 7 different types of bolts, each unlocked with a different word, and finally unlocked with the Keyblade itself. They change over time, but Aileen luckily gets an update. After all, no one but the Parilazs can understand the groans of a Heartless Armor. Aileen stepped back, and closed her eyes and emitted the 7 words. "Potentia, Lux, Tenebris, Bonum, Mortis, Corruptionem, ac Fata." She then summoned her Keyblade and pointed it at the door. A flash of light emitted from the blade, and a line of light hit the door. A large creak was heard, and the door opened slightly. At least one of the doors opened. she walked inside. http://www.silenthillmemories.net/music/downloads/shsm_ost/10 - Lost Truth.mp3 The entire Entrance Hall was completely empty, and ominously quiet. "Lux!" She muttered, and a ball of light went off. She looked around. The walls were ashen and charred. The carpet was old. She moved about the room, examining objects. How could an entire world change just in a blink of an eye? She didn't know. She heard a sharp groan and turned just in time to parry the large and heavy blade of the Executioner. She could barely manage to keep both blades above her head. She then put a foot to one side and let the Executioner's blade fall to the floor, entering the ground, stuck again. Aileen then got behind the Executioner, and did an uppercut slashing that made the monster fly to one of the walls, it down. The battle for the castle has begun. Chapter 8- Ice Cold http://www.silenthillmemories.net/music/downloads/sh3_cst/45 - Lakesside Amusement Park - Alessa.mp3 Aileen flew at the Executioner once more, only to get smacked hard across the face by the monster. It got up and walked over to a fallen Aileen. She did got hurt, but she only faked her fall, and slashed at the beast's legs, making it fall to its knees. But the beast would not give up, not so easily. It got up again and faced Aileen fully, its blade wedged in the stone floor not more than 8 feet away. Aileen swooped her Keyblade at it again, being caught by the Executioner's hand. Next thing Aileen knows, she's flying through the air and smashing into a nearby wall, pain utterly consuming her upper and lower back. She got up, seeing the pyramid-headed Armor unwedging the blade from the floor, and weighed her options. Obviously, one hit from that blade would be an instant hurt attack, however, it was pretty easy to say that it was too heavy to be wielded fast enough, so....... Aileen took off, getting behind the beast. The Excutioner swung it's blade over it's head, crashing it down behind it, wedging it into the floor again. Aileen dodged the blade just in time, keeping to behind the monster. As it turned, the Excutioner got a full face whack from Aileen's Keyblade flopping down on the floor 3 feet away. Aileen willed her blade to disappear and grabbed the Excutioner's blade, pulling on it, and finally unwedging it. She held the blade with difficulty, but she ran at the monster and as the monster saw her, she swung the blade, transffering all the energy through her body, out through one fell stroke of a blade. The monster went down, it's own knife produting out of it's chest as black blood oozed out of the hellish wound. Aileen's mind filled with more images, this time of Draconine. It showed of how Aileen became Etrius's personal bodyguard, how she'd been promoted to First Officer. Draconine wasn't just her Lord, her taskgiver, her teacher. Draconine was a friend. And now, she understood who this monster was. A tear slid down her cheek, red from catching her breath, and on impulse, knelt beside the monster, putting a hand on one of it's shoulders, now heaving in exhaustion and pain from being impaled. http://www.silenthillmemories.net/music/downloads/sh2_ost/03 - Forest.mp3 This monster, was Draconine himself, in his Heartless Armor form. Aileen understood why he was like this. Knowing that his last son, alive and had escaped was hapiness for this person, but knowing that the rest his family was dead put him in a state of deep saddness even before he died. Thus, his emotions were preserved as well as his mind, molded together by the corrupted emotions of agony and territorial anger, forcing him to become a Heartless Armor. The blade represented the very memory of Draconine losing his family, a burden he was now forced to bear as he limped through the halls of the Fortress he once had ruled. "I'm so sorry." Aileen said, tears soaking her face, running down her chin, "If I had only known...." "Shut-up." The beast groaned, "You may have won your claim to roam my castle, but you'll never get past me when you want to unlock the seal." "What seal?" The creature uttered a low growl, "There are more secrets in this castle than you know. The secret that I am forced to guard can either bring peace to this world once more, or plunge it into absolute destruction. Either way, you shall not pass. For the good of my world, stop asking. This destruction and devestation is only the beginning of something much worse." Aileen became angry. She stood, cheeks now dry, saying, "What is the matter with you?? You act like everything is all right, when its actually not! What have I ever done to you? Either you let me pass, or you end up regretting it." "Frankly my dear, I have enough to regret about. You're just a child. You'll never beat me." Aileen's paitience ran out. "This world belongs to my friend!!" She screamed, "I made a promise to make this world better until he comes back!!!" She summoned her Keyblade, pointing it at the Executioner, "You will stand aside, or I will promise you more pain than what Hades can actually produce!!!" http://www.silenthillmemories.net/music/downloads/sh2_aethryix_soundtrack/27 - Hangers.mp3 At Aileen's last word, a sound of a distorted off-key note of an organ was heard and the air of the castles suddenly changed. It turned from humid and old, to frosty and dry. The walls started to revert to their original color and state, but as soon as it did, ice started to crystallize the castle. The floors and rugs froze up, either giving off a white or blue hue. The outside windows reformed it's glass, but it too soon froze over. A wall of ice drew upwards behind Aileen, blocking the main entrance. The other doors, leading to different parts of the castle, reverted as well, only to reveal blue flurocent paint, painted over the door panes. Even the Executioner started to freeze, the knife still in it's chest. Time completely halted, the air became still, and the blood moon vanished, leaving and incredibly dark sky. Even Aileen's light vanished. Aileem rubbed her hands together, now completely cold. This was starting to become ugly. CHAPTER 9- Raw Shock Heartless/A Cry For Help http://www.silenthillmemories.net/music/downloads/shsm_ost/06 - Hostility.mp3 Aileen bent down on her knees, huffing and puffing. She had been walking through the Iceworld for an hour, and she still couldn't get out of the castle. Most of the paths were blocked off, and the some of the blue-paned doors doubled back and brought her to the same place that she was in. She cleared her thoughts once more. For some reason, she wasn't able to summon her Keyblade, as if a powerful type of magic was inhibiting it's use. She couldn't summon a beacon light to lead her out, all the light she could conjour up was the same light that brightened her path. She couldn't even summon any spells, like fire magic. She sighed, knowing that she was powerless and alone. She reached into one of her pockets, and pulled out her radio. Somehow, it had shut itself off when the Otherworld started to appear. She switched it on, and the radio immeadietly started giving off white noise. Aileen heard some tapping and clattering on one of the ice walls. She looked out into the ice wall, seeing various stuff, frozen over inside. Simple chairs, a chess table, some potted plants, and....... A creature put it's face to the ice, letting out a distorted girl scream, startling Aileen. The radio let out the most static when the creature came, but the creature disappeared before Aileen could get a good look. Another scream was heard in the ice wall behind Aileen, she looked, seeing three of those creatures...and the Mannequin Heartless. The three creature disappeared, walking on all fours. These creatures looked like a different kind of Pureblood, but indeed a rouge type, mutated like the world around Aileen. It looked like a Neoshadow, minus the antennas and it looked horribly and visibly scarred. It had no eyes, but it seemed to function on the sensing of body heat. The Mannequin looked at Aileen, and a white noise-like voice rasped through her radio, "i'd sT4rT runNInGG iF II were Y0u..." http://www.silenthillmemories.net/music/downloads/shsm_ost/09 - Devil's Laughter.mp3 The door that Aileen had first came from after her fight with the Executioner burst open, more of those creatures coming out. Aileen took off to the Library, those creatures following her. She disapeared in and out of the bookcases, confusing these "Raw Shock Heartless". One did caught up to her before she could enter the door, grabbing on to her, but Aileen made an effort to throw it off. She entered the Ballroom, running into more Raw Shocks, making inhuman screams at the sight of Aileen. This was getting nowhere fast. She ran to a nearby door, leading to the Audience Chamber. Her radio started to emit low, grainy static. But it wasn't sharp, like it emitted when more Raw Shocks were nearby. She flew into the Audience Chamber, then into one of the long hallways. The grainy static became louder and louder. Aileen suddenly fell, having been tackled by 2 Raw Shocks. She felt her life force ebbing away, being sucked by these monstrosities. Her eyes had soon started to close. It was over. "Etrius," Aileen said, voice very weak, "Help me." A disorted gong of a clock was heard, and the both Raw Shocks that were holding Aileen flew to the walls. They put their claws to their throats, as if being choked. Aileen got up slowly then started to limp to the last doorway, to the tower. CHAPTER 10- Silence and Saddness/The Sanctum of Inner Power As Aileen pushed through the door, one second she had seen the tower bent in an akward shape, the next second the tower bent back to it's original shape, and the Iceworld around her melted before her eyes, walls and buildings returning to their desolate state. The sky turned from pitch black to grey, and it started to snow. She walked up the steps and opened the door to the tower. Everything was just as Aileen had left it. She limped over to the the picture of Etrius. She had random bruises from her fight with the Excutioner, and her encounters with the Raw Shock Heartless had left her with large scratches. She looked like hell. Is this was what she needed to endure for Etrius? She picked up the photograph, and two tears fell. "Etrius, I need you...." Aileen said. Her mind reeled, and fell on her bed, unconcious from exhaustion. She dropped the photograph. It fell to the floor, making a large clatter, and the glass holding the picture shattered as the picture got out of its frame. Within her subconcious, she fell through a deep abyss. It felt like water, as she fell through, falling, falling.......... She landed slowly on a blank pillar. She opened her eyes and looked around. This must be her Station of Awakening, though it was strange that it was blank. She looked to find herself staring at her. She rubbed her eyes and blinked. This was no mirage. There was a duplicate of herself staring right back at her, the only difference between Aileen and her duplicate was that the duplicate had bright green eyes, not storm-grey. 6 green Keyblades appeared around the duplicate surrounding it like wings, and Aileen felt her energy returning to her as she felt power radiating from this duplicate. "What do you want?" Aileen asked timidly. The duplicate spoke, her voice older, but much like Aileen's own,"I am your other half. I am here to greet you, and answer the questions that you ask." "Impossible. I was born from darkness. The power you radiate not only blindes me but is the polar opposite of what I should have. The other Aileen smiled. "Improbable, not impossible." She said. "You were born from darkness, as everyone does, whether from light, darkness, or in-between, however, your body rejected the darkness because of the enviornment around you. Corruption usually hides within darkness, and has a great hold over this world even after you returned to the world of the living. Those who choose to live with corruption don't realize that there body will reject that raw power the first chance it gets." The original Aileen thought about this, knowing that this was a fact. But that still didn't answer one question. "And why did you come to be, if your power is light?" The duplicate looked at Aileen more thoughtfully, then said, "Your body rejected the darkness, but you weren't a body without a heart, because your time as a Heartless Armor was rewarded with you returning to the living world. I was soon created, gaining your thoughts and your memories. However we are not fully assimalated." "And thats why this pillar is a total blank. I'm a complete blank. That would explain why Draconine's Heartless didn't recognize me. Armor Heartless usually tell you if they recognize someone." "You aren't a total blank." The duplicate said, "You became a somebody. The Station of Awakening is the sanctum of your inner powers or your fears. Vanquising either task results of putting you in a true title among the living, but you aren't a Nobody." "Alright, then what am I to do to get out of here? I need to return. Etrius is counting on me." The air suddenly changed, and a gust of wind blew threw both Aileens. The gust turned into a twister of darkness, a pool of darkness appearing on the floor of the pillar, and as the tornado calmed, the figure in red, black, and purple Keyblade Armor appeared. The Parilaz family symbol appeared on its helmet in a strange red light. It was hunched over, and the figure did occasional spasms. Aileen looked on in horror and soon realized who it was. "Is that...?" "Yes, thats him." Responded Aileen's double as her green eyes flashed. She spread out her wings and attacked. Antiform Etrius jumped out of the way just in time, as it summoned 2 Keyblades of the same kind, and did a backfire jump, changing to offensive. "NO!" The original Aileen screamed. She jumped in time with the Antiform, summoned her Keyblade and barrel-rolled in the air, catching him in the head, making him fall to the ground 35 feet away. On the floor, it kicked out its legs, rolling off its back and landing on his feet. He threw his hands in front, and the Keyblades that he'd dropped flew back at him. He suddenly entered a wormhole. "Behind us!" Shouted inner Aileen. Both of them jumped out of the way just in time for the Antiform to fly through, lunging with it's Keyblades, and entering another wormhole. The same movement was repeated again and again. "Enough of this! I'm getting tired of just watching and not attacking!" The original Aileen said. She flew in and hurled her Keyblade in a Counter Raid, striking the Antiform just as it was lunging at her. She ran at the Antiform, caught her Keyblade as it returned, then nabbed one of the Keyblades Etrius had and did a backwards uppercut with it. The Antiform got launched into the air, only to get smacked down by Inner Aileen. The Antiform crashed to the ground. It lay still for a time, but not for long. It suddenly flys upward and lands on its feet, and its armor cracks in some places, and more darkness starts to pour out from its shoulders like smoke. The helmet and torso parts fell away, revealing Etrius's cloak underneath. Two red eyes glowed beneath the hood, pulled over the head and hiding the face. Only certain pieces of Etrius's armor, including the shoulder, elbow and knee parts remained. It twiched more violently. "It's becoming more animal-like." The Inner Aileen said, "It'll be much stronger and faster that way." The Antiform smashed its Keyblade into the pillar, and a sharp pain reveberated off Aileen's chest. The Antiform attacked without its Keyblade. Before Aileen could process the instinct, she was going toe-to-toe with Etrius, blocking every attack it did with it hands. Each attack was fast, and Aileen soon forgot to parry one jab. She fell down, the wind knocked out of her body "Grab my arm!" Inner Aileen called. Aileen did so, and her duplicate disappeared in a flash of light. Aileen suddenly felt the power that was radiating off her duplicate. It felt powerful. The Antiform attacked again. Aileen jumped up and did a roundhouse kick on it causing it to fly backward. Aileen wasn't done though. Suddenly, 6 white Keyblades, more transparent than Aileen's duplicate's, and she flew at the Antiform, striking him upward. "VI Arcanums!" Aileen shouted, speaking with two voices, as each of her Wingblades, one at a time struck the Antiform before preforming a final Aerial Slam. Antiform Etrius crashed to the ground. As Aileen landed gently, the Antiform's body flew up one last time, let out a large tantrum of seizures, then fell back down, dissapating into a dark cloud of smoke. As the smoke disappeared, Aileen asked aloud, "What was that all about?' "That was an embodiement of your worst fear." A voice in her head said. "The corruption around you created it to turn you back to A Heartless." "And how was I able to utilize your powers?" "I am you. Now that we are now connected, you are able to truly use your powers, being one of a kind." At those very last words, shreads of light started to fly off the pillar, revealing a beautiful green glass picture of Aileen. Her eyes where closed, and she was holding two Keyblades, her original one, and a recolor version of the Keyblade that the Antiform was using. She was wearing sliver-green armor, rather then her usual purple. She looked up at the retreating threads of light, closing her eyes, feeling the power from within. She reopened her eyes, back in her room. Her armor had been activated, but it was silver-green, just like she saw. She was also holding a new recolored Keyblade. It It had a green hilt, and a narrow silver blade. The head of the Key came to a point, and a green clock, set to 2:00, glowed from the head. Aileen sheathed the blade, it disappering in a flash of light. She threw her legs over the bed and got up, and felt a crack beneath her right foot. She looked down to see the Etrius's shattered picture frame. http://www.silenthillmemories.net/music/downloads/shsm_cst_disc1/03 - Intro.mp3 She bent over and picked up the picture. She smiled a sad smile. She felt herself crying again. She longed to tell Etrius her feelings. She'd have to wait till he returns though. But she was strong. She can take it. But she couldn't stand being in the castle. She had to leave. Aileen deactivated her armor and placed the photo in her pocket, and grabbed some stuff to pack, including some food, the radio, some clothes and the picture. She shoved those things in a backback. She hoisted the backpack over her shoulders, took one long look at the room, then opened the door, and locked it for the last time. She walked down the steps, into the hall, past the Cellar, into the Dining Room, and out to the Entrance Hall. Her radio emitted a large amount of white noise in a loop, and in front of the main doors were the Mannequin and the Executioner. Aileen walked up to them without fear, merely pity for them. "By coming here, you forfeit your rights of your residence here." The Executioner groaned. The Mannequin said nothing, only staring at Aileen. The Executioner continued, "You must leave and never return, or risk being slain." The Executioner leaned into Aileen's face and hissed, "Do you except my terms?" Aileen looked at the monster defiantly, and said quietly but firmly, "Your reign will end before my friend dies at your hands. He and I share a bond so powerful, that not even your burden can withstand. You stand in our way, and you'll be the one, dead with one nail produting out of your coffin." Her eyes flashed green. The monster didn't show any aggression, but let out a large grunt. It stepped aside as Aileen walked through the door, and shut it behind her. She walked no more than 7 steps when she summoned her newest Keyblade and smashed it into the ground in front of the castle. A large bubble of light appeared around the castle, and there was a click of the main doors being rewired. Aileen had summoned a spell that no one other than the rightful heir of the Parilaz is able to unlock the massive shield that would protect the castle from futher harm. In this way, she had protected the rest of the city as well, because this spell also repelled the coming of either the Iceworld or the Otherworld from materializing anywhere else other than from within the castle grounds. she pulled her Keyblade out and sheathed it. She had been crying the entire time. She rubbed her eyes, turned, and disappeared into the city, never to return until Etrius comes back. -END-
Merely a small prediction of what you might expect.......or not... --------------------------------------------- Chapter 1 Abraxas. Last human zone to be expected at the least. A once prosperous world destroyed by the developing corruption among the people. Now, all you could expect when walking down the street, either one of following happen. You either get jumped on by a pack of Shadows, or you get your head taken by the Executioner Armor, which guarded the once powerful Fortress of the Parilaz family. The entire family, starting at the first generation, were legends from as far as the Lanes Between can extend. But the 6th generation were wiped out. Draconine and Dementia, as well as their two sons and daughter, were the last known residents of this castle. As far as anyone's concerned (or in this case the Heartless, but again, they don't have actually feelings.) the entire family is dead. Or are they? --------------------------------------------- They were in a large group of Neoshadows. Two figures, one wearing a large overcoat and blue jeans, and carrying a long-handed battle axe. His hair spiked at the front, and had pale blue eyes. The other figure wasn't so much like an open book. He wore a black cloak with red and purple streaks. His hood was over his head, but if you looked close enough, you could make out yellow catlike eyes. And right now, those eyes narrowed in frustration. The figure in the cloak back upped to his comrade, to the point where the two of them were back-to-back. More Neoshadows appeared. The situation was getting worse. "Any 'bright' ideas?" The first figure said. His eyes weren't filled with stress, but more like concern. "Was that supposed to be a joke?" The second figure hissed, "Because you sound worse than Wavemouth, and he's sarcastic!" The first figure sighed. "I'm just trying to 'lighten' the mood. And while trying to formulate a fast getaway, a bad attitude doesn't exactly help." The second figure's eyes suddenly went wide, then narrowed again, but this time, there was a sinister vibe of victory from within. "How about a Double Dutch?" The first figure looked back at his friend and smirked. "Would you like me to do the honors?" "Please do." The first figure straigtened, then reached for his axe. As he drew it, he pressed a knob on the handle, and the entire head clanks to the ground, echoing off in the dark alleyway. The blade appeared to be connected to some kind of chain. The first figure smiled, after that......... "NOW!" He shouted. The second figure jumped in the air, landed on his friend's shoulders, then launched off of that and barrel-rolled in the air. At the same time the first figure spun his axe vertically in the air, and without warning, spun the axe in a full circle, hitting some of the Heartless, which melted to water on contact. Then the figure stopped, spun the axe vertically again, this time in a taunting manner, he melted into water just before one of the the Neoshadows struck him. By now the second figure had reached the ground, landing on the Neoshadow that tried to attack the second figure's comrade, making it explode in a cloud of darkness. The second figure swiped the air, summoning a Keyblade. This Keyblade was entirely purple with the exception of the hilt and the small clock at the head of the blade, which were red. After summoning that Keyblade, he put his hands together summoned another Keyblade, an exact replica of the first, out of thin air. "Dual Wind Raid!" the figure shouted, throwing his Keyblades. The swords, as if they had minds of their own, spun through the air striking their targets with ease. One by one, Heartless started to disappear. The 2nd figure caught both of his Keyblades after the last Heartless ceased to exist. As the second figure's Keyblades disappeared, the first figure rematerialized from the various water puddled that were in the alley. "We better get going, Stormslicer." The second figure said, "We've only gotten 2 hours till nightfall, and the others will be waiting for us." "I know," Said Storm, still smiling, "And the more we wait here, the more of a chance of getting caught again." He eyed is companion. "Honestly Etrius, I know the drill." Etrius turned in the direction of the safe house and replied, "We shall see."
Etrius is a character from KH:SOS. His story takes place 11 years back from the events of KH:SOS, and this backstory is a filler for something much bigger. This is NOT part of the KH:SOS thread and this is something that I am doing as part of my free time. Thank you and Enjoy! CHAPTER 1 Age: 5 The Dark Keyblade Army had just returned home after years of bloody, pointless fighting over the light. Everyone was tired and sad, as they had not only witnessed the destruction of there comrades and colleagues, but the destruction of the X-Blade as well, seeing it it shatter into 7 pieces of light which floated to the sky, never to return, and the 13 pieces of darkness, which seeped into the ground. Such an omen was viewed as treacherous, so the leaders, wether light or dark, good or corrupted, made a pact never to return on the condition of war, and returned to their respective homes. One such legion, the legion of pure darkness, untainted by corruption, is where our story begins. Draconine was talking to one of his servants when there was a tiny knock on the door. It wasn't often that he got visitors. "Could you excuse me a moment?" "Yes, your highness." Draconine turned to the door, "Enter!" He commanded. The large door creaked slowly, revealing a small boy, wearing a black cloak. His hair was clean but unkempt, straight but wild. He wore small, wire-rimmed glasses, that perched on his nose. Draconine smiled, knowing that that boy was none other than Etrius, his youngest son. He heard among the boy's teachers that the boy was highly ambitious, always punctual with his work, and always payed attention. Best of all, he seemed to enjoy his classes. "Etrius, my boy, come here you!" Draconine said in a playful voice. Etrius smiled and ran up to his father. Draconine ruffled the boys hair and looked into his son's eyes. They were a pale yellow, much unlike the fathers deep orange. He loved his son very much, but something was off about him. He was pure darkness, but something was missing. Draconine shook his head and asked, "What is it my son?" Etrius said, "There are fighting in the streets again, father, and this one was pretty intense." Draconine groaned, put his son down from his lap and went to a nearby window. Fighting was common on Abraxas but not unheard of. But still, The Lord of Abraxas cannot stop every fight from erupting. He would have to call the Heartless Armors to take care of the situation. "Why do we always fight father? It seems pointless to fight over simple things like taxes or prison disputes. Can't it be settled in a different manner?" Etrius asked. Draconine was taken by surprise at his son's question. True, the people of Abraxas were fighters, but at times, it did seem pointless. "We fight because we have no better way of settling things." Draconine replied, "Because that is our way of life. We can't change who we are all alone, Etrius." He turned to the boy, "But you can change that when you're older." "Well, why can't you change it?" "Because, I'm too old. Even you know this." Draconine sighed. Etrius did know this. His father had gone through a lot. Etrius then smiled, then said, "You'd better not be too old to see me gain my Mark of Mastery then!" Draconine smiled back, saying, "I wouldn't miss it to the world." He snapped his fingers, signaling dismissal. CHAPTER 2 Age:8 There had been a crowd gathered in front of the town square. Etrius sat on a nearby pot eating a golden delicious apple. The ringleader, Marshall, had gathered these people for the third time today, and as far as Etrius knew, this man was bad. He kept on speaking of new diplomacy, and reform. True, this entire city needed reform, but not by protesting 3 times a day, and certainly not by these bunch of vagabonds. Sighing, Etrius threw his apple away, half chewed, and started walking away. "We should overthrow Lord Draconine!" Etrius stopped. He turned, and saw that the entire crowd had stopped chanting, and were now silently looking at a man named Nicholas. This man was known as the grubbiest man in the city, but something like that..... Marshall looked at him and said "Yes! We must! Why? Everyone in this town that this so-called famous leader of ours who's been leading for nearly 50 years, and he still keeps the glory for himself!" Etrius clenched a fist. That wasn't true! Etrius' father established everything from curfews to freedom rights, and he always gave power to the people, they're just too lazy to do anything! Marshall went on, "Do you know what happens if we leave a royal family to rule? We'll die! I mean look around, how many of you do you know of a world ruled by deities?" Literally everyone shook their heads. "That just goes to show that we're living in a dead nation! And besides, they instill too much fear anyway, letting Heartless running around. I mean, who do they think they are?" Etrius patience had just run out. The people of this town were acting immature, and such acts aren't meant to be tolerated. "SHUDUP. JUST SHUT UP!" Etrius shouted. The crowd turned to see the boy wrapped in an unmarked shawl. Typical annoyance. "Get lost boy," Marshall chuckled, "We have diplomatic things to discuss." Etrius cracked his neck under the hood. "The only thing that's diplomatic around here is wether you'll end up in a body bag, or eternal banishment in the Realm of Darkness." Etrius growled. Marshall took two steps backward. Who is this guy? What the hell did he want? Etrius pulled off his hood. "My name is Etriosis Veltran Dio Parilaz," He said, "And you have cursed the royal bloodline, which is punishable by the fullest extent of the law." The crowd snorted and laughed. Through hysterical tears, Marshall said, "Like that matters to us anymore, besides you're too young to do anything. You aren't even old enough to summon guards!" That was also true, and the crowd suddenly looked more menacing, summoning clubs and stones. One such stone sailed through the air, hitting Etrius on his right cheek. As Etrius got up and checked his cheek, he saw Nicholas throwing a stone in the air and catching it. He was laughing, showing only two front teeth. Etrius had never been mad in his entire life. Suddenly the air changed. Everyone felt it. Etrius closed his. The next few moment were hard to describe. Etrius' skin darkened. Dark smoked poured off of his shoulders and hands. His eyes turned from a firm yellow to a hazardous red. And the biggest thing, of all, was that when he put out his hand, a black column of fire materialized a dark red, purple, and black sword. The hilt was shaped in the teeth of a key, and the head shown a clock, set to 12:00. The keychain was the symbol of the Parilaz family crest. Etrius had become a Keyblade-wielding Antiform Heartless. His red eyes scanned the crowd, now afraid of the person who had become a Heartless willingly. But Etrius wasn't a normal Antiform. He suddenly teleported, striking Nicholas in the face with the blade. He never woke up again. The strike itself sounded of a combination of a thunderclap and the gong of a clock. It started to rain. Etrius looked at the crowd again. He ran at the crowd, and all hell broke loose. *********** Draconine was doing his daily rounds patrolling the town with the Heartless Armors, when he came across several destroyed buildings and a few bodies. Pureblood Shadow Heartless wandered around checking the bodies for hearts. He saw Etrius' body lying on the ground. He had blackened out due to major exhaustion. It had been a wonder that Etrius survived, much more that he didn't retain his previous Heartless state. Draconine looked at the boy's newly earned Keyblade, but it wasn't red, purple, and black anymore. It was the standard Kingdom Key, with a simple keychain. Draconine sighed. His son was indeed different, there was no denying it, but Draconine knew that his son shouldn't know, otherwise, Etrius would have fears for himself. As Draconine carried his son to the boy's sleeping quarters, he vowed to keep quiet about the fiasco for the sake of the city and for the sake of Etrius' destiny. CHAPTER 3 Age: 10 Etrius had arrived at the Audience Chamber, just as his father and mother told him to do, after he was done with his studies. It wasn't often his family had gotten visits, considering all the royal duties. There had been multiple riots in the city, and crowd control was getting harder to maintain. Surprisingly, Etrius was sent for those mishaps, being strictly ordered to 'calm the crowd' and not 'extinguish'. There also had been reports of other worlds falling to Darkness. Those reports state that the the Heartless in particular, lead these major attacks. That being said, tension in the city rose to a high point. Draconine and Dementia had been known by other people for their warrior spirit, but also known to 'tame' the Heartless. They did this by displaying strength, and iron will, but they never struck one down. Soon, dead Keyblade weilder's armor manifested into Heartless, bearing the Keyblades themselves. They were soon known as the Heartless Armor Corps, serving as the royal guards of the Abraxas Fortress, where Etrius and his family lived. All in all, people were now scared to death by the Heartless, townspeople even slew mere Shadows on sight. Only the Armor Corps remained loyal and silent. Etrius walked down the hall in his standard cloak, black and unmarked. Two Armors stood on either sides of the large wooden doors leading to the Audience Chamber. At the sight of Etrius, one of the Armors bowed low, but the other gave the slight signal of a salute. Occasionally, Some of the Armors didn't exactly respect some of the royal family, as there were many guarding it, but this particular case, that was normal. All Heartless Armors somehow are able to develop a conscience in most cases. Etrius closed the door behind him and turned. There sitting on two thrones entirely of iron, were Draconine and Dementia Parilaz, Etrius' father and mother. Etrius' brother and sister weren't here, which Etrius expected. They were both out on an outing, checking the Heartless population no doubt. As Etrius entered the room, his mother said, "Quick, my child, get into position. Our visitors will arrive any moment." Etrius did exactly so, just as he heard a knock on the door. "Enter!" Ordered Draconine, straightening in his throne. Two figures entered. One of them was an old man in his late-70s, half hunched over. He was balding and his cloak was opened, revealing a white dress shirt and dark black boots. The most astonishing part, was his face. The man had pale yellow eyes, exactly like Etrius', only strangely colder. He wore a smile that suggested to Etrius that this man had a lot of pride under his belt. The second figure wore a red and black muscular suit. His body build looked masculine, looked 17. He wore a mask that was reflective. The boy looked at him and said, "What're you lookin at?" The older man frowned at the boy. "Don't be rude, Vanitas, this boy is obviously of royal blood, show him some respect!" Said he. "Looks more like a shrimp to me," replied the boy, but he fell silent under the old man's glare. The old man turned to Etrius' father "Draconine, how are you?" The man asked warmly. Draconine frowned in return and said, "Xehanort, it's been too long." --- Double Post Merged, Wednesday at 4:34 PM --- CHAPTER 4 Xehanort walked quietly into the room, Vanitas following close behind. Xehanort looked at one of the Armors guarding the room, and held out his hand, summoning his Keyblade. As the Keyblade materialized, the blade was at the chin of that Armor. The Armor remained slack and not moving. Xehanort, blade still at the neck, said to Draconine, "My, my Draconine, these dark creatures are marvalous by my standards! These Heartless somehow managed to merge in with fallen Keyblade weilders armor! What do you call these creatures?" "We call them Heartless Armor, since they are embodiments of darkness, yet they are able to wield the Keyblade." Draconine responded. Xehanort looked back at the Armor, then let his Keyblade disappear. "I am quite interested in these new beings, but I am more interested in a bigger purpose." Xehanort said, sounding more serious, "I have a way to bring back the X-Blade." Dementia spit out the tea that she was drinking and coughed. Etrius' jaw lowered slightly in disbelief. Bring back the X-Blade? Impossible. Xehanort smiled at Etrius. "The X-Blade isn't impossible to reforge," said he, as if reading the family's thoughts, "It just takes tedious measures." He gestured to Vanitas, "This boy here is purely darkness. If I make him clash with a Keyblader who is purely of light, and they fight to the death, they have a chance of forging the X-Blade." Draconine stood. This was completely inhumane. More to the point, was he asking to give him one of their own?? Xehanort continued, "I'm not asking for your offspring, because they are also darkness. They are of no interest to me. What I am interested in is you and your family helping me conquer the power. If the light and darkness successfully forge the Blade, I might be too weak to harness it's power. You, Draconine, on the other hand, have much strength under your belt. Help me conquer the X-Blade. Together, we can bring the light back to where it belongs." By now, the entire Parilaz family was troubled. Draconine was sitting on his throne, thinking deeply. Dementia was looking frantically between her husband and Xehanort. Etruis was seething. He did not like this Xehanort character. Not one bit. Draconine suddenly stood again, grabbing the attention of everyone in the room. In all his years, Draconine won many battles, and was respected by many people. He may have had the power of darkness at his side since birth, but that didn't make him a tyrant. "Leave this place Xehanort," Draconine said, his voice like a low thunderclap, summoning his Keyblade, "And never return. For years Xehanort, you've been chasing blind fantasies of greatness, and in the process hurt many people. Never talk about this to anyone, or you'll doom the entire universe as we know it to dark abyss that we will never climb out." Etrius thought he saw a flash of anger in those yellow eyes, but it disappeared as quickly as it came. Xehanort lowered his head and turned. But before he left, Xehanort said, "You are the fool here Draconine. These opprotunities never come easy. You are making a very FATAL mistake." And he walked out, just like that. "What he said." Vanitas added, laughing and following out. It was a high mocking laughter. CHAPTER 5 Age: 12 A large increase of Emblem Heartless had started appearing. This was bad, explaining how many people started to disappear on Abraxas. Etrius now was working full time around the castle. If it wasn't his studies, he had to constantly settle increasing riots, 2 of which had gotten out of hand and ended in a small 5-night brawls, three other riots of which Heartless attacked. It was now that the entire Parilaz family started giving Purebloods second glances. The Heartless Armor Corps were authorized to take care of the incoming enemies and riots if any were to attack the castle. Etrius had already woken up and finished grooming himself, and was now going to the Audience Chamber to receive his daily agenda from his father. As he came down one of the Armors got in front of him. Etrius was about to summon his Keyblade, but the Armor didn't summon it's Keyblade. Instead, it lowered its head, and Etrius heard a low groan and a grinding coming from the metal soldier, and to Etrius' astonishment, he somehow understood what it was saying. "Be careful, my liege," The Armor groaned, "I sense an oncoming storm. Our world will be devoured by the corruption that this world produces, and Heartless will run free to do as they please." Etrius was annoyed. He had to settle 6 riots the other day, and his Keyblade lessons were getting harder and harder. "Why should I listen to you?" He retorted, "Your nothing but a damned soul in a fallen warrior's armor. For all I know and all I could care, you might just be spies for our enemies!" He rushed passed as the Armor returned to its post. He walked through the door to find his father, eyes closed in thought. Draconine reopened his eyes, and smiled wearily at his son. "Good morning Etrius." He said. "The increased work is getting to him too." Etrius thought in pity. He walked up to the throne, bowed in respect, then stepped back. "You've been up all night again, haven't you?" Etrius said, voice quiet but obviously scolding. Draconine straightened in his throne. "Yes, I have. I'm just worried on how things started to turn out. Our world is falling apart, Etrius." Then something crossed his mind. "Come here, I have a gift for you." Etrius smiled, ran up to his father and sat on his lap. Draconine reached into his shirt, and pulled out a necklace. It was shaped in a 4-point star, and it shined in the dim light of the rising sun just outside the window. It looked like a simple keepsake object, but Etrius felt a faint power from within. "In a time of great crisis, my father gave me this object in order to protect the throne." Draconine said, "This is no ordinary necklace, Etrius. Instead, this thing has the power of bringing out the inner state of the mind, whether its forgotten memories, inner power, or a much greater purpose." He held it out to Etrius, "This works only for the Parilaz bloodline, and in times of great danger, this coveted object shall give you the strength to survive." As Etrius touched the necklace, his eyes suddenly flashed red, startling his father. Inside Etrius' mind, his memories shown of the events of when he had gained his Keyblade. He saw himself turned into an Antiform, and his Keyblade was entirely different. As Etrius watched himself attack an entire crowd, the memory stopped, and he was back in the Audience Chamber, on his father's lap. He looked at his father and asked, "What happened when I was 8?" Draconine flinched at the statement. He knew this day would come, though he dreaded to tell his youngest son, fearing that if Etrius knew the truth, he would see himself differently. "You were angry." Draconine said slowly, telling the caged truth, "It was a rouge crowd, talking against me. But you fought them. And whats more, you succeeded. I was actually surprised that you would gain your Keyblade out of shear anger. The point is Etrius, you aren't a monster if that's what you're thinking. You are a special child, and you have so much potential." Etrius smirked at the last comment, "I bet you said that to Maultin all the time when he was young." Draconine gave a look of mock surprise, "Not true!" After the two laughed for a few seconds, they were interrupted by a banging at the door. Suddenly it flew open, a Heartless Armor flew out the door and skidded to the floor at the foot of the throne. A Large Body Heartless waddled in with a few Knight Heartless. Instantly, Etrius launched from his father's lap and landed on the floor in front of the fallen Armor. The necklace was draped around his neck, hanging freely from his vest. He held out his palm and summoned his Keyblade. He was planning to hold it fronthand, but something told him "No." Etrius spun his Keyblade, and held it back handed. It felt good, actually. Then, after 5 seconds, Etrius jumped back and slashed at the Knights, attacking in a manner similiar to a Fever Pitch. Draconine watched his son striking left and right, taking out all the Knights in the room, and extinguished any that tried to get in. Draconine brought out his Keyblade and jumped high in the air, stabbing downward at the Large Body, which was having a hard time keeping up with a quick footed Etrius. The Emblem Heartless exploded in a splash of darkness, releasing a large heart. The doors opened, revealing Maultin, Etrius' older brother. Draconine ran to Maultin and hugged him, thankful he was all right. When he was done, he asked, "Where is your mother and sister Maultin?" "Outside in the Courtyard, defending the castle with a few Purebloods and Armors. It seems like the Emblem Heartless are focusing on the Fortress. This must be one of the major attacks we heard of." Maultin replied quickly. Draconine stretched his back, muttering under his breath, "I'm getting too old for this." Then he ordered, "Very well. Maultin, you come with me and help with keeping the Heartless back." They were about to leave, when Etrius said, "What about me?" Draconine turned and kneeled to Etrius' height. "I want you to alert the other Armors in the entire Fortress and order them to go to the Courtyard. Any Shadows you find, tell them to follow suit. After that, I want you to escape from here." "What??!! No father, I will not-" "Don't argue with me Etrius." He turned to Maultin and signaled him to get going. After Maultin left, Draconine said more intensely, "There is something that these Heartless want. You hold to the key to it now. That's why you need to leave. There is a place, called the Land of Departure. I want you to go there and stay there till I arrive." Etrius did not want his father to leave him. But what choice did he have? A tear slid down one of Etrius cheeks, and hugged his father, and took off out of the room. That was the last time he would hold his father. CHAPTER 6 Etrius ran around the Fortress, alerting all Armors and Purebloods. The situation was getting worse. Etrius' family was not only having to beat back hundreds of Emblem Heartless, but a wave of blue creatures as well. As Etrius entered the cellar and alerted the last of the Armors, down the cellar hall, past the many wine kegs, stood a statue. Etrius had seen this statue many times but never really payed much attention to it. Now, however, he looked at it more closely. The statue was that of a Keyblade Wielder in his armor bound in chains, shackled from his wrists, criss-crossing his torso, all the way down to the ankles. The statue's build was very buff, and the helmet was in the shape of a pyramid, and the horns looked ragged and curled upwards. The statue knelt in front of an incredibly large and heavy looking blade, a blade that couldn't be held by an ordinary man. The statue sat on top of a pedestal holding all of the details that Etrius had failed to look at for so many years. The strangest thing was that at the front of the pedestal shown a small indent of a 4-point star, exactly the shape of the necklace that Etrius had been given from his father. He was about to take the necklace off when a armored glove grabbed his arm. Etrius turned, face-to-face with another Armor. This Armor's body was feminine, of a teenager, about Etrius' age. It's helmet was normal, and the horns curled backward. It was Aileen, one of the Armors Etrius "befriended". Now, Etrius saw it nothing more than an abomination. However, the Armor's hand tugged more urgently at his arm, groaning "My liege, you must leave this place! The rest of the Armors are becoming overpowered by the endless waves of enemies!" Etrius snorted. "I have nothing to say to you." He scoffed, "Why should you, a shadowed heart inside the body of a fallen warrior, care about my well being?" The Armor made a scratching noise, sounding a lot like laughter, then grunted stubbornly "Because you were lonely during your studies and you needed someone to talk to, and I was the only to even have the heart to talk to you." Etrius raised his eyebrows. He already had known from his father that Armors were able to develop a conscience, but this was entirely different, not to mention insane. He remembered talking to this purple-gray piece of metal to find a fast relief out of his studies and BAM! The Armor became Etrius' closest advisor besides his father, and only friend among the Fortress of oddball Heartless. And it was that very piece of metal, besides Etrius' family, that Etrius cared about and talked to. Etrius shook his head, cleared his thoughts thinking of a way out. He knew that transportation was limited for him. He knew he couldn't use a Keyblade Glider, because he didn't have the ability to, and mere, raw teleportation that his family could do with ease was out of the question. "Come," hissed Aileen, sounding more agitated, "To the Tower. That is the only place the other Heartless haven't touched, and you may be able to utilize a Dark Pathway." "But that's too dangerous!" Etrius exclaimed as Aileen dragged him along the stone steps, "I might end up bringing in more Heartless into the Fortress." "We don't have a choice." Aileen groaned, "That's the only thing you can do to escape, and I can't utilize my Keyblade as a Glider. Suddenly, 5 white creatures appeared. Their appearance looked more horrendous than the Heartless themselves. Their appearance was humanoid, but very deformed and skinny. They had big heads, and a zipper ran across each of their mouths and torsos. Their hands were long and skinny, and were collared. They moved like they were elastic, and stretched as if no pain came. Aileen immediately summoned her Keyblade, let go of Etrius and slashed through one of them, making them explode in a burst of light. What followed was one of the most difficult fights Etrius had ever done in his life. He hacked and whacked at 2 of them no problem, but the other 2 kept moving and stepping out of the way of Etrius' lunges. One smacked Etrius straight in the face, making him fall. Fortunately, he recovered quickly, and attacked. As the creature got ready to jump in the air, Etrius quickly slid sideways and jabbed the monster from behind, killing it. "Nice one." Aileen grunted as she took out the last one. She took off up more flights of stairs. Etrius followed. As the duo made it to the last set of stairs, Aileen suddenly exclaimed, "What's going on over there?" Etrius looked to where Aileen pointed. He saw 5 figures among thousand of Emblem Heartless in a large circle. One of the figures was the masked boy, and the others were his family. "Oh no." Barely escaped Etrius' lips as he saw the masked boy's Keyblade slashed through his brother and sister. Etrius' cranium screamed in pain and reeled. This was not happening. This couldn't be. A tear fell down Etrius' cheek, followed by another spasm of pain came as soon as the blade felled Etrius' mother. Draconine, battle-tired and sad, seeing his entire family killed off by one individual, looked up at the tower. Etrius locked eyes with his father, one last knowing reunion. Draconine smiled a sad smile, knowing his boy was alright, just as the blade went through his chest. At the same time, Etrius' mind did a last jolt of agony, then gave way to bitter saddness and anger. Aileen knelt next to Etrius' and hugged him tightly, whispering "I'm sorry." over and over again. After what seemed like an eternity, Etrius stood, Aileen supporting him, and walked the rest of the way in a possessed silence. The room was completely empty, just as Aileen had said. Etrius took Aileen's arm off his waist and threw out a hand. A black portal materialized out of nothing. Etrius turned to Aileen, eyes solemn. "I need you to do me one last favor." Etrius said quietly. "What is it?' was the reply. "I want you to guard this place, or whatever is left of it with your life," As Etrius said that command, it sounded like two voices speaking in unison, his eyes momentarily flashing red. His blank black cloak suddenly started showing red and purple streaks. The Parilaz family logo also appeared on his cloak, "I will kill my family's murder, and return to restart my family's name." The Armor nodded. "At least you'll have something to look forward to when you return." It replied. Etrius had another vision, this one showing a girl Etrius' age, with storm-grey eyes and short black hair. Etrius opened his eyes, and he understood. He turned back to the portal, saying, "Good-bye Aileen." As the portal closed, Aileen turned towards the doorway, summoned her Keyblade, and shoved it into the ground in front of her, kneeling in front of it, giving one last reply, "Good-bye, and be safe. I shall miss your heart and mind." END OF BACKSTORY
Here, you can post your favorite them from any KH game in the series[DOUBLEPOST=1359908304][/DOUBLEPOST]For one, I've always liked Dark Impetus, from KH:BbS. But after KH3D came out and when I turned 15, my favorite theme became L'Impeto Oscuro
Hello everyone. The day that I write this is 1/18/13, I am currently a new user to forums so I'm starting off with a roleplay thread. So, here is where you can bring in any character from Square Enix, or create your own! Rules for creating characters: 1. No Godmodding. Simply put it, all characters will be powerful to a certain extent. 2. Each person controls there own player according to the story. I personally will control my characters and the story, but the choices that your character makes, IS ENTIRELY ON YOU! 3. You must display character Name, two Powers, Race, Side, History , Weapon, Weapon Name, Home World, and Age. 4. Make sure you check in daily. Your stats for each character (Munny, Lvl, etc.) will stay the same, but the storyline might continue without you. 5. The storyline will be highlighted in green.
