The enigmatic figure walked in complete silence. His footsteps made no noise as they hit the hard floor. He could feel the changes that his presence brought to this castle; it was dying all over him. This would be easy, fun at best. The inhabitants of Castle Oblivion would probably already be feeling the effects of his presence. "They do not deserve existance..." His voice was a whisper laced with venom and ice. He continued his silent intrusion of this castle that seemed so unworthy to him, so inferior and disgusting. He could sense the laughter that had passed through it in the past, the happiness and love... and he wanted to gag. "But not to worry. The Darkness shall creep back into these infested walls and with it I shall clense this place." A twisted smile broke across his face. His orange eyes gleamed. First, I shall find THAT one... and slowly destroy all trace off light within her. He turned the corner shrouded in darkness. ************************************ Vexen continued her walk in silence. She wanted to find someone to talk to... or maybe go to that garden she had visited before. She needed warmth. As her hair brushed against her cheek, a ripple of coldness ran throughout her veins. She stopped. She had felt something awfully familiar to that sensation before... when she had feinted not so long ago. She was scared.

http://www.acrosstheuniverse.com/ A new musical that premieres September 28th. It takes place in the 60s during/before the Vietnam war, and the visuals in this film are AMAZING! It definitely seems very different from any other musical I have ever seen! I think its my most anticipated movie of the year, next to "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix." Check it out with the link above! Summary taken from IMDB: An original musical film, Across The Universe is a fictional love story set in the 1960s amid the turbulent years of anti-war protest, the struggle for free speech and civil rights, mind exploration and rock and roll. At once gritty, whimsical and highly theatrical, the story moves from high schools and universities in Massachusetts, Princeton and Ohio to the Lower East Side of Manhattan, the Detroit riots, Vietnam and the dockyards of Liverpool. A combination of live action and painted and three-dimensional animation, the film is paired with many Beatles songs that defined the time.

the beatles- across the universe
i had to quote this because i believe it pretty much states all that needs to be said in respect to this topic. if i could put my feeling and thoughts into words better, than that is exactly what i would be saying! here, here, Repliku!
i personally like the pictures in 1 and 3 (3 more so), but i think that 2 seems to create more of a personality and seems more personal. i woudl choose 2 cause its more unique.
Vexen sighed, tired after her hard work. She looked before her to the paper she had just finished drawing on. Staring back at her was the old Vexen, still a woman but with blonde hair. To this drawn Vexen's right stood Roxas, and to its left, Marluxia. She missed both of these nobodies, but most of all Marluxia, whom she had not seen in a very long time. The amateur drawing seemed like a glimpse of a life long lost. Vexen found herself so changed as of late, unable to talk to Roxas as freely as she always had been, and not even aware of the pink haired flower's whereabouts. Vexen stood, ran her hand through her long white hair, realizing how long it had grown. She folded up the drawing and placed it in her pocket. She wanted to hold on to that life she felt was slipping away from her. She put up all the materials she had used and walked out of the pristine white room. She knew she could come back and find it again whenever she felt the need to be at peace. The nobody walked on in silence. ****************************** The front doors opened to Castle Oblivion, their size befitting the grandeur (sp?) of a castle. A figure stepped in. He felt disgust invade every part of his body as the aura of the place engulfed him. There was something very close to love and friendship in this castle, and it was making him sick. He knew nobody would sense him walk in; he made sure of it by shielding his intense powerful aura. He wanted to find the inhabitants of this place by surprise. He wanted to torture these peopel. He wanted to kill them... ****************************** OoC: Happy Birthday Jack!!!
i really like voldemort in this picture, although i think harry needs quite a bit of work. and i think you could work on your shading. still, you captured vodlemort really well. i love this scene in the movie! EDIT oh yeah, and i give it a 3/5. nice work.
Vexen had been wandering the halls for a while, her thoughts overtaking her. She had not paid attention to where she had gone and when she finally looked up she found herself face to face with a door that she had never seen before. She knew that this castle was enchanted so she was not surprised to find something new, even after all her years living in the castle. "I wonder where you lead to?" The white haired woman turned the doorknob... ...and found herself in a startlingly white room. The air inside it was cold, but somehow Vexen felt this inner warmth swim through her upon entering. Scattered throughout the room were various papers, and upon closer inspection Vexen realized that all these were drawn on with various curious people. On the long, white table in the middle of the room was a sketch pad, and beside it were colored pencils. "Is this some sort of art room?" Vexen inspected many of the drawings, and then she sat in front of the sketch pad and opened it. She had never drawn before; it might be fun if she gave it a try. ****************************** Outside a very large castle stood a lone figure covered in icy white hair, its gleaming orange eyes cold and evil. They looked to the building before them, and upon the stranger's face was a wicked smirk. I found you... and your friends.... The figure took a step toward Castle Oblivion.
Vexen had finished her fresh tasting sandwich and felt the hole in her stomach settle down. She hadn't realized how long it had been since she had eaten a decent meal. The woman yawned, running her frail hands through her silky, white hair. She stood and walked out into the hall. The castle had been very quiet as of late, especially after all the crazy commotion only a few weeks ago... Marluxia, whom Vexen had not seen in a very long time and was a little afraid to meet again, had gone completely insane a while ago; Vexen had never found out what was wrong with her, nor if the flower child had come back to her senses. Vexen stopped dead in her tracks as she remembered about those few members who had recently been minituarized. So much had happened before she had blacked out, and she had no idea how these things concluded. The only thing she did know was that Roxas was alive and more or less well, and that Axel and Demyx were engaged. Vexen rubbed her head. This place never seemed dull. She walked through the halls without anywhere specific to go; she figured that if she just kept going, something or someone would interupt her silence. She was, afterall, in Castle Oblivion. When did things ever stay quiet for long here? ************************ OoC: I'm glad to see this place more active! Your welcome, PoH! S&S was fun and when I come back for Christmas break we will be spending 24 hours there!
wow, the movie was amazing! i liked the balance this movie had between following the book and taking things in a more cinematic direction. the directing was amazing! and so were ALL of the performances! i have to say that this is one of my favorites! i do agree that the movie was a bit rushed at the beginning, but i think that everything else was handled superbly! loved this movie and i would definitely recommend every harry potter fan to see it! also, i think that sirius's death reached beyond my expectations! it totally shocked me, even though i was expecting it! AWESOME!!
