@member13fan: I love to RP! In fact, I'm making a Final Fantasy XII text-based RPG. It's based on DnD and has a lot of the same aspects, (races, classes, and such). I also drew a lot of inspiration from MapleStory, and Free2Play MMORPG, for the classes' and abilities' systems... I'm always welcoming help with it, too! Wow, has it really been a year, already? O_O Well, even though I haven't been following it very much, (or anything KHV, for that matter), I must say that I'm a little saddened by this turn of events. I had it in mind to watch all of the dubs when the game came out, but I guess I'll see them now. If your worries about how the VAs will sound in the game are accurate, then I want to make the most out of what you guys have done... I've tried all of the party mods, but none of them work. I hit the joker, (R+L), and it doesn't change a thing. I used POKESAV to generate my own code, but it was too long. When I divided each party member into separate codes, it froze when I hit the joker. Any ideas as to why this is not working? I'm using the DeSmuME emulator with an English ROM. On the subject of syncing the character's lips to the English cast, that would result in the game coming out in a YEAR or two. They would have to rip all of the models out of the game, tweak the lips and possibly some body language, and put them back in. They would have to do all of this WITHOUT screwing up the flow of the game. Thus, a N.A. release would take FOR-EFFING-EVER. Ahem... Anyway... Great bit of news, there, Mike! Can't wait to see/hear some more! Although, as I haven't been very good with ANY of the Kingdom Hearts battle systems, I would actually prefer the bosses to be the same difficulty as the Japanese version, if not EASIER! Oh, well. That's the exact one that I used. I checked out the FAQ on here and saw that little "rule" about type-9 Master codes. And if you mean the XXXX-XXXX-XXXX format for AR, then no, it doesn't. It can only use 0-9, A-F. I'll check out Omniconvert and see what I can convert it to and try that. If they work... Then yays! Yeah, I checked to make sure that they were NTSC, and they didn't say that they were PAL, so... I'll edit this post with the results of the test. I'll do exactly what you suggested: Master code with Max HP. - D... EDIT: It BSOD'd before it loaded the game, at all. I tried using just Inf. HP and the Master code, and it did the same thing. I'm starting to think that SwapMagic is NOT the way to go. It's just too damn picky when it comes to ANY code... Thanks for the help, though! Now, I'm gonna have to dig around and find my CodeBreaker and PRAY that it actually WORKS this time... Slight problem here... I can't seem to get ANY of these to work on my SwapMagic Coder. I put in both Master Codes, (since it doesn't automatically turn them on), and tried the other codes with first one of them on, then the other. Neither worked. I'm going to try converting them to RAW format and see if that works, but I'm pretty sure their already in RAW... To be specific, I turn on the codes, swap out the discs, then try to load my file at "Awakening." When I hit X on the file, it makes the sound like it's loading, but freezes, showing the title screen. The music stops and I can't do anything with it. I tried doing a soft reset, (holding down Start, Select, and the L's and R's), but it stayed frozen. If converting them to RAW doesn't work, could someone lend me a hand in getting these to work? Here's the codes that I used... Both Master codes, (one at a time). Inf. HP/MP Max HP/MP Ability Mods for all 48 slots. Have all Item slots. Solo Boss Stats modded up to max, (FFFF and FF). All Paths Unlocked. No Donald and Goofy. Max AP. Music Mod. Have All Keyblades. Fly Everywhere. Additionally, I would like the Inventory Mod so that I can add certain items to my Inventory, (like all the "Arts" items and the "Torn Page" items)... Thanks in advance! - D... EDIT: So, the Master code was already in RAW, most likely, as this time, it BSOD'd without even loading the game. I have no idea what's wrong, so I'm going to re-check the codes and make sure I didn't put in a PAL code somewhere or something stupid like that...
Got a quick question for y'all... I tried using the Boss Stats Mod to make an Sephiroth who has REALLY high stats. Then, I was going to replace Donald and Goofy with Cloud and Tifa allies. Thing is, I realized that the allies/partners don't do that much damage to bosses, let alone Sephiroth. Plus, the Boss Stats Mod didn't work! It didn't change anything, at all, and sometimes crashed the game whenever Sephiroth was supposed to be on-screen. So, I tried using it on other bosses. The same thing happened: it either didn't work or it crashed when they appeared. So, there are two things that I want to ask... 1.) Is there a way to make your allies/parnters, (Cloud, Tifa, Leon, Axel, etc.), stronger AND have depletable HP? -and- 2.) How do I use the Boss Stats Mod? Or can someone make up a code for making Sephiroth really strong and post it? Although, an explanation would be better... Thanks! - D... PS: Although, if I can figure out the Boss Stats Mod, I can probably make Cloud and Tifa attack Sephiroth by using their boss versions and by making Sephy take Sora's or an ally's role with the Role Mod... I'll have to see which one works better...
