"Perfect..." Twilight sighed. "I'm not the best with riddles and such but im definatly not the worst."
Matt nodded. 'None yet at least...' He pushed through a prickly bush and gasped as he caught sight of the large waterfall before them, gushing over rocks into a clear pool of water.
Dawn sat by a little pond in town near the park, feeding the ducks.
Dawn sighed, knowing they could argue about this all day so she gave in. "Fine. But I get to pay for the tip." She lay three dollars on the table and smiled at him cheerfully. She noticed a clock on the wall. "Oh shoot. I have an essay to write for English class. I gotta go. See ya around." She waved to him, running outside with a smile on her face. 'Jake...'
Dawn shook her head. "Please. I can pay. I don't mind at all."
"Fine then." She scratched her chin. Looking at a large stone wall in front of them where ruins were carved. "I think it's a riddle." She pointed at the word in english above the door that read RIDDLE. She giggled. "Do you have anyclue what it says?"
Matt sighed. "I know...but...i've never seen an animal like this before. It's so inteligant and..." He shuddered, cutting a path in the foliage with his switchblade. ooc: leaving soon but ill be back later.
"I bet I would." She smiled brightly, pulling a ten dollar bill from her pocket and putting it on the table to pay for their meal. ooc: I have to leave soon but ill be back a little latr.
"Laugh now, Jake. It's only a matter of time before you actually have to....shudder...eat there." She smiled at him, sipping at her coke.
Twilight laughed. "Well I like your sneaky side. You didn't tell me to protect me. I think saving my life levels out the fact that you had to stall for a few moments."
Matt cast a glance behind them and swore he saw something rush behind a tree. "Let's go..."
"It definatly could be better. Sometimes the food looks like it came from some sort of horror movie. Like the bagel that bites back or something."
Matt squeezed his pocketknife in his pocket, having it ready and open. He was about to ask if they should head back when he heard water gushing ahead. "Here that?" He asked, looking up at Clarisse.
Dawn ordered a salad and fish. She wasn't all too big on meat. It was just enough and she also got a medium coke. Dawn smiled. "I much prefer this place than that cafeteria."
ooc: Clarisse and Matt are searching the island and there is something following them.
"Tell me how that is evil, Gharanth. I think it's good that you did so."
"Oh man...that's aweful...i'm so sorry..."
"Good. I don't really want to catch it, whatever it is." He swallowed, trying to keep a steady pace forward without looking suspitious to the creature.
She went red. "I wouldn't have been able to get through without you there." She mumbled, tucking a strand of hair behind her ear.
Matt looked over at her, a little shocked. "You feel it too?" He asked. "I'm not imagining it?"
