Jayz looked up at Rella. He knew he'd seen her before. He knew those eyes. "Do I...know you...?"
Twilight nodded, still anxious to know what Gharanth was up to. She couldn't wait till after they got to the elemental warrior temple. ooc: how far are they from the temple?
Matt nodded with a weak smile. "Thanks, miss Dubois." He went to the fire and slumped down next to it, eyes half closed.
"It's hard to tell what you're up to, Gharanth." Twilight said with a wink.
"Yeah..." Jayz ran a hand through his unruley hair. It was still wet. "It's me."
Jayz came closer to the river, spotting two girls. He made sure neither was human. He couldn't smell it anyways, before comming closer. "Hey."
Twilight smiled back at him, she wondered what was going on inside that head of his, what he was thinking. She'd just have to wait.
ooc: ill be right back.
Matt ran his arm over his eyes. "I'm alright. Seriously. It's my job. You're a passenger on this...journey. We're suppose to take care of you while you relax. Not the other way around, miss." ooc: ill be right back.
Jayz left the very edge of the lake, still dripping wet from his swim, and headed into the woods to find something to do.
Off definatly. I have to share a room with a few of my littler brothers though and they sleep with them on so that blows. I get up after they fall asleep but before I even get to the switch, they all sit up and tell me to leave it on. It's kinda creapy actually. Like motion sensers or something.
Jayz knew someone was out there, watching him. He could feel the eyes on him, but he didn't want to scare whoever...or whatever...it was. He stayed put.
Jayz stood up, looking into the trees. "Hello?" He grabbed his shirt, pulling it back on. "Anyone out there?"
Jayz pulled himself out of the water, dripping wet. He shook his hair out laying on the shore staring up at the sky. He was slightly aware of someone's precence but didn't have the guts to confront whoever it was. They could come if they liked or leave if they wanted. It wasn't up to him.
Jayz let himself sink to the bottum of the lake for a moment, just sitting there in the cool water. Then he kicked back up to the surface.
Bella stayed with Matt, letting him lead the way.
Jayz stood from his rock, pulling his shirt up over his head and diving into the lake to give him something to do.
The captain ordered a few of the crew to go out into the shallows and catch fish for the cook who had survived in their life-boat. He was uncertain where the other life boats had docked and a group would be searching the island for them later. Matt was exhausted. He hadn't slept in who knows how long, but he still had work to do. He still had passengers to take care of. He stumbled around near the edge of the forest, looking for dry fire wood.
Matt saw a small trickle of water when he dug the toe of his boot into the soft soil. Water... and close. He looked towards the camp. He would only be gone for a moment to find the stream and he'd be back. No problem...
Matt was surprised at her swiftness. She wasn't bad for someone who had probably just been pampered all her life. He touched the tree bark and scuffed his toe in the dirt, searching for a sorce of water nearby.
