That would be awesome. English-i-fying the cards themselves would be too difficult either, I'd imagine. Anyway, my move! Draw Phase: Hand: 6 LP: 6800 Standby Phase: During my standby phase, thanks to my new dragons effect, I can summon him back since I have no monsters on my field. So come on back, Totem Dragon! And with your Mirage of Nightmare, You're allowed to draw 4 cards to bring your hand size up to 4. Main Phase 1: Now, withe my Dragon's ability, I can count him as two tributes for the summon of a Dragon type, so arise... BLUE EYES WHITE DRAGON! Battle Phase: Now Blue Eyes! Attack his Power Gladiator with WHITE LIGHTNING! Due to Power Gladiator's effect, you can draw another card, lose 700 Life Points, and I end the battle phase. Main Phase 2: I'm playing two face-downs: And that'll do for my turn. End Phase: Hand: 3 LP: 6800 Field:
Hmm, interesting cards. Never seen 'em before, so call this one hell of a trial by fire. You destroy... my Masked Dragon, whose destruction allows me to summon up another dragon... my Totem Dragon, in Defense mode (because I don't know how to change the picture to reflect that). Also, would you mind posting the ATK/DEF values of your Wonder Magician? However, I lose 1200 Life points, but a necessary loss. LP: 6800
Argh, no chain. I never see Trunade coming. Hand: 5
Right, sorry. used to not really having to in real duels. Shall I edit that or re-post it? And no, no chains. Procede
Ok, back into character. If I make any mistakes, point 'em out please... I'm still new here. Let's DUEL! Draw Phase - Hand:6 Standby Phase - Main Phase 1 - I'll start off with a field spell: Mausoleum of the Emperor! Then I'll play a couple of face downs...: ... and play a monster face down And that'll end my turn. Do your worst. End Phase - Hand: 2 LP: 8000 Field: (Am I doing it right?)
Alright Zeonark, I'll accept your challenge. I'll show you how we duel in Britain.
What if I'm being smug? I'm too rich to go without being smug! Well, I'm not one to brag, but the only competitive tournament I attended I came rock-bottom, but that was 3 years ago, so I think i've improved since them.
Excellent. Just to clarify, I have read the rules on Page 1, so no need to give me the spiel, if that's how things work around here.
If he's not taken, I'll be Seto Kaiba if that's cool.
How did I not discover this place before? Shows me for avoiding the spam zone. Uh, hey, whoever's around, how I sign up, dudes?
The Room is a pretty good contender. Seriously, the goofy acting, horrible writing and idiotic plot combine to make a fantastically awful piece of **** of a Movie. YOU ARE TEARING ME APART, LISA! Aside from that, and I know I'm gonna get flak for this, but Avatar. The James Cameron one. I will admit that I utterly hate the movie, but I can't help but laugh at it every time I watch. Maybe it's just my inner critic popping up, but I just can't help myself. I was almost rolling when I see an 10-foot intergalactic Smurf clone having a KNIFE FIGHT with a Metal-Gear Iron Man Super suit piloted by Uncle Sam. That and the villain is the dumbest, most absolutely idiotic badass I have ever had the displeasure to witness. He's just sitting up there, drinkin' his cuppa joe while his stormtrooper go raze a few sacred trees. It's an odd position to be in whn you love a villains actions but hate his motivations or personality (Or in the case of this movie, the lack thereof). I hate this movie, but yet I'm compelled to watch it just for laughs.
Xigbar said he heard a voice. Just because he didn't say whose voice it was doesn't mean it couldn't have been Aqua's. Common belief is that it was Aqua's Lingering Sentiment talking to Xemnas. Aqua doesn't have knowledge of these conversations because she's not communicating through the Armour. The Armour communicates of its own volition. Considering we know even less about the MF, I seriously doubt that. Why would Xemnas say hello to his friend, the armour, then begin talking to a mysterious cloaked man who looks very smilar to him? Xehanort wasn't working alone and we know it. Braig, anyone?
I'd also like to point out that we have probably already killed Lea's Heartless, the same as we have probably killed Braig's. Of course there is a chance we haven't, as there are MILLIONS of heartless in the world. Lea didn't seem to have much darkness in him when we saw him in BbS, so if he turned Heartless (Something I have my own little theory on), he'd likely become something puny like a Shadow, maybe a Neoshadow at best. And if anyone says that he's Volcanic Lord I'm gonna be pissed.
To think that the worst pop-culture phenomenon in the last few decades gets one of the worst studios in the industry to work on a film making fun of it.
So long as it contains more robots fighting each other than squishy humans talking and trying to develop an uninteresting plot, I'll probably end up watching it. That, and Michael Bay really needs to sack whoever wrote the "Humour" in the second film... actaully, the whole film was pretty crap, so hopefully he's just gotten a new writer altogether.
That's very possible, and I've heard a similar argument before. My problem with it is that if Eraqus fused his heart with Terra's as well, then why doesn't he display some kind of sentience within Terra's heart in the same way that Xehanort does. I agree with the point that he gave SOMETHING to Terra to allow him to resist Xehanort's control. I personally think he influenced his resolve. Terra makes very solemn promises to extent where his willpower alone can re-animate his armour. We know Eraqus was a stubborn mule,a nd I think that has found root within Terra, and gave him the strength to fight on. I personally think that the Mysterious Figure is either Terranort with TERRA in control, or the enemy for KH3D. I also have my own theory on just what the Ethereal Blades and the Clock hands that Xemnas and the Mysterious Figure use respectively actually are. But now's not the time or place. Look at the dialogue between Terra and Xehanort in "Blank Points". They talk of wrestling control of their heart from one another. Xehanort says how his will take over in the end. Also, in the experiments that Ansem performs on Apprentice Xehanort's heart, wouldn't he have noticed if there were two hearts in there? I can understand reluctance to say that that IS what happened, but I'm going off of what we're given here. And regarding Roxas/Ven, Nomura has confirmed it (in the way Nomura always does). It's not a theory anymore: Plus, it makes a lot of sense. It explains how Xion looked like Ven to Xigbar, why Roxas himself looks like Ventus, how Roxas only starts to dual-wield at a certain point in the story, and why he blacks out in Castle Oblivion. this isn't like when he said that Xemnas "might not be using his Keyblade on purpose", because this is one of the few ways that the story can work. When it becomes relevant to the story as a whole Nomura reveals it, just like he did with this Secret Ending. True, but he doesn't even know for certain if the Keyblade will work to release Kairi's heart. At that point, whether or not he'd turn into a Heartless would be the last thing on his mind. Think about it, Nobodies recall memories of their previous lives. Xemnas had THREE previous lives, and only full memories fom one of them. Terra and Xehanort were constantly fighting for control throughout the lifetime of Apprentice Xehanort, and when he became a Heartless, their fused heart was cast into darkness. Roxas could partially recall parts of Sora's life, and Xemnas had 10 years to analyse the memories he had. Just like the two hearts that fused within him, their goals became a mesh in Xemnas' mind. He knew a part of him wanted the power that laid within Kingdom Hearts(Master Xehanort), a part of him wanted his friends(Terra), and a part of him wanted to reclaim his lost memories(Apprentice Xehanort). That's my line of thinking, in any case. I said it's plausible for Ansem SoD to be a Unique kind of Heartless, which he is, but he can't be classified as both a Pureblood and a Heartless.
Big difference in the two. Terra's and Xehanort's Hearts merged together, whereas Sora's and Ven's Heart's remained separate. That's why Ven's heart stayed behind in Roxas, whereas neither heart remained on in Xemnas. Why would Sora have known? How could he have known? The only thing he'd seen that keyblade do was transform Maleficent into her Dragon form forcibly, not a Heartless. If anything, he knew that he probably wouldn't survive what would happen. Alright, fair enough, he accepted his fate willingly, but I still maintain that he couldn't have known he would become a Heartless. Like I said, Terra's and Xehanort's hearts became one entity. This is why when he tried to extract Terra's heart during the battle in Last Episode, and failed. It would also explain the mesh of desires and goals that Xemnas exhibits. He wants God-like power, the power of Kingdom Hearts and the all powerful "Key"blade, and to find his lost friends, like Terra promised he would. Even if we take that situation, It's impossible to be a Pureblood and Emblem Heartless. In that situation, it needs to be generated via the Manufactory, or stolen by another Heartless.
AA has a fairly large cult following in the west, and the Layton games have been absolutely massive successes as far as the UK is concerned. This had better be released here. I want to hear what Phoenix is going to be like with a proper English voice, besides his objections.
Call me weak, but yes, I'd forget most of the big events in my life before I was 10. There's too much there I want to be rid of.
Jokes aside, they couldn't have. At all. Not one chance. Well, we know that the Apprentices were allied with Xehanort, and we know they didn't create sentient Heartless because Axel tells otherwise in Re:CoM. I honestly don't think just willingly becoming a Heartless means you retain a sense of self, as Sora himself didn't 'willingly' become a Heartless. He just knew that the Dark Keyblade would unlock Kairi's hearts from within his. He couldn't resist becoming a Heartless due to the Keyblade's nature of removing the hearts internal limiters on their darkness. I wouldn't call that willingly, or at least in the same vain as Xehanort's transformation. Of course, I don't have proof that it's anything to do with strength of heart, but if strength of heart means a Nobody can retain it's human form, then it's not a stretch to imagine it being able to preserve the humanity in a Heartless.
