    One of the things I tried to do a while back was try to make Donald and Goofy use their "casual" clothing, as seen in an early KH1 trailer:


    It was, however, only partly successful; in that the models were replaced, but because the bones were set up differently, they didn't exactly look like themselves. They were horrifically mangled; functional, but mangled.

    I didn't test that, however. I had a model viewer at the time that supported animations, however I suspect you're right. For custom/modded models we'd have to somehow take the skeleton out of the one we want to replace, have it on the new model, and (in my case) inject the hud textures and voices somehow.

    At the rate the modding community (ie the few people who can do this in the last few weeks) is working, this may be possible one day, but it's beyond my knowledge as to HOW to do it.

    Sorry for shifting the topic again; but this is about the IMGextract program. In addition to all the ards, it extracts all of the character/enemy models in the game. Someone just asked me if I knew how to mod the Keyblade's textures, and it just occurred to me that all of the weapons/world models don't get extracted.

    Was this intentional or an oversight?

    I would assume that it'd be the same process. Find the weapon's model, extract the textures, edit and repack.

    Only problem is that the iso extractor doesn't seem to extract the weapons, or ANY of the world models either. Just characters and enemies. Interesting...

    EDIT:
    Scratch that; it does extract the Dream weapons, but I don't know if those are just the props from the beginning or the actual, usable, weapons.

    I figured since "Venitas" in BBS had his eyes change colors, might as well retcon this. I'd try to do the bodysuit too (maybe keeping it in blue, don't know) but trying to play the texture matching game is a lot more difficult. Surprisingly possible, but more difficult.

    I can't thank you enough for the Ansem reskin.

    I went ahead and made the skin work for the cutscene version of Ansem's model and it looks great on it, too. The DDD Sora looks surprisingly accruate.

    Perhaps it was Re:Chain of Memories I was thinking of? Regardless of whatever game I'm thinking of, I still prefer a simple Slot 1/2. I know what it's talking about, lol.

    At least in terms of the memory card slots, I believe that KH2 says "Slot 1" and "Slot 2". No shame it changing it.

    The way I see it, the Keyblade was supposed to go to Riku, belonged to Riku, and was, for all intents and purposes, Riku's, until it went back to Sora in Hallow Bastion in KH1.

    At that point, Riku didn't deserve one because for some reason, the Keyblade was being picky in terms of how much darkness a person has (unlike Xehanort's and Terra's keyblades), and thus, lost the right to wield it. The Kingdom Key had officially became Sora's (In DDD I assume that when it says "I know it didn't choose me", he's referring to when the Keyblade "wanted" to be Riku's).

    It wasn't until Riku had obtained some sort of balance between his light and darkness that another Keyblade manifested itself to Riku, one unique to him and different from Sora's.

    That much I don't know.

    I suppose the buttons could be omitted if it comes down to it; the newer model is just set up differently to allow for a more logical coat design. I don't think it can be helped outside of editing the model and not just it's textures.

    All I wanted updated were his clothes honestly. I'd like to use them for myself but if they get used in the "HD Port" that'd be great too. I honestly didn't see any difference in his face textures (referring to his BBS:FM and KH1 versions).
