Looks like a steady theory, and its been touched on by others before. The only difficulty it has is that Namine is no longer connected to Sora, so its difficult to explain her power to mess up Sora's memory.

Also, about Namine having a heart, I believe Axel stated to Roxas, "Namine told me that you're a special nobody, unlike us" or something like that, which is believed to refer to Roxas's ability to feel emotions.

Nobodies are comprised of soul and body of the somebody. That essentially means that appearance changes are indirect effects of the lack of heart. If there was a gender change, that would mean the somebody had either an extremely feminine soul or body, offset by a masculine heart. Sora's heart is NOT overly masculine.

And Xion doesn't look much like Sora, nor does she have a resembling personality, and Xigbar implied Roxas was Sora's nobody and I totally trust Xigbar.

The main problem is that it assumes everyone who you don't see got owned by heartless. Unbirths might not neccesarily seek your heart. They could like, just kill you. Also, this would deprive unbirths of being important in any way to the plot, which I doubt Nomura would do.

Axel is so evil... In the FM cutscene where he's on the clock tower with Roxas eating the popsicle and saying, "This brings me back...", I thought he was referring to how he killed Vexen in Twilight Town...

I don't think Keyblades braking is an issue; they can instantly teleport to a master's hand, so whats the problem with the pieces teleporting back together?

I was thinking about that, but that thing is, when Riku is talking to Xion is the trailers, you can see that Riku responds to Xion with thoughtful advice. Also, I'm not sure if Riku could forget about Xion, especially when he's holding her in his arms and she's in pain. Still, I could see that he MIGHT hold back some information...

Also, Axel is an emotional wreck with friends; he basically commited suicide to save Roxas. Given how devoted he is to his friends, and how carefree he is in KH2, how could he have merely ignore Xion's disapperance? He couldn't stop mentioning how Sora looked like Roxas, so why'd he give no comment to Kairi about Xion? Xion even said herself they look alike. Yes, Axel's technically a nobody without emotions, but as Luxord (or was it Saix?) said, Axel's well fooled himself into thinking he has them.

When Roxas sees that Namine is Kairi's nobody, why doesn't he ask Riku, who I believe was standing nearby, about Xion, who said she was similar to Kairi? After Roxas's fight with Sora, why does he only remember Axel?

I doubt all of them just ignored Xion's existance.

Nomura getting sick of giving us teasers? Impossible.

Anyhow, its (barely) possible, but this likely goes into the "Axel is Reno's nobody" cabinet.

Who knows, it might not even have to leak out, its possible his memories of Namine and Kairi together are so strong that Castle Oblivion forms it, even while Sora is sleeping.

Or alternately, it could be that whole Xion is Kairi's second nobody deal.

Kind of. Its like how when Sora sleights together cards in CoM, his memory of them becomes mixed together to form another attack, like how Sora's memory of casting Stop mixed with attacking makes him use Lethal Frame, an attack he had never used before. A similar thing with Namine and Kairi could make Xion.

There's evidence that Riku likely never had a nobody. Xion isn't Sora's nobody. Its possible she's Kairi's second nobody, or something else created out of Sora's memories. Perhaps when Sora had his memories rearranged, his memories of Namine and Kairi merged into Xion, who, because of the nature of Castle Oblivion, was formed in reality shortly before DiZ moved the whole thing to his lab. Either way, its shown Xion has SOME (special, memory-related) relationship to Sora.

The whole thing. I doubt they'd make us look at a 10 year long story. Anyhow, all of the trailers of BBS and TVA are 10 years before KH.

Namine states that if they do something wrong in Sora's memory restoration, something bad will happen to Xion, so its likely given what we have that they're somehow related.

Well, its possible Xion returns only as a memory. Its possible that Xion is actually Kairi's second nobody from when she originally lost her heart, and connected to Sora some other way, or the most tragic possiblity being that Xion was actually this random nobody not related to any of them, and Riku and Namine and DiZ were completely wrong about her so they basically accidentally killed Xion.

Its been missions with a party but there's apparently friendly fire so you can mess around till Xemnas comes and gives everyone an F for killing each other instead of the heartless.

I was thinking about the "I can't remember something important" at the beginning of every trailer, and I just thought how it might tie into Xion's tragic ending.

Lets take the common theory that Xion is someone who appeared because of Sora's visit at castle Oblivion, like she was part of his memories that escaped and became real or something. Anyhow, she's somehow connected to Sora's memories, which is why Namine has issues. Therefore, Riku has to go find Xion because DiZ is always too lazy to do anything.

Meanwhile, Xion is recruited into the Organization. She becomes great friends with Roxas and Axel, obviously, and then she is assigned to a mission at Beast's castle. She runs into Riku while Roxas is busy talking to the beast or something, and they fight and Riku tells her about her keyblade being fake. This disturbs her and she wants to find out more, so she searched out for Riku during her free time, and finds him as Destiny Islands. Riku tells her about Sora and Kairi, and persuades her that saving Sora is more important than Axel or Roxas (Xigbar-"As if.") So, she is struggling with her options when she starts hiding from the Organization. Riku finally persuades her to leave, and she must tear herself from Roxas and Axel when they search for her in Twilight Town.

When she goes to DiZ's lab after beating Axel/ Riku brings her there after Axel owns her in the fight and leaves out of disgust, she disappears as DiZ uses her to restore Sora's memories. But they still need Roxas, so Xion is basically gone in vain.

However, the process somehow wipes Xion from the memory of everyone (similar to how everyone was forgetting Sora in the time of CoM), and as Roxas and Axel go to the clock tower, Axel notices something is wrong with Roxas, and Roxas goes, "I can't remember, something important", in referance to Xion. It'd be kind of how Kairi could barely remember Sora in CoM, but now Roxas only remembers something's now missing.

See, its tragic AND it fits the line. And doesn't contradict any of the trailers to my knowledge.

Remember that one trailer that the guy caught on his cell phone? The full version in decent quality is up here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=khDMhIohTD4

The user apparently also has the ones for coded and BBS.

Wouldn't this clash with Coded though? Coded is Mickey and Jiminy looking through his journal after the events and trying to see what happened. It'd be kind of weird if SKR were in the next room reading through another book. For all we know, Xion is in the room next to that, reading off Zexion's Lexicon on what happened to Roxas.

Nomura said that the Organization also had heartless, but they weren't as significant as Ansem, so you'll kill a darkside and Xigbar would go, "Oops, I think that was my heartless. Oh well."

Also, they updated Roxas's and Axel's character descriptions; you can know click on them and they'll give you a summary of what happened in CoM for Axel and KHII for Roxas.

Xigbar likes eavesdropping, so I bet they'll add Braig in the background on every other scene, but he'll be way far back and be only a few pixels wide and only be there for like one camera view per scene.
