While rummaging through some of my old sketchbooks, I found a bizarre game idea I had made years ago. it was untitled, and it featured an early version of Slam Wallaby (before he became a duo with Kasey Kockroach) and my other two characters, Ralph and Nelson. Slam Wallaby's home is destroyed by Fartless, and he finds himself in a large metropolis. His quest begins to find his family (particulary his mentally challened older brother). Meanwhile, Ralph the fly (the court jester) finds that Prince Kasey has gone missing. He and royal knight, Nelson the catterpillar are sent by King Donut-Head (who literally has a donut-head) to find him. Slam, Ralph, and Nelson soon bump into each other, and the three decide to join each other on their quests to find their friend(s). Meanwhile, the Fartless leader, Lord Demonor, tries to find King Kasey as well so he can kill him, so nobody would stop him from taking over the universe. Each level was basicially a TV show, or a video game, with 3-4 exceptions. The levels are (in order). Coocoonut Isle (Slam's home) Midnight Metropolis (Here, Ralph and Nelson join party for the rest of the game) Crummi Ship (exploring the collosal ship, buying weapons, accessories, etc.)No optional allies yet. Amity Park- Danny Phantom joins party here in this level South Park-Stan joins party in this level Bikini Bottom-Spongebob joins party (Learn summon Patrick) Kockroach Kingdom (Ralph and Nelson's home. What are some hated/maligned games that you enjoy? As for me, I love the Nicktoons Unite series. They're so bad, they're good. Tom & Jerry: War of the Whiskers (which is only bad, graphics-wise) was alot of fun. And lastly, Klonoa 2 does'nt receive enough attention at all, but it's one of my all-time favorite games ever.

I don't think Goldilocks and the Jivin' Bears is as good as Coal Black, but it definitely has a lot going for it. For starters, unlike many other black character cartoons from many other cartoons, this one's laughs and characters have more substance. Like Coal Black, it's a celebration of black culture and entertainment, rather than playing off the fact that the characters are black stereotypes. It also has some great music and hilarious animation (Greg Duffell believes the take of Red at the end may be a rare Manny Gould scene). Gerry Chiniquy's bit of Goldie dancing with the wolf is not only insane, it takes from real life, because we all know what it's like dancing with that crazy chick at those parties.
