Sylar followed both <Seth's Angel> and <SilentBlade> to the open fields. Sure enough, <SilentBlade>'s predictions of other players following their examples were already killing Hogs, Imps, and more. "From what I can tell," <SilentBlade> suggested, "Most people are heading towards the same area. My guess would be someone found some low level enemies. We could do that, but if we go to some slightly higher levels, we can fight those things instead and level much more quickly. It'll be riskier, but the reward will be worth it. We might not have the levels to make it a breeze yet, but if you're really a veteran of SAO like you claim we'll just have to pick up the slack for Angel and we'll be fine." He nudged Sylar's shoulder playfully, but Sylar wasn't amused in the slightest.
"Though it would be wise to fight higher levels, it would be unwise to not teach <Seth's Angel> how to fight at all." He replied. "If we want to survive as a group, the work load needs to be distributed evenly." But Sylar smirked anyway, as this seemed to be <SilentBlade>'s attempt at small talk. Sylar had a notion that guy wasn't the talking type, and Sylar at times was the same case, but for the sake of helping others, and how history was repeating itself, everyone needed new allies even if they didn't want to.

They soon arrived to a field, filled with Lvl 5-7 Orcs. Sylar had been wise to kill a couple of Hogs on the way before the game wide announcement that they were trapped in this death game, and was at a decent-ish Lvl 3 right. Now it was time to see what his pistol can do.
"Angel, keep an eye on my health. It should be a little bar to the side of your vision." <SilentBlade> said to <Seth's Angel> "If that starts getting low, I want you to open your menu and look at the incantation for your cure spell. Do that and we shouldn't have to pull anything too desperate here. Aside from that, see if you can fire a few arrows. The game should do most of the work for you, just do what comes naturally."
<SilentBlade> then charged in, and hacking the nearest Orc, a level 5. As Sylar watched, he explained to <Seth's Angel> the basics.
"All the fights in this game are very basic if you can understand them. As <SilentBlade had already stated, there is a health bar, or HP bar as most gamers call them. If that bar gets to 0...." His voice trailed off, and he shrugged before going on. "Underneath that is the Mana bar, which helps generate our magic, our usernames and our Levels. A key thing against that Orc and our friend over there is his Level; the higher it is, the better our statistics."
Suddenly, <SilentBlade>'s health bar flickered and lowered down by half within Sylar's field of vision. He looked up and saw that he was thrown a little ways away; attacked by a Level 6 Orc. Even though his colleague was fine and had summoned Alexander the Great, Sylar wasn't going to take any chances. He spun his pistol outward and fired three shots in quick succession. Two of them hit the lower back of the Orc that attacked <SilentBlade>, but one was a definite headshot. The Orc pixelized, then exploded in a flurry of digital crystals. He then threw out a hand towards his hurt colleague, and focused.
"Restore!" Sylar called. <SilentBlade>'s HP went back up a good amount as Sylar prepared to fight.

Sylar gave a nod, and opened his inventory. He tapped a couple of buttons and checking his weaponry. He knew he had gotten two weapons, a pistol and a sword. He equipped the pistol, which appeared on his right leg, in a holster. He pulled it out, checked the mag, and spun the gun in his fingers, and looked at his gun, overhearing <Seth's Angel> and <SilentBlade> about special skills, saying to them as he walked out the gate, "We will teach you whatever there is that we kno about this game. I fortunately have learned a little bit about it before our little debacle here in the Circle of Judgement, so yeah."
He looked up ahead before implying, "There should be a field nearby with a couple of NPC Enemies. if we go there, we could farm a little bit, then move on the the next town. My guess is that it'll take a couple of days for us to prepare for the boss, so until then, we train."

Ze Operator's red eye flickered between Shane, Alexis, and Tessa. His motion tracker went off, causing his eye to train on the now-approaching Zephry.
"Quite the power you have there. Perhaps we should team up. I will make it worth your while." She was saying to Shane, then turned to Tessa with a wink, "You can join us too if you want."
Upon overhearing Alexis' flirt to Tessa and Shane, Operator suddenly began to make a repetitive wheezing noise that phased in and out, lowering and raising in volume. At first, one might have thought that he was sick, but in reality, it was just his laugh. A rather unnerving laugh to some.
"Enough." Operator finally growled. He lifted the sword off the ground, removing it, and it vanished from his hands, and his defense protocol deactivated.
"Everyone has arrived. Now we can get to the main attraction."
He walked down the steps of the Tower, looking once more at each and every one of those who decided to take the challenge. "A majority of you came to this Tower with a purpose."
He stated, first looking at Zephry. "Some look for guidance."
He turned next to Shane. "Some stand for penance."
He sized up Tessa next. "Others care for improvement,"
He glowered at Alexis last. "While others are compelled by avarice."
He stood towards the Tower, and flicked his hand. A tarot card, that looked like a large tower, almost exactly like the Tower of Power. "The Tower Tarot card represents truth. And the truth is probably the hardest for anyone to take in. Most can say...." He tilted his head slightly, "That when people tell the truth, the world loses it's mind." He let out another digital chuckle.
He finally dropped the gentlemanly facade, reverting to his usual attitude.
"Here's the deal. You all have agreed to work together as a team through all floors of this tower. On one for every two of these floors, you will face a powerful individual, and on the next floor above it, there will be a room of rest. The Stasis Room, as I call it. The only twist is that each floor on this Tower, is randomly generated, but fueled solely on on the desires of the challengers. This Tower fights you as much as you fight it, and the moment you enter through those doors is when you either beat all 30 of the boss floors, or you die trying."
He finally finished with, "I have read up on each of your files. I know your strengths and weaknesses. This Tower is made specifically for rectifying those weaknesses. Basically, survive together, die together." He glared at Alexis to make sure that she was paying attention "Is that clear??"
Operator didn't wait for a response. "Good." He walked back to the Tower door, snapping his fingers. Both Tower doors flew open, a dark room entering ahead. Operator turned a head back, saying "If anyone would like to back out, now is a good time."

Looks like he got through to the girl, because she stood, a new look on her face. She bowed to both him and <SilentBlade> and asked if either of us had known the player <Dragon Blade>.
"Name doesn't ring a bell," Sylar responded. "If he goes by another name, maybe? But I usually tended to work alone back in SAO."
That was a lie. He did have a guild for himself, <The House of Hades>. He stuck to it like a second home. That is, until....
    He shook his head curtly.
"We should get going." He said. "Most of the players are already banding up, and the faster we leave, the better we have of an advantage, especially if any PKers decide to get the jump on us. So we need to see how the entire game is, and gauge how <Seth's Angel> can fight."
He began heading to the gate, waving to both <SilentBlade> and <Seth's Angel> to follow. "Come on."

"What the hell?!" Tessa had shrieked at him pushing Alexis off her, staring at him. So much for introductions. But after the stunt Alexis pulled, he was unsure to let anyone enter without a group.
"My apologies," Ze Operator replied, his voice sounding like something of an old synthesizer. "But Ms. Ackerman here was acting stupid enough to enter the Tower.....by herself. Everyone must be present before I let anyone enter the Tower--"
The sudden appearance of Shane Ware behind the girls and a large migraine caused Ze Operator to stop, using his right arm on his sword for support and clutching his left hand to his head.

    "LET THEM PASS!"
    -ERROR, COMMAND NULL, AUTHORIZATION DENIED-

By now, Ze Operator's head was twitching, his mind somehow conflicted with letting everyone pass, and not letting anyone pass until everyone had arrived. His mind was being too overloaded.

    -SYSTEM REBOOT ACTIVATED-

Operator's head and arms dropped immediately, his red eye glow vanishing. He still stood, at the front of the tower. After a couple of seconds, his head raised up, left eye alight, staring right at Shane.
"Impressive." He said. "No one's ever been able to control me for a while. You must be especially strong. But, my protocol states that I cannot let anyone enter until the entire group is present."
