Hey, I've been refreshing for like two days now and I very rarely see new posts. Plus, the staff list is empty and there are very little users online. I'm going to guess that this is on my end, just wondering what to do?
I've got my preorder in to get me delivery on day one I've got my amiibo preordered for the same day. I've put in for my vacation for the day of delivery I've got all my friends registered on my TeamSpeak server I've got alcohol when the guaranteed disappointment sets in I'M READY FOR SPLATOON COME UNTO ME MULTIPLAYER GLORY Okay, real talk, it's not so much Splatoon as it is a multiplayer shooter. It's been awhile since I've been able to catch something close enough to launch to take part in the growing multiplayer community before it all shuts down or is only crowded by people who know frame by frame what they're doing and I'm excited for that.
So I work at a casino- in a store mind you, not as a dealer or anything. Tonight, this casino is having Hodor from Game of Thrones DJ a club. If that weren't enough, there's an HBO prize fight being streamed from here and it's sold out. I'm going to die.
In order to combat scalpers and make sure everyone who wants a Shulk gets a Shulk, GameStop is doing a second run for the guy. However they are being made to order so you have to prepay full price at a store and it will be mailed to you in May. This is probably the only way people will get Shulk's amiibo for a price lower than $70, so even if you have a slight interest, I'd go for it. Never know if he'll have a function in Xenoblade Chronicles X, either.

I'm currently living with a close friend; the same day I arrived, there was a bat loose in the walls of the apartment. In a panic we called the landlord to plan out repairs to bat-proof the apartment while dealing with scratches and screeches in the walls. Our landlord seemed more than cooperative... until the next day, when he stopped by under the guise of checking out the attic for bats. Instead, he stopped by to give my friend an eviction notice and said he was no longer comfortable with the weekly payment structure they informally agreed on a year ago. Thankfully, he is looking into the bats so hopefully that will no longer be an issue in a few days. Also thankfully, I have just enough in my bank account to get us up to speed and avoid eviction. Bad news? It will take every dime I have and every penny she has for the next couple months to play catch-up and earn enough to live decently. There will be no money for food, water, electricity, gas, or any other possible expense. I need around $230 total to make it through the next two months. This is a lot to ask of the small communities I frequent and the random people out there who may find this. But right now, I can only rely on your kindness. If just 20 people pitch in $10 a piece, we'll be in the ball park of keeping me off the streets until I begin work. Thank you for reading. I'm playing Mass Effect 2 on a different TV. The voice acting is muffled. This is not the first time I've tried to solve their audio issues. That said, I'm at a loss. I'm in the equalizer settings trying to adjust well, everything, and just trying to go by what sounds best, but I can't find the right combination of things that are making the voice acting muffled and the background sounds extremely loud (dialog volume in game is at 100%, sound effects at 70%). The options for the equalizer are 100hz, 300hz, 1khz, 3khz, and 10khz. Other issues that may be affected is that highs are REALLY high with a lot of echo and and certain low pitches have a lot of volume compared to other sounds period. (Example, opening the Xbox guide button makes an ear shattering high pitch at a decent volume then a nice low boom that is about twice as loud)

.... MY GOD Backstory: I donated to this KS because I adore WayForward and I respected the ideas that Yacht Club had here, plus I wanted to expand my Wii U library. After some... not so respected behavior from the team during the development process (treating the donors like children and oft looking down on them, never updating, delaying the game and giving no one any reason as to why or what the new schedule will be, giving builds of the game to YouTubers, but people who donated thousands of dollars didn't get to see the game till release, etc) I had lost hope in this project and figured it'd be another failed attempt of a game trying to be retro and just ending up using that as an excuse to be simple. But... MY GOD Did you ever want the exploration of Castlevania, the rule of Mega Man, and the soul system of DkS/DeS? Yeah? Well, here it is. I've gotten through three stages now and the bosses really all have character and stand out as difficult and rewarding fights. The balance of losing gems when you die and having to go pick them up (like Souls) is much better than a lives system with this type of game. The worst thing about this game honestly is just how badly it wants to be a NES game, but having a graphical look that does not remind me of any NES game. They did get the sounds and the effects for that era of game DOWN PAT. But who cares about that crap, it's fun as heck to play.

Now, a lot of us here play games. A lot of us buy them too! Some of EVEN play stuff other than the Kingdom Hearts games (so Below can't be here). This summer it seems that every company has tempted me with delicious sales of games they know I want and have no money for. Steam, Xbox, Wii U... I don't even know what PS did, I'm just glad I was cut off because still don't own one. So, let's post our hauls of the summer sales and pretend we're not dying of hunger because we suck at self-control. SO FAR I GOT: Virtua Fighter 5: Final Showdown (Xbox 360) Sonic the Hedgehog 4: Episode 1 (Xbox 360) Sonic the Hedgehog 4: Episode 2 (Xbox 360) Castle of Illusion Starring Mickey Mouse (Xbox 360) Cloudberry Kingdom (Wiii U) The Cave (Xbox 360) I've done a good job resisting so far... Luckily I owned a majority of the games on sale for Wii U but I've still probably spent enough.
Spoiler: Me that day I know it's sad to say, but without at least one of these items I have lost all stimulation and just say eff it and go to sleep. Anyone else?
