I don't know. They probably weren't as common in the world of light before Apprentice Xehanort experimented with them. That and Nomura/the game making team probably wanted to focus more on the Unversed rather than Heartless/Nobodies. I mean, you never see Nobodies throughout KH1 but they're everywhere in KH2. Wasn't that they didn't exist, just that Nomura didn't have them figured out beforehand.
No, Heartless have existed long before MX. Remember the story Kairi's grandma tells her? Well, supposing that is what truly happened to separate all worlds, the Heartless probably started showing up because darkness started "existing" in the worlds. It is the emblem Heartless that wouldn't have shown up until after Apprentice Xehanort started doing his experiments.
I remember playing Harvest Moon on the original Ninetindo Game Boy (that belonged to my brother). I actually still have the Harvest Moon game.
This is why I'm glad my younger brother has been growing up with a gaming sister (me). I think it actually causes him to be surprised when a girl CAN'T/DOESN'T play videogames. If only we could get past the sexist ideas of the world and see that females are just as capable as males in a lot of situations. I'm gonna be a gaming grandma myself one day and no one is going to ruin it for me.
One of the YouTube comments: "I haven't felt this sad since Wilson fell off the raft in Castaway." So true, absolutely heartwrenching.
This makes me laugh and sad all at the same time.
Yeah, most of what Dawkins ever talks/debates about is mainly geared towards slamming any kind of belief system. I watched the video of "The God Delusion" debate between Dawkins and John Lennox a couple years back. I think Dawkins lost that debate pretty badly. I mean, I get if you have established yourself as a person totally free from the influence of any kind of religious association, but that doesn't give you the right to be disrespectful of someone else because they DO have a religious association.
Is it weird that I laughed at the two finger Keyblade ring? Just thinking how people would use it like brass knuckles but get caught for hitting someone because of the keyblade impression it'd make. xP And I think the hoodie and crown necklace are awesome, too.
I agree with you, Killjoy (awesome new username, btw), I find it to be a bad call to even have Katy Perry as a guess on the show. I know that SS tries to at least make the show bearable for parents to tolerate while watching with their kids, but the show is FOR kids. Why would you ask someone who clearly is not a proper role model for children in general to be on a children's show? I try to stay away from music/shows/etc. that people like Katy Perry star in or promote. If I were a parent, I wouldn't want my kids watching something she's in, even if it was harmless and kid friendly (because the fact of the matter, she's going to go back to doing her adult-themed work at the end of the day). The outfit she wore may not be the most inappropriate thing in the world (that still doesn't make it ok), but you gotta wonder if anyone thought it through that this would not be appropriate for a children's program. And kids may not even think about it, but things like this still affect them in the long run. Take any kind of psychology/sociology course and you'll understand that.
Can't say it lessens with any worlds. Ven's story gets annoying too because he introduces himself as Ventus in every world and soon after clarifies that they can just call him Ven for short (he should've just introduced himself as Ven in the first place...). But maybe that's just me.
I probably haven't put all these points in a very good order. But they're the observations I believe point to the Aqua battle THEN the Ven/Van heart battle: They fused automatically because Vanitas’s body couldn’t sustain itself alone anymore (being defeated by Ven in physical state). There wouldn't need to be a struggle for the actual fusion because the game pretty much stated that when the two fought, they would fuse and make the X-blade. So the X-blade was forged when they fuse at that point. Aqua battle: "Team up with Mickey, defeat Vanitas, break his hold over Ventus!" I would think this means that Ven's heart still dwells within the fused Van/Ven. Vanitas: “Our union was not finished.” It seemed to be bit of an unexpected/unpleasant surprise to Vanitas, afterall the X-blade looked whole in the physical world. Sora’s heart is probably what prevented a fully successful 100% fusion and X-blade forging-or it was Ven’s reluctance to be under Van’s control. Right after Aqua attacks Van/Ven with D-link power, the X-blade flies up and has that brownish glow and broken appearance it does in Ventus and Vanitas’s heart battle. I think when the blade is going haywire on the outside is when Ven faces Vanitas the second time. Heart platform: At beginning of the Ven vs Vanitas battle, it has both of them pictured on the platform. After the battle, the X-blade flashes and is gone, Vanitas dissolves into light, and the platform just has Ven on it. Which I believe that Vanitas no longer has his dark influence of Ven's heart/body (their hearts are one again)-Ven's back to his original state before MX divided him. “The X-blade is made of your heart, too, idiot. If you destroy it, your heart will vanish forever.” After Ventus beats Vanitas the second time, Ven’s heart then leaves/vanishes. Since Ven’s heart is gone, it means that he destroyed the X-blade (and Ven’s heart being present seems to have been a requirement for the X-blade to exist. So if his heart is gone, so is the X-blade.) And since Ven's heart is complete again and leaves, Vanitas would no longer exist as a separate being (he'd be part of Ven again). After fight with Aqua, the dark suit Van/Ven had on changes back to Ven’s armor. The X-blade also breaks up here. And I doubt the Terra(Lingering Sentiment I assume you mean) vs Terranort battle can be likened to this situation. Theirs was pretty much just a physical battle so I doubt there would've been any way for Terranort to be controlled by Terra from just a physical beating from his sheer will (though it may have spurred Terra's heart to try and fight back later in Aqua's story). Terra's heart vs MX's within Terranort plays the major role of that struggle.
Best thing I learned in Chemistry and other such science courses, blame a messy room on entropy. Disorder is inevitable.
Yeah, up until BBS I was pretty sure it was the Keyblade itself speaking to Sora. I mean, it's a giant magical key with crazy awesome abilities, why WOULDN'T it have the ability to speak within someone's heart? But now with BBS it could be explained Spoiler that Ven was speaking to Sora because of their intertwined hearts.
I don't think marriage itself ruins relationships. I think it brings to light aspects of life that the couple overlooked/ignored when they simply dated or what not. People have to be open and honest to each other BEFORE marriage if they ever hope to spend their lives together. It is a big commitment and if you don't prepare for it beforehand, that's when it could get rocky.
Clothes -BarlowGirl I want to make my own funny music video for this song, but it'll never come to fruition.
Got to do something to spice up a class about a dead language, right?
Well, Terra seems to have a brief moment of seeing the future at that moment. So when Terra sees Riku "transform" into young MX, I think it is more of a foreshadowing of what Riku's fate holds for him (being controlled by Ansem of the Darkness and becoming his vessel). And the second question could simply be answered that silver hair is not all that uncommon in the KH world. I had the notion that when they said "long time ago" it means decades. I figure MX left Destiny Islands years before any of the younger BBS characters (like TAV) were born, and so before Riku could even be conceived.
It is all about the supply and demand. No doubt there will be enough consumers willing to buy the 3DS "right off the line" when it comes out regardless of price. I highly doubt I get one even though some of the games that will come out for it seem like good ones. I'm just not willing to fork out over $200 for a handheld system (might be the poor college student in me). And like it has been said, they'll probably come up with a newer model soon after anyway.
"Some now speculating Heidi Montag is actually a scarecrow pivoting in the wind." That news segment HAD to be real! xP
I'm too much of a good little student to skip classes. I got a bit sluggish toward the end of the day (for some reason I refused to take a nap because I guess I thought it'd keep me from sleeping well that night). Thankfully, that was a Friday and I could sleep in Saturday. ^^
