If installed, it will become a part of KHV, just as the Spamzone or the VM system is. You won't have to do anything.
Ideal Chat Lite Ideal Chat Lite What is this? Ideal Chat Lite is a Facebook-esque chat client for vBulletin. It remains down the bottom of the screen, and allows you to communicate with anyone in your Friends List in realtime, one-on-one conversation. There is a single group chat room also available. Anyone who does not wish to use it can easily opt-out and disable it. The vBulletin plugin thread is here. Want to try it out? Go here. Sign in with the username 'Ideal Chat Demo' and the password 'chatdemo'. See down the bottom for a functioning demo of the chat. NOTE: This is the paid version, so it has a few more features than normal. But nothing too important. NOTE: This one has a poor response-rate. This can be adjusted by the admin. Moderation/Abuse If someone is abusing the chat, they can have chat-privileges revoked. One-on-one conversations are only between friends. It is incredibly easy to block someone. As with Private Messages, a screenshot-based system can be used for rule enforcement. (i.e. The member reporting the incident screenshots the chat.) Convenience and realtime aside, there is little difference between the one-on-one chat conversations and Private Messages in terms of moderation. There may or may not be a way to disable the group chatroom if it proves to be too troublesome. There are usually staff online and available to enter the chat on request. While it appears that in the Lite version, only Admins are able to moderate the chat specifically, other staff members still has access to the usual punitive measures of the forum. Previously Noted Flaws The server is too small – The new server means that this is no longer a problem. Furthermore, the chat has been noted not to cause server-strain. We lack enough staff to moderate a chatroom – We have more staff than before. Also, there is the option of relying on a screenshot-based report system. Members are not mature enough to handle realtime conversation – The Voxli chat has demonstrated that members are able to behave maturely and responsibly in a chatroom. (NOTE: All misdemeanours in Voxli were due to anonymous users, some not even from this site, not regular members.) MSN and Voxli already exist as alternatives – Both MSN and Voxli require a degree of hassle to set up. Not all members have MSN, and Voxli is not one-one-one. This would allow you to communicate with friends immediately, without trouble. This will render PM and VM pointless – VM, PM and chat all have their place. VMs are for leaving a non-realtime conversational message for someone, so they work for offline. PMs, on the other hand, are specifically for private messages. Both VM and PM allow for far longer messages than chat does.
Bad Kira. Remember to write conditions. Otherwise we get scenarios such as Ienzo, A.K.A. Watari, being found in a vat of icecream, dead of a heart attack. Metal note: Voting system for once-a-day does not work well. Revise to a percentage system next round.
Yep. It's kinda funny to realise that not all members remember me as Pika_power. P wasn't intended to be a permanent name, but then it stuck. :p...
Have I gone wrong somewhere? I was under the impression the L interrogation got sent out when the Kira's kill for the period also got executed. It's possible I screwed the timing somewhere. I do apologise if that is the case. ICSP is, as one might expect, not found to be Kira. The Detectives figured this out after they ripped off the first limb. They kept going because the freezer was empty, and they were out of meat. The dinner that night was very good. Detective meat crisps up well. [X] Akanji's Mansion I like to finish a route entirely.
Oh goodie. A death soon. I wonder how this'll pan out. By the way, does Erika find a matching knife set in the draws/rack? 8^y
In other words, it is to starve. Starve while demanding the fair, and die. Erika twitched into a frown at the girl's tone, but didn't stay perturbed for more than a few seconds. If the Detective couldn't stay in control of her emotions, what hope was there for the other victims? Of course, that would be implying that the Detective cared about the other victims, which she didn't. A Detective's job is to detect, not play messiah. What's a few lives, provided the case gets solved? That's the basis for her entire plan, after all. She could interrogate, looking for a motive, but she detested such tactics. The Whydunnit can always be constructed after the culprit is selected; there's no need to try to use it when hunting. The Whodunnit and Howdunnit are far more interesting, and a lot harder to solve. Seeing an opportunity to kill two birds with one stone, Erika explained. "We'll put you into a room with this young man here." She gestured at the semi-intoxicated Jensen, and smiled supportively. "He's sufficiently strong, and should be able to protect you should trouble arise. Also, by pairing up with him, you secure an alibi for each other for when the next murder happens." Erika celebrated inside. She could fob Jensen off on Delilah and have her investigations go unhindered. "If you have no objections, shall we find you two a room? Or would you prefer to stay in the kitchen?" While speaking, Erika had wandered over to the knife rack and started sorting the knives into sets, searching for a match to the one that was sticking into Angela. Of course, if there was no match, it wouldn't mean anything, but if there were a single knife missing from a set, it'd point towards the murder being a spur-of-the-moment assault, as opposed to a premeditated murder. Either way, she figured, she'd find the culprit and burn away his defences with the harsh light of truth and duct tape.
I set the time as August 1st to test it out. [timezone]31,7,11,11,30[/timezone] Oh, and it doesn't show up after editing until you refresh, but that's a known bug.
Write as much as possible into your posts. It'll stop them from getting deleted. Of course, sometimes even that doesn't help. :/
[timezone]1,8,11,15,30[/timezone] Sweet, it autocalculates it. This'll help a ton for the DN Game. Thanks RvR!
So what's up?
You can't spell KHV without P. well actually you ca——*SHOT* So what about your name? Origins?
We just did. :p
It's been a while since I've heard nothing. Usually there's some noise, always. Kinda miss silence.
Oh wow. I told someone else the story behind it literally a minute after you asked. Have you been stalking future!Me? ---------- Started off...
Started off as Pika_power from years ago, because I liked Pikachu. Then premium members got rainbow names here, and I detested them, so I changed...
The Living: P <Shinigami> Britishism Midnight Star Ienzo KH2man13 votes ICSP Makaze votes ICSP ICSP votes ICSP Graveyard Christhor <Detective> Fearless <Kira> Terra254 <Detective> Tikem <L> Next Round: ICSP <Shinigami> Wolf Haley P Red = Known Role Green = Claimed (but not necessarily authenticated) Role I think the rounds may go by a tad too quickly. Perhaps extend to 48 hours next time? Hmm...
lol. More interesting origins than my name.
