Maybe Summer Wars. Maybe Scribblenauts or Portal 2. I dunno. I'm bored. Come in and make suggestions? Link.
I just feel like I can't figure it out. And I'm bored so I want to explore it. I've watched some of the original Star Trek TV series, more of Next Generation, and then saw both of J.J. Abrams' recent films. Into Darkness to me was a fine movie. Not AMAZING, but definitely not terrible. Chris Pine still isn't my kind of captain, Zachary Quinto still is a great Spock, Simon Peg is still an awesome Scotty, and I was surprised how much I like Benedict Cumberbatch (someone I'd never seen act before) as Khan. The story too felt alright. So why are all the reviews for it so divisive? What I've seen is either very positive, or very negative. And to make it clear: Next Generation is my favorite version of Star Trek, followed by the J.J. Abrams films, then everything else (haven't seen every form of Star Trek though)
As interesting as that sounds Linkage (NOT WORKING RIGHT NOW) EDIT: Well, having some issues ALL OF A SUDDEN...I'll try figuring it out
Yup, we finally got a release date...well, a vague one, but still: 2015 Director is Colin Trevorro, who directed films like "Safety Not Guaranteed" (which I liked.) No plot synopsis or cast revealed yet.
My newest homework assignment for my Intro to Cinema class consists of me choosing 3 film quotes that should be included on the AFI (American Film Institute) Top 100 Movie Quotes, but aren't. Thing is, I also have to justify why I chose each movie quote: I'm not entirely sure why, but I'm having a hard time grasping that justification part when it comes to film quotes. I really can't quite figure out what would make a quote that important for anything but being memorable. Could you guys help? Maybe break down some quotes you think are important, and why?
Been watching horror movies pretty much all day (including Session 9, Apollo 18, V/H/S, Leviathan, and Event Horizon) Could you guys recommend some? Also, if you know it's on Netflix, it'd be cool if you included that bit :>
Here you go.
WHAT DO i DO WITH MY LIFE
So never mind that.
Surprised there's not discussion about the movie yet :\ Anyway, saw it earlier today. Loved it. I was already excited due to loving director Neill Blomkamp's previous film District 9, and this did not disappoint me. Solid cast of characters that are all excellently acted out (especially Matt Damon and Sharlto Copley) with realistic and dynamic motivations, fast-paced plot that never seemed to drag on to me, not-so-subtle political/social commentary that is made bearable by executing it through cool-ass sci-fi weaponry, mechs, exo-suits, and a Halo-looking world, appropriate music (and where it needs to be, as well as none where there shouldn't be!), and best of all? IT'S NOT A SEQUEL/ADAPTATION/REMAKE. My only gripes would probably be just wanting more time to really see the actual world of Elysium, like the social gatherings and stuff. Also, maybe just a little explanation for how the med bays in Elysium work? Probably unnecessary for what they're trying to achieve, but its just something a person like me gets curious about. From one film lover to (hopefully) others, see this one.
Here comes some nostalgia Spoiler And yes, I am in fact watching the movie. The English dub at that. Terrible jokes, early-2000's soundtrack, and all.
(link to article through image) Yup, almost every Elder Scrolls game, in one package, at $79.99, coming out September 10 on PC. And do you like maps?
Thought it'd be best to just post here since it'll get attention quickly. I'm trying to play Fallout 3 currently, and I've got two monitors. For some reason, as I'm trying to move my cursor in game, the cursor will actually leave the game and move to my other window, and clicking will make me exit the game. This only happened recently, and I haven't installed any new mods or anything.

(over their opening weekend, obvs) Fucking. Seriously. I don't get it. I really don't. How can so much support be going towards a sequel of a jaded Adam Sandler flick over a genuinely awesome concept, that isn't a sequel, prequel, remake, or adaptation, that features giant robots fighting giant monsters? Hell, Despicable Me 2 wining makes sense: it's a kid's movie, so they're getting a much bigger audience. What am I not understanding?
