Nintendo sure know how to milk their products. I never bothered to get the DS lite, and I'm not going to leap over hurdles to get this either. The improvements and additions just aren't convincing enough(And what could have been potentially convincing enough, such as the camera just don't meet much expectations in my opinion). I'll stick with my original silver Nintendo DS, kthx.

lol. Anyway, it does awfully sound like a faulty part of the ipod. I would suggest sending it back to apple for repairs, but that depends if your ipod is covered by warranty(otherwise I believe you will be charged).
No. To be honest, FFX would turn into another overhyped FF7, which has almost transformed into it's own franchise now. I liked FFX as a videogame alot, and I also liked FFX-2 despite it's large amount of femininity. I'd rather they kept it at that.

The cutout of you is really out of place and looks awfully sloppy. The cloud effects are bland and the lens flare is just plain abhorrent. The text effects are also not a very pretty sight to look at either. Sorry to be so harsh, but it really doesn't look like you spent much time on this at all, like you just threw filters all over it in some blind hope that you would get a good result. I suggest you look at some tutorials.
