Alice smiled at the girl, knowing she was okay. "Yeah... I just... need a moment", she panted, still exhausted from the running. "And you never answered my other question." The statement scared her, how could she answer, she had to lie. "I'm... from... a different town", she said hoping it would work, "called...um... haha it's fine, it's more EPIC! Is that word still "in" Alice was panting, but she smiled, almost laughing. It was fun running away, avoiding death like that, she didn't know why. Maybe it was because she was learning about herself. How many men where actually chasing her, there had to be at least 18, and she was unscratched. She outbeat 20 men today. As she panted, she saw a piece of reflective glass on the floor. It was the first time she had ever saw what she looked like. She had long blonde hair, fair skin and... what was going on with her eyes? She saw them turn from their white state to a regular blue, it was probably from the flash before. She turned to the girl, "Are you okay?", she asked softly.
I wasn't expecting her eyes to change colour, but oh well !!! Damn, how the hell is she meant to explain this? lol EDIT: sorry it took me a but, I heard noises in my backyard, thought someone was breaking in which is wierd coz it's day time The guards looked like they were on drugs. They stood their open-mouthed for a few seconds. She hadn't realised her eyes changed colour, but she did notice a big overturned dumpster looking object. She pulled the girl behind it, just in time as the men began to return to their orginal state. "Umm, what were we doing?", one asked, which shocked Alice. Did she really make them forget? "No idea" "Hey, the boss might get us for slacking off, let's go", the last one replied and they all left. When the men were out of sight, Alice tried to get up to check, but her legs were unstable and she fell back down again. Managing to pull herself to her knees, she realised she had wasted a lot of energy.

okay, I'm basically stuck unless I use her power......yeeaaahhh!! Didn't want to do this so soon. There were only three guards left, which was still not a good sign. She had been able to take out two before, but for one, she had a knife and now she had a girl to protect. Panting, she had prepared herself for a fight, but she had to think of a way to get out of this. She tried to concentrate very hard on what to do, but instead she felt a white flash from behind her eyes, similar to what she experienced before in the ally, except it wasn't long enough to blind her. The men stopped in their tracks.

Actually we had a drought that lasted about 10 years here and it's getting better now, so I doubt it's global warming, for use it would be just some freaky winds.
