Ayeee, I remember you. VGN here.
Spoiler I dunno, I personally like the use of syncopation and the changing of time signatures (or the "disjointedness" or "lack of cohesion" as you may call it). Imo, it adds an extra layer of personality to the song that many pop songs are lacking these days. The juxtaposition of such an aggressive, distorted bassline with such a light, twinkly melody brings two very opposite ends of the musical spectrum and puts them together in such a ear-pleasingly, hypnotic way. The genre-jumping aspects of it are what keeps the song interesting, and not as monotonous nor predictable as other pop songs out there, but I can see how it may seem weird/random to those who aren't used to such things.
? What're you referring to? If you're referring to the multiplayer, they've already confirmed that there won't be any multiplayer in the 2.5 HD Remix, so that they can start working on KH3 sooner.
Well, if you listen past the 30-second mark, you can hear twee-sounding synths that are very k-pop influenced. A bit reminiscent of Girl's Generation.
I'm really looking forward to doing the Zach boss battle with Aqua, since Aqua is my favorite character to play as and that Zach boss battle is probably one of my favorites in the entire series. I'm also looking forward to see how the shot-locks will work on the PS3. Boy, do I have some bad news for you...
This? This is the future of music. A combination of trap, k-pop and EDM influences. Something that's aggressive and hard-hitting while at the same time being very twee and melodic. It's like nothing you've heard so far.
We need to stop promoting the stereotype that LA is the center of the universe. That being said, COME OVER TO NYC, SQUARE ENIX. Ahhh, so lucky. Let us know how it goes!
KH1 was SOOO much harder. I was playing KH1.5 and I was at the End of the World and after you defeat the gargoyle, you have like 4-5 back-to-back boss-like fights, and you can't leave half way through and heal yourself. I'm level 52, and I'm still somehow underpowered for a near-end game level. That's hard as hell. In KH2, I didn't even die once when I was fighting Xemnas and his many forms.
I want this. So much.
Well, there are women who genuinely have rape fantasies, and there are female rape victims who have had orgasms from being raped, even when they previously have never experienced an orgasm (not that I'm implying that the person being raped enjoyed the raping by any means). However, even though these people exist it doesn't mean that all women enjoy rape, or secretly want it. Perhaps that's where the misinformation from your friend comes from. But yeah, rape is possible for anyone, and is equally wrong against anyone.
Smh guys. Smh. lol Also, how can you guys tell if the BBS screenshots are HD or not?
This new CoD doesn't look half bad. I'm glad they're finally getting their **** together. It heavily resembles the Crysis multiplayer, but I have some hope for this one. What do you guys think?
Pretty much this. As a young black man living in America, Canada is looking reeeeaaalll nice right now. Peaceful protest is fine, but the looting and riots aren't really helping the cause.
The apex of idiocy. Bask in the nonsense. BATHE in the dumb assery.
Telling our kids that suicide is a valid life choice isn't gonna help either. That's true. Animosity doesn't help. I'm just afraid that more and more people who are contemplating suicide would go through with it under the pretense that they have a mental illness (whether they do or not) and think that they are beyond help. However, I'm glad that there are things like national suicide awareness week that informs young people that there are other options to killing oneself and that there is help out there. lol Naw. I enjoy having an open discussion on things like this and getting different people's opinions and viewpoints that I may not have considered. I'm sure we're all mature enough for that, no?
You make a point, I was just saying that I wasn't trying to make a personal attack on anyone. True, guess I'm just a bit desensitized to people making jokes about dead celebrities I never said that people who are suicidal don't need support. I was just saying that the widespread tolerance of suicide isn't good on our society, because that'll result in more suicides. If there's one message that I think shouldn't be taught to people is that suicide is by any means okay. Hey, it's just my opinion man. If this is upsetting you, you're free to disagree and not look at this thread.
Valid. That's probably true, especially considering that the family also has to take responsibility of the person's debt upon their suicide, as well (it'd be especially cumbersome if they didn't have life insurance, either). I suppose that's true, however I can't possibly imagine what he had to be depressed about. But yeah, I guess mental illness isn't ever logical. True, but he's a celebrity and not really someone many know personally. It's not like a member's mother had passed and I said "Haha, thank God x's mom is dead" or something like that. I dunno, maybe it's hard for me to grasp mourning for someone you didn't know personally. Excuse my insensitivity. I suppose my comments were insensitive considering his mental illness, however the concept of the dead being immune to criticism is a bit absurd in my opinion. You make a point, I just really hate Agrabah is all haha.
Valid. I get that medication can't always fix depression, but killing oneself doesn't solve anything, and the fact that we're all so understanding of him killing himself is hazardous for other people who are depressed and contemplating suicide, because they may assume that suicide is okay and that their friends and family will understand, just like how everyone's understanding of Williams' suicide. Basically, I think the wide-spread tolerance of suicide is a bit hazardous on our society. Just my opinion, you don't need to agree.
Please re-read the post. Nowhere in it did I say that you can magically cure depression. He had the resources to help TREAT it. I have a few friends who suffer from clinical depression, I know it's not easy, but medication and therapy definitely helps keep the depression at bay at least long enough to not have to resort to suicide. Valid.
Why? The dude died with much more fame, success, and money than most of us will ever have. Lord knows he had the resources to seek the help he so desperately needed, so I don't see the point in killing oneself. Call me insensitive, but I can't really respect someone who has the world and still decides to kill themselves. There are people who have it a lot worse than him (both financially and mentally) but still don't decide to kill themselves. I get it, maybe he was clinically depressed due to a chemical imbalance or whatever, but even then, there's still therapy and medication to help with that, you know? Money can't buy happiness, but it can sure as hell help cure depression.
