Feeling useless, my little Bee? Lestat crooned happily at Beatrice. You could help him, you know; repay Edward for always protecting and saving you... I doubt he can win this fight with how strong that bride seems to be; she's much better than those other two. Do you need my help? I'd be more than happy to... give you a... encouraging push, my dear.
Lestat frowned and shrugged at Will, as if he didn't care what happened. "I'm going after my littlest child," Lestat muttered, stepping up to the mirror and grinning as the glass melted before his touch. "Just in case..."
Lestat shut his eyes, imagining the room where he had visited Beatrice, and opened his a moment later to find himself standing in it, barely a hair moved on his head. He walked out of it and into the foyer, his eyes on the mirror in front of him, his reflection looking back at him happily. He took the time to fix his ponytail, redo the ruffled handkerchief of his collar, and flash himself a large grin and wink in the shining glass. Little Bee, he commented suddenly. You be careful in there... I looked devishly handsome right now and would hate to come in there and rescue you right away.
"I'm tempted to follow them," Lestat murmured, almost to himself. "Just to watch the fun... make sure my little children look after themselves..."

Lestat gave Will a small smile. "I've no interest in endangering you," he commented with a shrug. "Though, if you were, I honestly would make no effort to help or save you."
