Both recommendations are bad for first time anime fans, honestly Try something simple, since Haruhi can get a bit hard to understand at some points unless your simply focused on that anime intently. As for Lucky Star, you have to be into Anime and Japanese Pop Culture to understand most of the jokes, so take that off your list. Is she a girly girl? Try Sailor Moon, into romance? Romeo X Juliet is good, or try a shojo anime like Ouran High School Host Club. Try to connect the anime to something she can like and relate to. Also, TWILIGHT isn't bad at all, don't listen to others. If you want to do this, then just read.

I acutally went all three days to NYCC and I thought the game was good, albeit a few problems here and there. I would buy it since it's been quite awhile since I played any of the games (saving up for a new PSP/BBS) so it would be nice to see.

Even if I have a personal thing agaisnt NYCC/NYAF being together and pushed into the smallest room >_> I cosplayed as the male trainer from Pokemon Black and White, and I have a video of me playing Re:Coded: Also...I think Wolfie has the video of me and Advent fighting Team Rocket with...Maids

I acutally attended with Wolfie and Advent from here, and did videos of us playing it : D They should be uploaded soon. We found out a lot of info also about Re:Coded, and other games from Square Enix. It was pretty fun.
