    FINALLY.

    Source.

So any thoughts? I am SUPER excited, it's been in development hell forever. I loved the book series... Hope they don't mess it up though. Fast tracking could be a big mistake.

Okay so, this morning my mom asked me to come help her with her computer because she can't access the internet. Basically, this 'antivirus program' blocks her from visiting any website she types in, saying it's a potential security threat and that she should scan her computer with this Windows Security thing (and when you get fed up and click OK, it asks you to purchase it... Or I guess I should say, it asks you to give it all of your personal info). Funny, though, that it even blocks the Microsoft website...

Anyway, it even has a tray icon that repeatedly says her system has been hijacked and tries running 'scans'. Having dealt with some pretty awful viruses myself, I promptly booted her PC in Safe Mode with Networking and went to go download AVG... but lo, it works even in SM! =/ So I am effectively blocked from browsing the web and thus, I can't install anything. Which is why I need your help.

HOWEVER I have found somewhat of a loophole, which may or may not come in handy. If I try accessing a webpage through a shortcut, like some shortcut to the company webpage that gets installed with programs you buy, it lets me access the site. From that point forward however, it all depends on the website I'm accessing. I.e., on Google if I try to search from the homepage, it blocks it, but on the AVG site I can navigate to the products page (unfortunately nowhere do I see a "download AVG free" link on the products page >>). I've only tried doing this in Safe Mode.

So... Any suggestions? I was thinking about putting the antivirus installer on my external hard drive and transferring it over manually, but I don't want the virus to spread onto it =/.

By 'newest,' I mean the SCPH 9000x model PS2s -- the model number should be located along the bottom. Or something.

I just have a few simple questions.

    1. Does your PS2 become pretty warm on the bottom after, say, two hours of use?
    2. How loud would you say the fan is? Do you notice it?
    3. If you ever fast forward in a game or movie for a while, does it make clicking noises?

I'm asking because I have a SCPH 90000 JPS2, and I'm running it without a power converter. I'm sorta worried about it -- when I skip forward in games/movies it clicks; when I run it it gets pretty warm on the bottom (though I have no other slimline to compare it to, which is why I'm asking), and the fan sounds like it MIGHT be working in overdrive... I dunno. USA power is at 110-120v and Japan is 100, so even though I've read that JPS2s can handle US voltages, I'm scared I'm frying it.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Hokay KHV.

So, when you make a half peanut butter and jelly sandwich, you put the peanut butter on one side and the jelly on the other. Am I right?

Okay so, if you try a full peanut butter and jelly sandwich this way, you get a half double peanut butter half double jelly sandwich.
And if you rotate one piece 90 degrees, you get a quarter peanut butter and jelly, quarter jelly and peanut butter, quarter jelly-jelly, quarter peanut butter peanut butter sandwich.
And then if you rotate that piece another 90 degrees, you get a half peanut butter and jelly and half jelly and peanut butter sandwich.

That is a peanut butter and jelly punnett square.

...And see, that's what I just did while I was supposed to be doing my English essay.

[Got to play a Gibson Les Paul Custom on a brand new Line 6 Spider Jam amp. Holy ****. Just holy ****.

The amp was a gift to me, the guitar was... Not, but that's okay, it belongs to a family member whom I visit regularly. :'D I was happy just to hold it, but getting to PLAY it? **** yeah. I can barely play guitar though xD.

Other than that, I got a drawing tablet and clothes, and a microphone for recording stuff. AND AND. When I got back home my mom gave me the most awesome lip gloss/chapstick stuff ever. My lips have been suuuuper dry from the cold weather and learning flute at the same time, so I needed some... Chapstick smells good and all, but they usually taste like ****. THESE SMELL AND TASTE FANTASTIC. I love them. A lot.

More than that though, over the trip I got to see a lot of friends and family members... I got completely COVERED in snow in a snowball fight/snowman-fort-thing making session/rolling down snowy hills/etc, I saw Avatar, it was just... A fantastic trip overall. <3

Anyone else have a big trip for the holidays? How was/is it? 8D ]

[But you at KHV can't even bring yourselves to insomuch as MENTION it? ;___; I'm hurt. Truly.]

So today I walked in after school and let my dog out the back door only to hear intense deafening BLARING. Apparently SOMEONE, probably my MOTHER, set the alarm this morning without letting me know. And me, not knowing the disarm code, had to sit there for several minutes while my ears were raped by my house trying to figure out what to do. My mom wouldn't answer her cell phone >: .

...Then I remembered that my grandparents were told the code just in case we forgot, so I called them and was able to disarm it. BUT WAIT. THERE'S MORE.

After that was over I pressed the off button again because I thought you had to press it once to stop the alarm and another time to disarm it. Not so. It re-armed itself. And for some reason I'd already forgotten the code. I put it in wrong and it made this weird beeping noise and I was scared shitless it'd go off again....

...But it didn't, so I tried it again and got it right that time.
Then I wrote it down on a sheet of paper in huuuge letters and posted it on my bulletin board. So yeah.

On another note, I'm sixteen today, but I kinda feel like a four year old now.

    Hey everyone,

I'm currently working on a set of Death Note mouse cursors, and I thought... Well, why keep them to myself xD. But more than that, I'd like some feedback on how I'm doing since this is my first time making cursors and only my second time ever doing sprites.

I'll post them when they're all complete, but here are images of what they look like before animated.

    Click~
(Please keep in mind that TinyPic has reduced the quality... a lot).

And here's how I'm planning to set it up when finished, though you can do it however you like since each is a separate cursor (an asterisk means that cursor will be animated):

    - Apple - pointer
    - Eaten apple* - Loading
    - Pencil - Precision Pointer
    - Writing on notebook* - Typing
    - Notebook opening* - Mouseover Typing Field (anywhere you can type)
    - Open Notebook w/ Writing - Mouseover Text

At this point I don't think anything else will be included xD. Cursors are hard to make...

In any case... CnC? 8D And yes I can't draw apples.

This was done in MSPaint btw, and I downloaded a program to put them together an animate them.

I was forced into watching a movie with my mom. Jane Eyre, to be specific. And in case you don't know anything about Jane Eyre, the movie starts out with Jane's family hating her guts and kicking her out to this children's orphanage/foster house/whatever. There she meets this red-haired girl and becomes friends with her (I can't remember her name and I'm not sure if it was even given). She meets her because they all sleep in this enormous room with the beds lined up next to one another, and her bed was right next to Jane's.

The moment I saw this kid, I said, "I bet she's going to get sick and die."

That night, Jane wakes up in the middle of the night to find her GONE, of course. And she goes down the stairs and finds her in this isolated room for sick kids. Of course.

She lays down with her and falls asleep next to her. At this point I said, "And then in the morning she's going to be dead..."

....Which OF COURSE SHE WAS. ****. Am I the only one who thinks this ALWAYS HAPPENS?

    Authors have sick minds.

    >:

    Okay I'm done venting.
