Mira smiled at Miteta. Riku looked over at the view of the ocean. "Just like Mira denies the fact she enjoys all the attention." Mira looked at Riku. "What do you mean?"

Riku looked at Miteta. "Because, I didn't feel like it." Mira joined in the fun of teasing her cousin. "Did you enjoy it?" Riku instantly looked at Mira. Riku remained quiet, rather surprised by Miteta's question. Mira chuckled. "No, he just comes over. Sometimes I stay over at his house, though. She knows he wouldn't do anything to me, since we are cousins and that would be wrong on so many levels." Riku recovered and spoke up. "Even if we weren't related, I still wouldn't do anything to you."
Riku stiffened. "How'd you know about that?" Mira sighed again. "That's because I was already looking away, because I knew something like this would happen eventually if I did... maybe even worse."

There's also the fact that the awakening is so Sora could weild the Keyblade. If it was Mickey, how did he know that Riku would choose darkness and therefore the Keyblade would go to Sora instead of Riku. The Awakening happened before their rough departure from Destiny Island and it didn't seem all that clear when the Awakening happened that Riku would choose darkness over the Keyblade.
Yeah, although I feel bad for Phenox and Kairi... they have an audience for their first kiss. *sighs* and poor Mira, she can't join in in watching...
