Question: Why does Kairi have a Keyblade?

Answer: Because Riku gave her one.

Which leads to the 2 Real Questions:

    A) If Riku obtained the Keyblade, where did he obtain it?

    or

    B) If Riku created the Keyblade, where or how did he gain this power to create the Keyblade?

Personally, I think this is the first stage in a retcon of Mickey as a Keyblade wielder, or at least an important one.

Basically, after Kingdom Hearts, we see Riku as the original wielder of the Keyblade of Light corrupted by darkness and Sora as the substitute wielder of the same Keyblade.

Through the events of Chain of Memories and Kingdom Hearts II, we see Sora now as the True wielder of the Keyblade of Light, whilst Riku has accepted darkness in order to be able to fight in the realm of darkness, yet he is still able to wield the Keyblade.

    So...

    Sora: Keyblade of Light
    Riku: Keyblade of Darkness

And then we have Kairi...the TRUE wielder of the Keyblade of Light?

Yes yes, 'MADNESS' I hear you all cry, but wait, we know that Sora is supposed to be the Master of the Keyblade, but does that necessarily mean that the 'Master' wields the Keyblade of Light?

"Aw, we don't hate it. It's just kinda...scary. But the world's made of
light AND darkness. You can't have one without the other, 'cause darkness is
    half of everything.
Sorta makes ya wonder why we are scared of the dark."

Now, if we look at that term 'Master' again, we could say that a 'Master' is someone who is able to use both sides of the proverbial coin.

    So...

    Riku: Keyblade of Darkness
    Kairi: Keyblade of Light

Sora: Master of the Keyblade who brings Light and Darkness together.

Yes, yes, it's long, it's rantable, it's not well structured, so just take your time with it. :p

Because whilst my video editing software can convert to .wmv, it can't use .wmv

As for the video itself, the music has about 48 beats in total to it during that end sequence, and whilst I've seen many Kingdom Hearts II videos, I've never seen many that use the Disney Element of the series.

If I can get it working fine again, the video would continue to include the characters from Beauty & The Beast, Mulan, Hollow Bastion...

Adobe Premier? or maybe Final Cut Pro?

Anyway, to keep in check with the whole 'creativity' element of the 'Creativity Corner' here's a short clip of my Vid pre-problematic crisis so you can all get some idea of what I was aiming for.

It's .WMV format, 18 Seconds in length and its file size is 1.73Mb.

    Enjoy! :)

So there I am, setting out to make a Kingdom Hearts II AMV, and it's all going great.

-I've got my song chosen - Aerosmith's 'Amazing.'
-I've got DVD quality recordings of Kingdom Hearts II for the clips I need.
    - And I've got an idea of how I want the music video to flow.

And so I set off, not with the beginning of the video, but then end, as those of you who have heard 'Amazing' know it has a nice, steady beat near the end with just music and no lyrics whatsoever. It is this point that has inspired me to make my video.

It's going great, I'm finding the clips I need, and setting them to the beat...

    BUT:

I can't check the timing of the music to the video without re-encoding the video beforehand, otherwise the music is treated as seperate for each seperate clip in the timeline/storyboard.

So I encode, and I re-encode again, and again and every time I do, the quality lessens each time.

I decide to solve this problem, by editing the timing according to the timeline. Basically,
    - Encoding the video
    - Adding the music
    - Watching the last clip of the encoded video for when the next clip should come in
    - Deleting the encoded video
    - Cutting the required amount from the last clip of the timeline
    - Adding on the next clip

The problem with this however, is that the further down the timeline the clip is, the longer the program takes to encode it, thus resulting in the last few clips being nothing more than still images.

Thoughts - Perhaps it is because I'm encoding to a DVD Format?

Solution - Try encoding in DIVX format.

Success - No, because whilst the last few clips no longer freeze, the program for some reason adds in extra frames which I had already cut from the video.

Thoughts - Perhaps I have too many clips in the library for the program to sort through.

Delete all unrequired videos from the Library and keep those that only relate to the clips in the timeline.

Success - No, because everything is working fine, no freezing, no extra frames, but now for some reason, the video is no longer in synch with the music.

Wit's end my friends, wit's end.

Princes Of The Universe - Queen

    Here we are,
    Born to be kings
We're the Princes of the Universe
    Here we belong
    Fighting to survive
In a war with the darkest power

    And here we are
We're the Princes of the Universe
    Here we belong
    Fighting for survival
We've come to be the rulers of you all

    I am immortal
I have inside me blood of kings
    I have no rival
No man can be my equal
Take me to the future of you all

    Born to be kings
    Princes of the Universe
    Fighting and free
Got your world in my hand
    I'm here for your love
    And I'll make my stand
We were born to be Princes of the Universe

    No man could understand
My power is in my own hand

    Ooh Ooh Ooh Ooh

    People talk about you
People say you've had your day
I'm a man that will go far
Fly the moon and reach for the stars
With my sword and head held high
Gonna pass the test first time

    Yeah
I know that people talk about me
    I hear it every day
But I can prove them wrong
    'Cause I'm right first time

    Here we are
    Born to be kings
We're the Princes of the Universe
    Here we belong

    Born to be kings
    Princes of the Universe
    Fighting and free
Got your world in my hand
    I'm here for your love
    And I'll make my stand
We were born to be Princes of the Universe

Song For Ten - Murray Gold and Phil Spector

    Well I woke up today
And the world seemed a restless place
It could've been that way for me

    And I wandered around
And I thought of your face
At Christmas looking back at me

I wish today was just like every other day
Yes today has been the best day
    Everything I ever dreamed

    And I started to walk
    Pretty soon I will run
And I'll be running back to you

    'Cause I followed my star
    And that's what you are
I've had a merry time with you

I wish today was just like every other day
Yes today has been the best day
    Everything I ever dreamed...

So, you're looking at this and wondering why I think this song is one of the best when you've probably never heard of it.

    Answer - Instant Familiarity.

    Check out this Music Vid:

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NiCfCDTI8MI

And tell me that you don't feel like you've heard this song before. Now I don't mean in terms of remembering it, like I said, it just feels familiar.

Well here's the thing, you haven't. The song was composed especially for the Christmas Special of Doctor Who to mark David Tennant's appearance as the Tenth Incarnation of the Doctor, hence the name 'Song For Ten.'
