Merry Birthday, good sir. I hope you have a good one. If we ever meet in America or if you come over here to the land of tea and crumpets, I owe you a drink or two. Episodes: 24 Second Season?: Nope, It's finished. Plot Summary: Risa Koizumi, taller than the average girl, and Atsushi Otani, shorter than the average guy - their constant bickering and comical love-hate relationship is well-known throughout the school. They act similarly and love the same music, and their friendship is full of laughing, shouting at each other, and of course, lots of jokes about one another's height. But when Risa notices her feelings for Otani growing, she's worried. She doesn't know if he can ever see her as more than a friend. With her friends rooting for her, she struggles to make him see how she feels about him, and that a romantic relationship between a tall girl and a short guy can work. Oblivious Otani doesn't make things easy for her, but she stubbornly perseveres in her own unconventional way, determined for her feelings to get through to him, and finally be returned. If only she could do it without driving herself and everyone else crazy in the process... My thoughts: This is actually a rather old anime that I picked up in my spare time. It's a great example of how the classic Comedy Romance anime's can be so good. I watched all 24 episodes pretty quickly and enjoyed every single one. The characters are some awesome, lovely, and hilarious, so you don't get fed up of them at all. The story is absolutely incredible, cause despite the comedy, it still has a rather emotional and solid plot. At any rate, this is one of the top romance animes I've seen alongside Toradora and other such anime (and I've seen a lot) I definitely recommend this to people. It leaves you feeling happy and special despite all the awesome ups and downs that the characters feel. It's one of those anime that you feel you can grow with as the characters grow too. So yeah, I seriously say to give it a try. :D ~ But yeah. Anyone else watch this anime? Any thoughts and things to add etc? (Please remember to spoiler tag things if you're gonna talk about story elements, so as not to ruin things for people who may wish to watch it but haven't yet. Thanks. XD)
Episodes: 13 (so far, but may be more) Second Season?: There will be, I'm sure. Everyone is saying this was the last episode for the season, although the ending was ambiguous to whether we'll see one next week. (I'll update this once I know for sure) If this was the last ep, then there should be a second season for sure I would think. Plot Summary: The story revolves around Kinjirō Sakamachi, a 17 year old high school boy who suffers from gynophobia. The gynophobia sickness makes his nose bleed every time he has physical contact with a female. While using the bathroom he accidentally discovers that the popular and handsome butler Subaru Konoe is in fact a girl. Now that Kinjirō knows about Subaru's secret, he must work together with Subaru and her sadistic mistress, Kanade, to protect Subaru’s secret from being discovered. My thoughts: This was another of my favourites from the Summer Line up of 2011. It's wonderful, charming, funny and cute. Well, it's a whole lot more. But it's truly awesome. I love all of the characters in this. Every single little quirk that they have is played upon perfectly and the blend of story works so well that this anime will leave you laughing and crying, perhaps even at the same time. I literally can't find anything I want to fault about this anime really. lol I cannot be sure, but I believe that a second season will be coming, just based on the loose ends it had left over. ~ But yeah. Anyone else watch this anime? Any thoughts etc? (Please remember to spoiler tag things if you're gonna talk about story elements, so as not to ruin things for people who may wish to watch it but haven't yet. Thanks. XD)
So... I dunno what has happened, but my internet has suddenly gone from very fast instant loads to very slow and videos take like an hour to load where as a single page can take a few minutes alone. This doesn't happen often, but it has happened before and just randomly gets better again after a period of excessive waiting (a few weeks perhaps). Now the thing is, I've got Unlimited internet with my provider so I can't have reached my download limit or anything. The fact is... there isn't really a reason (a good legit reason) why anything should suddenly be so slow. I may call up my provider later, but to be honest. They'll probably just tell me to do the same steps of reset the router and that boring stuff which doesn't do anything in the long run. So KHV, I was wondering if you guys had any tips on how I can get my internet back up to speed. Or if you may have in fact gone through the same random bursts of slowness that I have and in fact know what is going on (with perhaps a way to get around it). One of my biggest irritations is slow internet. So yeah lol KHV, any help you can give would be a blessing.
Translated name: God Dolls. Episodes: 13 Second Season?: There will be, I'm sure. Everyone is saying this was the last episode for the season, although the ending was ambiguous to whether we'll see one next week. (I'll update this once I know for sure) If this was the last ep, then there should be a second season for sure. Plot Summary: Kyouhei, after moving away to Tokyo from his old town to get away from the events that happened, is on a goukon with his friends, including his old neighbor, Shiba. After drinking for a whole night, he and Shiba discover a dead, bloody, body in the elevator. He is told by his younger sister, Utao with her Kamisama Doll, that Aki, an old friend, and his Doll, are the culprits responsible. My thoughts: This was a favourite of mine from the Summer Line up of 2011. It's got a very dark but powerful story. You are forced to adapt and grow close to the characters right from the start, but it works really well with how they did it. The story kept me guessing and I looked forward to each episode as they passed by. The last few eps in particular had be yearning for a week to pass so I could see what happens. The main character might leave a few people frustrated at first, but that's how it is meant to be, trust me. ;) I can't say much else on this really other than. Yeah, definitely watch this. XD ~ But yeah. Anyone else watch this anime? Any thoughts etc? (Please remember to spoiler tag things if you're gonna talk about story elements, so as not to ruin things for people who may wish to watch it but haven't yet. Thanks. XD)
Episodes: 26 Second Season?: No. The series is completely finished. Plot Summary: Hanasaku Iroha centers around Ohana Matsumae, a 16-year-old teenager living in Tokyo, who is left in the care of her estranged grandmother, following her mother's elopement with her boyfriend. Ohana arrives at her grandmother's country estate to realize that her grandmother is the owner of a Taishō period hot spring inn called Kissuisō. She begins working at Kissuisō, at her grandmother's request, but finds herself at odds with many employees and customers at the inn. Initially feeling discouraged, she decides to use her circumstances as an opportunity to change herself for the better and to make amends with her deteriorating relationship with the Kissuisō's staff for a more prominent future. My thoughts: Wow. This series started in the Spring Line up and I have to say has been one of my definite favourites of the 2011 line up overall. Every episode felt special and warm and ranged from leaving me laughing, to crying or just general happiness. The anime graphical style is absolutely beautiful and has in fact won several awards for having one of the best art works of all time in any anime ever too. Every character in the story is so fleshed out that as you go on in the series, you start to feel such a connection and before you know it, you become completely sucked into each character's own circumstances and feelings to the extent that you are rooting for them in your own special way. The story itself is really heart warming and special too that it just keeps you on the edge of your seats in so many ways. There have been a lot of strong anime released this year, but this one is by far one of the strongest of them all so far in my opinion. I definitely recommend that people watch this when you get a chance. It might not be everyones cup of tea admittedly, but I give my personal guarantee as an Otaku that this anime is something special. ~ But yeah. Anyone else watch this anime? Any thoughts etc? (Please remember to spoiler tag things if you're gonna talk about story elements, so as not to ruin things for people who may wish to watch it but haven't yet. Thanks. XD)
So I was talking to some of my cosplayer friends... we set each other an instant challenge where we had to come up with an easy to do and cheap cosplay for the next Expo. It doesn't mean we will actually do it... but we had to come up with something at least. Anyway... my idea was surprisingly popular and so... I am now seriously tempted to get some Heart Shaped Boxers, get the right wig (or plain grow my hair again)/the horns, and take a simple pillow to just go to an anime expo as Vincent from Catherine. Simple Cosplay, but would be fricking epic. XD
Translated name: God's Memo Pad. Episodes: 12 Second Season?: There is a lot more manga, so I bloody well hope so! It's definitely possible. Plot Summary: The Story revolves around Narumi Fujishima an ordinary high school boy who remained isolated from his fellow classmates. One afternoon fellow classmate Ayaka Shinozaki invites Narumi to join the gardening club and introduces him a reclusive NEET detective named Alice. Alice hires Narumi as an assistant and put him to work solving the strange mysteries of 'Angel Fix' an illegal drug. Little does he know it could put him and Ayaka in serious danger. My thoughts: The provided plot summary is unfortunately a slight mislead. I mean, it's accurate, but there is a whole lot more to it too. Anyway, this has been one of my favourite series in the Summer 2011 line up. I was pleasantly surprised by it in fact. Every episode kept me interested and I was never bored once. The story and cases kept me guessing albeit I on one or two occasions was able to feel proud when I in fact solved a certain part of a case before the characters. Speaking of the characters, they are well fleshed out and I actually didn't get sick of any of them once. One thing I'd have to say is that this series had a strong start, but it was one of those series that seemed to get better with each episode too. I highly recommend this to people as it is certainly worth watching. It being 12 episodes makes it pretty easy to watch at your leisure (the first episode was special at 45 mins or so long). As for a second season. Well, there is enough manga left for them to continue, and I certainly hope that they would do so. However, it is unconfirmed as of yet. ~ But yeah. Anyone else watch this anime? Any thoughts etc? (Please remember to spoiler tag things if you're gonna talk about story elements, so as not to ruin things for people who may wish to watch it but haven't yet. Thanks. XD)
Translated name: A Dark Rabbit Has Seven Lives Episodes: 12 Second Season?: More than likely going to happen. I'll be surprised if they don't. Plot Summary: Kurogane Taito is a freshman in Miyasaka High. After an injury that prevented him from practicing karate, which he excelled in since elementary school, he had always believed that he was an ordinary, regular guy. However, due to a forgotten promise exchanged with beautiful Vampire (Most Ancient Sorcerer) Saitohimea nine years ago, he was in fact no longer ordinary. Taito later went on to regain his memories after a certain incident, and was reunited with Saitohimea. Along with unlikely allies, Kurenai Gekkou, Miyasaka High's student council president and a genius bent on avenging his parents, and Andou Mirai, a cute lightning demon and familiar of Gekkou, they have to contend against Gekkou's twin brother, Kurenai Hinata, who sought to resurrect the powerful Vampire (Most Ancient Sorcerer) Bahlskra. Unknown to them, their destinies were already woven and foretold in an ancient prophecy of epic proportions. My thoughts: So this anime was a pretty decent one in the Summer line up of 2011. It wasn't the best anime of the season but it certainly wasn't the worst. The story at times felt predictable and cliche, but a lot of anime has that now'a'days. It was still enjoyable with it's fair share of humour and a pretty darn good story. The main protagonist is one of the usual 'must be a hero, but is an idiot when it comes to girls' type, and sometimes you can feel a bit annoyed with him but every anime tends to have at least one character that may annoy. The main heroine could possibly annoy watchers too, but that is just a matter of perspective. I would recommend this anime to people if they have free time. It wasn't something that made me feel "Oh my god! Everyone must watch this!" (and there are plenty of anime that have made me feel like that) but it's certainly not a bad series. It only being 12 eps makes it easy to watch as well, and with the current ending, nothing has been solved persay as of yet, but plenty of questions have been raised which most definitely suggests a second season. However, we have no idea when that will be coming, or if they will even choose to continue it. I however see it as having potential so I do feel they more than likely will choose to continue it in the future. ~ Anyone else watch this anime? Any thoughts etc? (Please remember to spoiler tag things if you're gonna talk about story elements, so as not to ruin things for people who may wish to watch it but haven't yet. Thanks. XD)
I just got a signed Sherlock Holmes 2 poster. A Happy Birthday wish from Robert Downey Jr himself. ...My life is complete even further. *prays Kelly+Cat won't try to kill me to steal it*
Number of eps: 12 Plot: The stage is a certain port city within the Kantou region. There resides Tandouji Alma, who lives a lonely and solitary life. One day, he is approached by Aiba Ruri who asks for his help, for the power of the Sacred Seven which resides within Alma. However, Alma turns her away. In the past, Alma had hurt people with that power. Since that moment, he had foresworn it. But when the peaceful city is attacked by a monster, Alma reluctantly decides to use the Sacred Seven. However, his powers go berserk and the situation becomes even more dire. At that moment, Ruri comes to his aid by inserting a sacred stone made using her jewel necklace and transform him to his true form. My views: Last episode was today and it was pretty decent. It wasn't the best series in this line up but it was fairly decent and is worth a watch if you have some spare time. I found the ending a tad disappointing. It wasn't like it was a bad end. But I just felt I wanted something more from it. It felt a bit lacking. It doesn't look like there will be a second series of it, but it's not like they need it. However, if they did, I wouldn't complain. I just can't see where they would take it. Anyway, anyone else who watched the show. Feel free to say some more below of course. Personally, I would have liked to see more between Alma and Ruri. They didn't explore it enough in my opinion. It's very barely hinted. But oh well. Reminder: If you're gonna talk about events of the show. Please use spoiler tags so as not to ruin it for people who may watch it. Thanks! XD
Masturbation. Have you had your five a day? /Mock the week reference.
So... my background keeps on disappearing and even when I re-enter the link or a new one entirely for the background. Nothing happens... I've literally just got the plain boring background right now despite having the link put in the custom thing. Any ideas cause it was working before... but this has occurred a few times now. However, in the pat I was able to get the background back where as this time I can't. EDIT: Nevermind... got an image up again... it's just refusing to use the one I originally had and liked. I've got no idea why either... :/ Does the site not allow a certain sized image or something? I mean, it was a rather big image, so thats my only thoughts? But again, I had it as my background before... so then I fail to see why it doesn't work now...
THEY MATCH! ALL 'ZE NUMBERS MATCH! I feel special! XD ...Kinda.
So, I am going to be joining a friend's RP and I have an OC I'm planning on making, I looked around for the right sort of image but was having problems finding exactly what I wanted... So I turned to GIMP. After finding an image I could use (below): Spoiler: Original Image (this is not mine, I found this on google) I edited a few things. Hair Colour, eye colour. I added in some cherry blossoms (all hand made and took me forever to get right in terms of colour and shape and pattern lol) Her name and her title (you can guess this is a Full Metal RP lol) and that the character (being my OC) will be played by of course... me. Spoiler: My version (Yup, this is all my work. XD ...Well, other than the original render, I should say all the edits are my work lol) It took me hours just to get the eyes right in terms of the colour and the right sort of shine and shade. (and yes, she is meant to have Heterochromia -for those that don't know, it means different coloured eyes.) Hair was surprisingly easier than I thought, but still took me a good hour. After doing the main character things that needed to be changed, and adding in the name and cherry blossoms and such. I still felt something was missing. Something seemed too plain. But of course... it was the white background, so I got a nice blend of colour with a nice sort of texture brush and set to work with a new layer overlaying the original image. Once I was done, I deleted the messy parts that I needed to and made it so none of the misty background effect would be over the character. I also gave it a bit of a gaussian blur just so it looked more smoother. Anyway, you can see the final result and I must say I'm pleased. (and considering I'm self taught as in, basically... no tutorials... I'm feeling pretty proud lol) For all the hours I put into it, and it was a lot lol, I think this is one of my best works so far, especially in terms of detail and neatness. However, that is my own opinion. I want to hear yours. Have I improved from previous works etc? What do you think of this in particular? CnC? etc XD Thanks in advance and everything! :P Edit: Spoiler: OC form Username- Bushy Brow Name- Alexis Tyneside Age- 17 Gender- Female Background- (Is excused from Rule 6) Alexis's parents were Amestrian travelers before the Ishvalan war had even began. It was as they were travelling in Ishval that catastrophe struck and they were caught right in the middle of the tragedy. It was during the war that 8 year old Alexis was made an orphan when an explosion caused by Alchemy made a nearby building collapse and the falling debree crushed her parents who had just managed to push her out of the way of the rubble. Forced to wander the streets in despair, Alexis was found by a State Alchemist who had been about to kill her after having been caught by surprise. However he had quickly realised she was an Amestrian and put two and two together. With nowhere else for her to go, but knowing he had to get her out of the war zone, he commisioned her to be put into the military to get her back into Amestris since only military personnel were allowed to cross the border. This was genuinely out of kindness on his part as otherwise she would just be an orphan trapped in a war zone. So here she was... a young 8 year old girl now in military school where it was quickly discovered that she had great potential when it came to Alchemy. She was trained up and now nine years later Alexis is an Alchemist of the Amestris State Military. Despite her young age compared to other state Alchemists she is highly skilled thanks to her years of training and her fierce determination. This has put her on par with some of the best Alchemists such as 'The Flame Alchemist' among other high ranked titles. Her own title given to her is 'The Pink-Rain Alchemist' due to her unique and beautiful but powerful style of using Alchemy, and her reputation is quite renowned also for the reason of her being one of the youngest Alchemists in history. Personality wise she can be rather cold, and she tends to be a bit of a loner because that is all she really knows. She finds it hard to trust people, but it has been determined that her withdrawn nature is likely drawn from the horrifying experiences she had when caught up in the middle of the war as a child. Appearance- Spoiler: appearance (Edited image by me. Original image can be found here: http://quizilla.teennick.com/user_images/1/11/11P/11princess11/1133838629_resperfect.jpg )
This is for memorable quotes about other family members... Something you may think they would like to hear... Or see. Maybe something funny? Something cute? Leave it here! Who knows, if it's awesome enough. Someone might see it appropriate to put it in their sig! (providing they have room... ~ I guess I'll start. ~ BUTT WAXER! (...When I just typed that out, I by complete accident spelt it as; 'NUTT WAXER' - ouch... that would hurt... lol)
lol. So crazy party last night was crazy. Also, I saved a life last night. (No joke, I really did.) Anyway.. I want to apologise to any KHVers I may have messaged last night while I was intoxicated. It seems that once back at my mates house I managed to find an internet connection and hilarity ensued. I recall a few key convos, but anyone else... I am not sure :P Who knows... maybe the convos I do remember were the only ones, but yeah lol Anyway, all sober now and as a usual bonus, I have no hangover. (I never get them thankfully XD) So yeah KHV, thought I'd drop this here.
I did some research: http://mspaintadventures.wikia.com/wiki/Lord_English I had no idea I was an indestructible Demon. XD
