    Santa

Santa is a fictional character designed to make you ***** at your parents to buy you stuff. I can't belief this is here. Maybe afterwards we should debate if Kingdom Hearts is actually real...

I know, that's just sick! Everyone knows that after you squeeze their tits and go "honk honk" you have to punch them in the face.

What does rep have anything to do with this? I'm simply stating that any concept of "good" and "evil" is just as contingent as "right" and "wrong", and that you can't establish a higher good or a higher evil to things because it's completely based on a value judgement based on the current world. You yourself associated good with God and evil with the Devil, but this is just a contingent value judgement. Regardless of whether or not they exist, in another world, hell even in this one, someone believes that the Devil is good and God is bad. As I've said, it's perfectly possible that anything we consider evil could've been considered good; our definitions of the two concepts are contingent and inherent to this world alone.

Such is life. You just have to keep on going. No sense whining over the fact that the person is gone, instead reflect on the fun experiences and memories that you've had with them. And if you can, throw a pie at someone. it always gets a laugh.

This is all barring that good and evil actually exist as constructs. There are value judgements that we subjectively assign as being good and evil, but there is no standard, and the acts that we consider good are contingent on what we value in this world; as I've said, in a possible world rape is an honest way of life and killing is an acceptable norm.

Sure, but how would you tell them a part from someone who helps someone else simply for the sake of doing the right thing? If a person donates money to a charity out of the goodness of their own heart, and another person donates to charity simply so that he can further his own means (i.e. through notoriety, or feeling better about himself) how do you tell the difference at face value? You can't, so it's never safe to assume that people only do things for others if they are motivated by some personal means. You can make an inference from past dealings, but that will never carry you far enough.

Again, this is a just a value judgement of our current world. In a possible existence, being evil means that your happy, kind, and truthful and devoid of bad character traits. "Evil" is contingent on descriptions like the one you've given here, it's not the rule.

"Right" and "Wrong" are value judgements and just as contingent as "Good" and "Evil".

God and the Devil are another story. You first have show they necessarily exist. Other than that, their associations are simply value judgements. Satanist think it's the other way around. Who are you to say that they're wrong?

That's just pair bonding, not love. While monogamy is certainly a sexual behaviour among other animal species, the attachment style is simply an evolutionary mechanism to ensure the survival of offspring. Two parents are better than one, so they do their best to ensure each other's safety so as to increase the chance of survival of the offspring.

    I LOL very much.

Sadness is an emotion, pleasure is a physiological response to stimulation, loyalty is a behaviour; none of these are feelings.

Haven't heard this one before. parrots are certainly able to use language, but to the extent that they're actually communicating on they're own volition (and not cues when with a trainer or owner) and understand what they're saying is another matter.

This is an emotion, not a feeling.

This is just behavioural aggression, not a feeling.

Both series are still amazing to read. I admit that I did enjoy The Watchmen more, but I'm still going to see both on opening day.

Few people truly know who they are at the start of highschool, it simply takes a while to find that out. So it's still likely that he's identifying himself in that way more. It doesn't make him evil. He may be ignorant, but this isn't a story.

So now all this is about is hurt feelings? They'll get over it. Back to the point: why do you even care that he's being ignorant. You obviously don't think much of him. How is this effecting you, other than being called empty words?

I think there is a point. Everyone here seems to feel that being handicapped or sick deserves some sort of special merit or attention, or that because they're special we should be more sensitive for what they are. My point is that more often than not, most disabled people don't see themselves as any worse off than others. Life can be difficult for them at times, but when is it ever not difficult for anyone else. While this dude's friend's behaviour is ignorant, you're all operating under the assumption that his antics are actually offending the disabled, when they're more than likely to not give a damn. Speaking of giving a damn, if you don't like his ignorant attitude why are you trying to save him? I say **** 'em.
