Extract from the Diary of a Slave: The world's a mess. With a combination of war and steadily decreasing reserves of supplies, the world has practically ended. Those who survive are brutal thieves, or warlords. Here in what used to be Seattle, Washington, the days are fatally hot, the nights unbearably cold. Why do we stay here? There is one man who watches over us. His name is Arthur. He has created a small kingdom here and tried to make as comfortable as possible. While we are still rebuilding, things are going well. Arthur is harsh at times, but knows what's best for us. A group of fools recently escaped the slave pens. What fools. What's out there? Nothing. I've heard rumours that they're building a resistance. That they'll overtake Arthur. Not a chance. Being a slave is rough, but those guys have it rougher. This broken reality that we live in, it's about to be shattered.

Setting: In the year 2145, everything is like this. Taking place in the ruins of Seattle Washington, a small rebel force has aligned against the rule of a tyrant. This tyrant, going by the name of Arthur, has built a kingdom in these ruins, and he's not about to give it up.

Guns and such do exist, but are hard to find. The idea borrowed from Fallout: There is a type of futuristic armor called Power Armor. The only known pairs exist with one being worn by Arthur and the other in a nuclear shelter far to the south. There are three groups of people: The People (Live in Arthur's Kingdom includes Slaves and citizens), AAs (Arthur's Army), and The Eagles (Rebels). The rebels currently reside in an apartment building to the East of Seattle. The rebels have armed themselves with whatever weapons they could find, most being from a gun shop they found nearby. The rebels have mostly makeshift weapons and hunting-style weapons (bolt-action rifles, revolvers, lever-action rifles, etc. Arthur's forces are more heavily armed (machine guns, explosives, assault rifles, other heavy weapons). Citizens mostly work in auto-shops (Arthur is currently trying to get working cars) while Slaves fish and hunt. A slave is a slave from age 10 to age 30 afterwhich they earn their citizenship. Arthur has 3 advisors, a slave rep, a citizen rep, and an AA rep. The Rebels have three main branches: Scouts, Fighters, and Leaders. Scouts scout the area obviously and are very lightly armed (bolt-action rifles and pistols), warriors are only used for raids and attacks and use heavier weapons (shotguns etc.), and Leaders lead everything.

    2. 2 character max.
    3. Try to keep it as PG-13 as possible.
    4. Keep everything within the realm of possibility (your guy can't run 5 miles in 5 minutes).
    5. Just be a good RPer overall.

I'm not saying MGS isn't fun I'm just saying that I think the story's already far too complicated and now they've got tons of PSP games that just confuse me further and really don't have any meaning towards the main story. I understood everything just fine playing through 1-4. I just think that at this point, they've gone too far.
