Just messing around, trying to make backgrounds. They aren't that good, but CnC please. Under the sea: I tried to make waves here, but failed:
I don't know about that translator, but from what I know Riku means land and Kairi means ocean/sea.
It's an ok movie, not something I would pay to see again though. It's the typical 'scary' movie- almost a comedy, bad acting, etc... It was very predicatable too. You could just tell when something was supposed to happen. Here be spoilers The beginning was kind of... disturbing, since the girl watches her mother get stabbed, and most of her friends are killed in the end. Still, it wasn't too bad to see all that. So has anyone else seen it? What did you think?
That's how I feel about it, but I still read them anyway. And yeah, it comes out in May.
The faces and hair are fine, but the bodies are very flat. The arms should be rounded off, it helps to start with a base of an oval shape to get the curves of the arm in the right spots. The necks could be made shorter and thinner. Try to find referances for the anatomy of males and females to get all the body shapes and sizes right. The hands are very flat, too much like cardboard. From the perspective you drew this, the thumbs should be in front, with the fingers following behind and seeing less and less of the fingers farthest back. The noses are a bit off, the girl's should be smaller and the boy's larger. Try adding some more shading and detailing to the hair- make it look less of a chunk and more of pieces or separate sections.
That's messed up. Poor girl. And they have 3 other kids? I can't imagine what living with those parents is like..
One hour isn't enough, and most people aren't going to do it anyway. Pointless indeed.
You've got quite a list there~ it'll be useful for me =]
I don't really bother reading them cause they're so vague they could apply to anyone.
Why thank you =] Here's some more: Me again With some friends
It's not bad, you blended the colors well. The only thing that should be fixed is the boats. They seem to be floating on top of the water instead of in it, so when painting them in next time, don't draw the entire bottom, cover up the lowest part with water.

Flurry of Dancing Flames is catchy, and Silent Hero is too. It's a tie for me.
Finally! I'm not the only one who went through that with Xaldin! My luckiest moment was when I beat Xigbar. He had given me so much trouble, I had to stop playing the game for awhile.
There probably are cures out there for things like cancer and AIDS. I don't think they are kept from people because of population issues, but more for money. For example, let's say a person with cancer was given something that cured them. They wouldn't need to pay for treatments and medicine anymore, so doctors and such would lose money. And when you think about how many people have things like cancer and are constantly paying for treatment, if there was a cure the medical field would lose huge amounts of money. So we are kept from things like this so people can make thier money in the end.
It's a really good start! Once you're finished with the rest of the background, start shading and such, it adds so much to the overall look of the drawing. If you do it right, your paper won't get dirty, but if you still aren't comfortable with doing that, use some light shading just to mark where you'll do it for real later on.

The one from Titanic is good- I think it's called 'My Heart will go on.'
