Those screenshots kind of make the game look like a bit of Metal Gear Solid has been put into the game. I know it's just because the starting area is a factory, but still. Though I wonder what that triangle command above Cloud's head is for. There wasn't anything about reaction commands, were there?
View attachment 46397 Ignis waited as the group was getting prepared to get on with their trial. Karina's leave seemed to mark the time to get started, as Yue began talking about starting their trials in seven groups. Dreamer ended up interrupting her and announcing that he had gifts for them all. For his last parting gift, he gave the three mice that were with him to Yue. Yue didn't seem to be terribly pleased with the additional members, but Dreamer didn't seem to give her much choice. With that, he up and vanished. Ignis found it a little unfair that he could get through the realms without any trouble. After the nonsense had died down, Yue pulled out a card and tossed it into the air. There was a flash of light that came from the card, and then their surroundings changed. Ignis guessed they were still in the Realm of Darkness, since Yue said they couldn't leave unless they passed these trials, but at least it was a different mood from before. There were buildings all around them, and in an amount Ignis was not used to. At least, not in the sheer size. Her home town was decently large, and she'd been to her country's capital a couple times, but it was nothing like this. Buildings towered over them, each one larger then a watchtower, and some seemed to project images somehow. Ignis was amazed by what was before here, and at the same time, overwhelmed. She wondered if maybe this world was something like what her world had been like many millennia ago. She wanted to show Ray and ask him, but that wasn't possible at this point in time. The only thing that came out of her mouth in reaction to the change was a single word, with her mouth gaping wide. ".....Huh."
I honestly wouldn't mind seeing them give it a try, but I'm curious how it'd be done. Would it be anime style? Or american-cartoony style? Or something else, like 3D animated?
Aww man, I want that Roxas one so much, but I got no money. Heck, I don't ever have money to spend on a $90 purhcase
View attachment 46385 Ignis had been watching the group gather around the book that Yue brought out and noticed Karina talking with Lea as well. Eventually she ended up taking the coat and giving the coat she had on back to Kaida. There wasn't much said, but Ignis didn't mind. There were some moments where words didn't need to be said for one reason or another. As Karina walked away, Ignis only had one thing to say to her. "Even in darkness we can find answers." She walked away and put up a hand. "Good luck." With that Ignis walked toward the group, wondering when they were going to get started with these tests.
If there's still time, I'll join you for the 8-9 EST.
View attachment 46365 Ignis listened as Yue explained a little more about the Reaper's Game. Basically it seemed like it was their only option out of there, but the odds were stacked against there favor. Incredibly stacked. It certainly wasn't an easy choice for a person to make. On the other hand, she had gone through her whole life facing off with the odds, so why should this time be any different? When Yue asked if they would go with the trials or go with lea, Ignis didn't even think about her answer. "Sorry, but I'm not backing down from this. If I backed out now, I'd be giving up on everything I fought for up to this point, not too mention what I'd be giving up in the future. I'm not going to fall because some statistic says so." Ignis didn't really care too much about being a master or anything like that. If she had to, she'd keep fighting even without passing the trials. Fighting an uphill battle her whole life has taught her to fight with whatever you've got. Though a little help along the way would be nice, and in this case, she'd take the help.
What am I even looking at? What was the plot of Gravity Rush again?

View attachment 46361 Ignis watched as the fight with the witch Mizrabel ended, and she went out in a blaze of glory. Or rather, in a blaze of white light, which Ignis hoped really burned the annoying witch. After that, the castle disappeared around them, and the group ended up back outside where Dreamer was waiting, along with Lea and someone else. Ignis didn't remember seeing her before, but she figured this girl was part of the Order. Then some things happened with the girl, Yue, barking orders at Kaida, Beuce chewing Yue out, Lea acting as the middle man and convincing Yue to make them take the mark of mastery, and a couple of other things. Ignis didn't really have much time to speak out, but she had the general gist of what was going on. When Yue talked about the mark of mastery being a game of second chances, but also being dangerous and immoral, Ignis only found the idea amusing, since it wasn't much different from some of the jobs she took back in her home world. Though maybe not so much on the "immoral" side. Ignis might have been headstrong, and a complete jerk to other people, but she certainly never acted immoral. "Please just tell me that at some point we get to fight a reaper. I've been dying to get my revenge on one for a while now." Ignis had developed a little bit of a grudge against any sort of reaper after almost dying to one before, and Ray certainly never let her forget it.
It's interesting hearing Ben Diskin's natural voice, because it's exactly the same as Rokurou in Tales of Berseria than Young Xehanort's.
Ignis took part in Get'em
Ignis attacked Mizrabel
Ignis freed Luna
Now we just need to see our favorite Final Fantasy characters do their poses with this new look. But weren't we not getting any of them in the next game?
If you take guests, I'll join :p

Hey, in that case, I'm all for a remade version of FFVIII. A lot of people may hate on it, but it was my first Final Fantasy, and I actually like it. In fact, I'm pretty sure the gunblade was one of the first swords I really wanted. I still debate on getting this though. I mean, I don't hate the game, I just always had a problem with the combat and how it seemed so slow. Or maybe I just sucked
