Of course, it is a pretty big and pretty important castle.

Isa saying 'we don't have time for this' could mean something like, they only had a small window of opportunity to get in and out... which they missed. Gloriously.

So, the question... remains completely unanswered because people didn't read it correctly.

Why did Lea and Isa want to enter the castle during the events of Birth by Sleep?

My theory? They're kids; they probably just wanted to break in for the hell of it. I mean, it is a castle, and its security presents a challenge. Lea seems like the type to face challenges just 'cause they're there.

Apparently, if you comment enough on the Capcom Unity blog entry, they'll make an English localisation.

(I'd say late sixties because Layton's car is a Citroën 2CV, which was built between 1948 and 1960, and is apparently old-fashioned by the time we get to the series. The promo pic for Lost Future also has the dial stuck between 6 and 7 in '19*3'.)

Witch Trials, indeed. Layton and Nick have been pulled into a strange world controlled by the Story Teller, the evil fanfic author who is creating their crossover. Nick is then forced to defend somebody who has been accused by witchcraft, while Layton shall be... filling in the local sudoku?

    OH. MY. GOD.

The artwork is so beautiful! And the animation as well!

But this is definitely the most random crossover ever. After all, Phoenix's Gyakuten Saiban games take place in 2001-3 in Japan, and the Professor Layton series I could place at about... the sixties heading into the seventies, at the latest.

...No, I don't think Xion's coming back, or Roxas, or Axel, or Naminé.

Sora is supposed to 'rescue them', in a sense, yes. But it's impossible for Sora to bring back someone when no-one knows who they are. And it's too risky to try and call the Nobodies back out again. And we don't have a clue what happened to Axel's Heartless, but if it's still out there then there's no chance we can bring Lea back to life. What's more likely is that Sora is going to rescue them by doing what's necessary to let them finally rest in piece. Make their 'memories' happy.

After the recent digging up of some stuff from the KHII beta, I don't think they're legally allowed to.

Otherwise Woody and Buzz would've still been available as summons in the finished game and not Chicken Little.

The 'definitive difference' is that Purebloods occur when a heart is taken and absorbed by pure darkness, while the original Emblems were artificially formed around a heart, one they didn't absorb properly. Hence why Emblems drop hearts when defeated. Emblems also produce other Emblems when they take hearts from people.

As for 'when the obsession began developing', I'd say it was after Xehanort became a Heartless himself.

I'd like to think the barrel/pot was also part of the Heartless, since that bit also dissolves into darkness when you kill it. But yeah, emblem on the inside?

I'd like to hear about the guy who discovered that, if it's true. =D

Hnn... If it really is from the game, then my guess is they were going to have a front-shot at some point, but it got cut out of the release version. Because even if it doesn't appear in the final version, it doesn't mean it's fake. Remember that bit in the trailer with Ven and Terra in the canyon by Raidant Garden? And remember how that never actually happened in the game at all, despite them having recorded the voice lines?

I guess the way to check is to find a BBS rom and extract the character model for ourselves.

I'm talking about scanlations, actually. Didn't Tokyopop stop working on Kingdom Hearts II before book 3 was released (something mentioned repeatedly throughout this website)? I'm having to read scans to see the rest of the series. And goddamn it, by the way.

Also, Borders doesn't exist in the UK anymore.

I'm going to wait until I next go to the airfield market. I'm going to see if they are still selling R4s. If they are, then it's exactly like every other ban that isn't on drugs. It doesn't work at the airfield market.

To be honest, R4s can be used to trial games so that the person using it can decide what to buy; after all, it's better to get a hands-on preview of anything rather than a trailer cut specifically to make the game look better, or a front cover which can be misleading on the entire game, right down to the screenshots. I understand the good games are an epic casualty, but if you ruin the profits of companies who can't produce decent video games in the first place and therefore shouldn't be getting anything for their 'work', that's not a bad thing, right?

However, since it's still completely subjective to say something is a bad game, that means every game has to be protected. So what you should be doing, really, is placing better copy protection on games. Chrono Trigger's copy protection is probably one of the best things I've ever seen.

Also, if sales are suffering in an area because of the R4, don't do what Capcom did and remove the game from circulation in that area. Instead, take the price down, make a public plea and get people on your side.
