View attachment 49454 Kingdom Hearts will be present at San Diego Comic Con in more ways than one this year! In addition to the huge banner advertising the game, demo, and Unhooded Mickey Funko POP, there will also be another exclusive! This is a lanyard and pin set which is Kingdom Hearts II themed. The lanyard features artwork from Kingdom Hearts II while the three pins included are Black Cloak Mickey, the Heartless emblem, and Sora in his KH II outfit. Only 400 of these sets will be sold for $15 each. If you’ll be attending SDCC, they can be found at the Monogram International Booth (who has handed Kingdom Hearts merchandise in the past). Source
View attachment 49417 View attachment 49418 Thanks to pictures that have appeared online, we know that more Kingdom Hearts pops are coming! According to the screenshots above, these will be pops of Sora in his Kingdom Hearts III outfit, Sora in his Monster's Inc costume, and Donald and Goofy in their Monster's Inc Costumes. It also seems like there will be keychains for both of Sora's pops. Price and release date of these pops is currently unknown, but we'll be sure to let you know more when we find out more information!
Since the LA Ochestra event, we’ve been waiting and hoping that the trailer would be released. Unfortunately it hasn’t but it looks like someone recorded the trailer—and it’s finally surfaced online. What do you think about the trailer and the differences between this one and the previous ones? Let us know!
View attachment 49396 It looks like Square Enix is making some interesting merch! In September 2018, they will be releasing a ice cube tray with Kingdom Hearts symbols. These symbols are the signature Kingdom Hearts 'Heart', the keyblade, a Hidden Mickey, the Roxas's necklace emblem, Sora's crown emblem, and the Heartless emblem. It will cost $12 and can be preordered from AitaiKuji! Do you plan on getting this? Let us know in the comments down below!
With just a day or two until Utada Hikaru's new album comes out in Japan, we knew we'd be hearing the full (Japanese) opening for Kingdom Hearts III soon, but we didn't realize HOW soon! A video has surfaced online with the full song in high quality thanks to Youtuber htmsd! Utada Hikaru's album can still be preordered from Itunes Japan over here to check out her other songs on the album when it is released. Still no word on when the full version of the English opening will be released however. Let us know what you think about the full Japanese opening down below!
View attachment 49378 And the Kingdom Hearts Funko POP collection continues! King Mickey in the Black Coat with a keyblade will be a San Diego Comic Con exclusive, similar to the Halloween Town Donald and Goofy from New York Comic Con last year. It has not been revealed where he will be a shared exclusive too as of right now, but we’ll let you know when we know! Source
View attachment 49377 Examples of the leaflets being handed out. Photo credit to @seria18 on Twitter! Similar to Memorial Clock Exhibit in January of last year, Square Enix will be doing another Kingdom Hearts exhibit from June 25th to July 1st. This event will be less 'involved' than the previous event with a special board being posted in Shinjuku Station. These boards show screenshots from Kingdom Hearts III and include the books shown in the recap videos that were posted last week. Leaflets will also be given out at certain times of day during the event. There has also been a special website set up for those for cannot attend Each leaflet has it's own quote which seem to be lines from Kingdom Hearts III. These quotes have all been translated by Goldpanner: WOW! What do y'all think about these quotes? Let us know in the comments down below!
View attachment 49304 In some of his most recent interviews, Nomura has spoken about releasing a five-part series to recap the Kingdom Hearts series in preparation for Kingdom Hearts III. It seems that this project has just launched with it's very own (Japanese) website! The website includes links to all five videos (all of which are under five minutes long) and are split into various titles. These videos are titled (according to the YouTube video names): The Chapter of Departure, which summarizes Kingdom Hearts I The Chapter of Memory, which summarizes Kingdom Hearts Chain of Memories The Chapter of Twilight, which summarizes Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days The Chapter of Dawn, which summarizes Kingdom Hearts II The Chapter of Darkness, which summarizes Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep and parts of Dream Drop Distance. These videos can all also be found on the Square Enix Japan YouTube channel. The videos are (as stated previously by Nomura) narrated by Chirithy from Kingdom Hearts χ. These videos are currently avaible only with Japanese audio and no English subtitles. Thanks to Project Destati for posting about it on their Twitter!
View attachment 49218 Update (and edited): The limited edition that includes the PS4 Pro will include Kingdom Hearts III, and DLC for a special keyblade, and a special theme (likely the same included with the digital download preorder of Kingdom Hearts III). This version can be found on the Japanese Playstation page (but doesn't include preorder information). The price for this is ¥ 53,780 + tax. This is ONLY for Japan, currently. Original: We weren't kidding when we said Sony dropped a lot of Kingdom Hearts news! After all these Kingdom Hearts games... we're finally getting a Kingdom Hearts 3 PS4 (Pro) in the West (we're assuming since they announced at at E3). Unfortunately, nothing else is known about it, so we'll have to let you know when we know more! EDIT: Here's what the special theme mentioned above will look like:
View attachment 49217 Update: There will be TWO versions (of sorts) for the All-in-One package deal. The first is a digital download version which can be currently preordered from PSN. This costs $99.99 and includes Kingdom Hearts 1.5+2.5, Kingdom Hearts 2.8, and Kingdom Hearts 3 (when it becomes available). This version will include a theme and a Star Seeker variant keyblade (for Kingdom Hearts III). A picture of the theme has been linked below thanks to Pixxz on Twitter View attachment 49220 The second version is a physical version, which seems to be Japan only for right now. This version includes physical copies of all the Kingdom Hearts games, the artbook from the special editions, the theme (shown above), and an original box. This version will cost 19,800 yen (tax included) and can be found on the Japanese Square Enix Store Original: The Sony E3 Showcase had a ton of surprises for Kingdom Hearts! And it looks like all the Kingdom Hearts game within one package is one of them. From the looks of it though, it looks like it's only coming to PS4 (sorry Xbox fans :( ) Unfortunately, we know absolutely nothing else about it yet. We'll be sure to let you know when we know!
View attachment 49213 Despite rumors from earlier this year, it seems that there will NOT be any other dubs of Kingdom Hearts III other than English and Japanese. This means no German, Spanish, or any other language dubs of the game will be created for Kingdom Hearts III. Instead subtitles will be included for French, Italian, German, and Spanish languages. This information comes out of the international Square Enix Store pages such as the German and Spanish, which lists English as the only 'voiced' language.
View attachment 49212 Could Kingdom Hearts III have DLC? While it's never been out of the realm of possibility, a listing on the Microsoft site confirms that there will likely be SOME SORT of DLC of Kingdom Hearts III. The DLC is currently not sold separately--only within a bundle with the game that is currently available for preorder. There are currently no details yet about this, so it could be anything from a cosmetic preorder bonus, to important extra content. What do y'all think about this? Do you want DLC for Kingdom Hearts III? What kind of DLC would you like to see? Let us know in the comments down below!
View attachment 49210 View attachment 49211 And the news just keeps coming! Keychains for Sora's new keyblade called "Shooting Star" and Riku's new (literally key-looking) keyblade called "Braveheart" have been made available on the North American Square Enix store! These keychains will be available in January 2019 and are currently available for preorder. They currently cost $17.99 each.
View attachment 49194 With the announcement of the Frozen world and a new trailer, it’s no surprise that we’ve gotten new renders for Anna, Elsa and Olaf. However, this has also confirmed that the name of the Frozen world will be “Arendelle” (the name of the world in the movie as well) and showed off its logo. By the end of E3, Square Enix will likely release the renders in their entirety, along with screen shots (as they usually do after a new trailer is released).
