Too bad I can't make long posts like you guys :P I haven't played the game yet, but even before it came out, when all 3 games were just anounced, I was sure that 358/2 days will focus on gameplay rather than story, coded will focus on story rather than gameplay, and BBS focus on both story and gameplay. Xion doesn't look like a big deal to me in 358/2 days from what I've read. She's just another person (but is she a person after all?) who wields a keyblade, belongs to organisation and is tries to keep the friendship power in this KH like in all KH that have been out yet. It's not like they couldn't make her more influencial and important in this game. They easily could, but that would also make the KH series even more complicated, and we all know that now we want answers and not questions. Plus, I'm sure they have plans for the rest of the org. and Riku which will reveal everything for them, maybe mostly as a whole for the organisation except for a few individuals, and I'm sure they will reveal them on the same game and I don't mean BBS, because probably won't focus more in details but in the whole "Kingdom Hearts" idea. I'm talking about Kingdom Hearts 3. Let's not forget, that those 3 games, are nothing more than big mini-games between serious stuff in KH. They are just bridges help connect previous KH titles with the next one, KH3. The series haven't finished yet. As I said, KH3 is the next true title. Why make a character in 358/2 days just to finish her off in the end? And no reference in her anywhere else? It's not Final Fantasy games that have nothing in common between them. Everything is connected between the KH titles. I'm sure that Xion will play a role in the next KH3, and help expanding the titles. Big role or small role I don't know, but she will be a key in that game's story. Besides, if it wasn't for a new character, what could possibly be new in KH3? We know that KH3 will not be a flash-back like BBS, so there's must be something new in it, but not so new at the same time (if you catch my drift). Of course, as I said BBS will focus in storyline most, but not the storyline of org. as we know it or Riku or individuals' or details (important details). It will focus more in Kingdom Hearts, the whole idea of Kingdom Hearts, and explain things about it. It will be in my opinion the spine of KH3. What will be new and large in BBS, will be the "common knowledge" in KH3. That's why they'll use references to Xion (or who knows... maybe Xion herself huh?) in KH3. And as I'm speaking about KH3, I'll say a few things about Coded too. Coded is nothing more than a small tiny short mini-intro to KH3. Nothing more, nothing less. And a way to pass the time while waiting for the bus to come. The end :P
Yeah I agree with that the keyblade is getting overused. I really haven't quite understood why the others can hold a keyblade apart from Riku and Sora.
