Back and forth, back and forth. Celeste Charice rocked back and forth on her heels, unable to suppress her bustling energy. She hugged her stuffed monkey closer to her, feeling the homemade explosives secured tightly inside the stuffed animal. Just thinking about setting them brought a wicked grin to her childish face. She didn’t want to wait for the night to come and the stars to appear. She wanted to start a fire show now. But then that would go against what her father had ordered, and she had never disobeyed him. Celeste stood waiting, arms tightening in anticipation, her expression more calm and thoughtful.

She let out a heavy sigh. Why did time have to take forever? Why? Why? Why? Time was pointless anyways; it kept too much order for Celeste’s liking. Just like the building she was in. Oh how she wanted to see this one building burn and crumble to the ground. But she couldn’t. She had to wait for the right tiiiiiiiiiiimeeee. It was always about time. Never about now. She narrowed her eyebrows and set her lips in a thin line. This wasn’t going her way. Relent. Relent. Relent. If she did something ahead of time then one of her allies could get injured, or she could get caught hurting innocent people. Not that she cared about that, but she didn't want to draw attention from pesky humans. They would distract her from searching out the stars. Her frown dissipated and was replaced with a bright smile.

Like it or not, she couldn't burn down this building or do anything that would cause trouble. She would just have to walk around and act like a typical teenager in this world while secretly seeking out the stars. And teenagers here had the same age equivalent as the stars and people Celeste's age in Proovius, the world her father and herself were raised. The clothing wasn't at all the same, so Celeste had to do a bit of research to blend in. Human teenagers typically wore pants, hoodies, shirts, ornaments called jewelry to decorate their bodies, and other things foreign to her. Make-up was one of the strangest things to her. Were humans so unattractive that they had to use face paint to enhance their looks?

Speaking of looks, Celeste's eyes roved around the school campus, just spotting a girl pointing in her direction. She was with a small group of other females, and they started giggling like the silly schoolgirls they were. Celeste cocked and eyebrow, confused. She continued to stare as they started cradling their arms, as if they were holding and looking down at something. She looked at the stuffed monkey in her arms, realizing why she had gotten their attention.

Celeste wasn't that stupid. She knew that mostly little kids had stuffed animals and people her age on Earth didn't go around holding them in public. But this was the only thing she could think of to hold her explosives in without looking suspicious. The adults of high authority at this building had permission to look in bags at any time, and they would surely see her explosives. But no one would check what's inside a stuffed animal, would they? She smirked, noting how clever that was of her. Her eyes went back up to the group of girls, still laughing at her. Wow, weren't humans easily amused? She shrugged, turning away to find something to do before the school day began.

    the story

Many years ago, in Earth's sister dimension, there lived a race of people similar to the humans that we know. Their technology was far beyond our own and every generation bore a handful of extremely special abilities. These abilities were given throughout a generation and were given to those who had the potential to be great leaders, warriors, even kings and queens. They lived among their peers, unknowing of the powers that lie dormant in their bodies. After generations and generations of not having to use the powers, they began to dwindle. For what were powers if there was no need for them? The Grand Councilwoman of the lands knew that it was a problem, for she was a power carrier herself, and she could feel the bond loosening. The powers were there for protection against unknown evils, against the chance that someone might go the wrong way, and choose the wrong path. If those powers no longer existed, their world would be subject to the hand of any evil that came across it.

As the Grand Councilwoman neared the end of her life, the evil she feared became a reality. A man who had lived underground, building his strength and army to take over the land he felt was "rightfully his." He didn't strike right away, for he wished to win the hearts of the people by acting benevolent. The Grand Councilwoman sent out her trusted friends and advisers to find any remaining citizens with the power. It took years to find the handful that were left and still young, but when the advisers came back to the palace, with the "stars" in hand, the Grand Councilwoman knew that the only way she could save them was to send them to the dimension that she had watched for many years. Similar to theirs, but much less elegant, she knew that she would be able to keep their race alive until it was safe to come back to their own world. With the last of her stored energy, the Grand Councilwoman opened a portal to the world and said goodbye to the last six beings who would ever have powers.

Unbeknownst to the Grand Councilwoman, the evil man also had a plan under his sleeve. He knew that she would send the "stars" across to keep them safe. But he did not want them alive, for they could be a force to reckon with if they ever came back to take him for the thrown. So, he split the power he had been born with into six individuals, leaving himself almost powerless, he vowed to send them to the dimension when they were ready, to "take down" the stars that had been sent. As the six "stars" traveled to our dimension, the world they knew and loved came crumbling down. After the Grand Councilwoman's death, the man took over, killing her advisers and crushing anyone who tried to speak against his rule. His power was resolute, except for the six lights in the dark. The only hope for the people of their world.

It's been ten years since the six "stars" were sent to Earth. They do not know of their powers, or the dimension they came from. And as far as they know, they are normal humans, living normal human lives. They have enrolled in school, lived with families who adopted them, and been happy with just that. Everything seems peaceful, the sun shines down on them and they feel as if they don't have anything to worry about. The Earth is turning like it always has, but not at all as it should. In the "stars" home, He finally felt as though his "hunters" were ready to travel. Malicious and set on their mission, they were ready for the fight. They are assassins of their own kind, with a power darker than they even know embedded in their being.

To make matters worse, Earth was not as empty of magic as the High Priestess had once thought. The same powers that had bestowed the people of Earth's sister dimension also found their way to Earth. Though we had chosen not to use them, and they dwindled much faster, the sense of a threat has embedded four humans with a power that they know nothing about. They too live normal lives that are about to be shaken to their core.

The hunters have reached Earth in much better shape than the "stars" before them had. Memories intact, they begin their hunt. While the earth is far and wide, the powers have concentrated in the highly-populated Urb, a large country that overtook the United States a few years back. With no memories of their powers, no experience and no way of finding out exactly what it is they are supposed to do; how in the world are the to defend themselves?

    K gaiz, start posting.

I have this idea about making a roleplay called ɗʀəɑʍəsɔɑρə. It's basically a world that lucid dreamers go to as soon as they fall asleep, where they interact with other lucid dreamers. Then they wake up in the morning, go to school, and then recognize the dreamers from their dreams as classmates. They talk at school, go home, and then go right back to ɗʀəɑʍəsɔɑρə when they go to sleep. Each character had some sort of issue at home, so they used their dreams as an escape.

XD The plot is sketchy, so I dunno. I might assign roles and give them to people willing to act them out.
