Because tests and projects suck. This guy is ready for summer break.
Gah, I hate impending finals week.
In my opinion, that is the exact reason people were let down by not seeing it. I'm more like you, I don't care about the box, it's never a work of art or anything, but the hype is in seeing it in person. Xbox showing the console itself says to the world, "Yes, we have this figured out, we're on top of this, we aren't just following Sony's progress, we are ahead and ready to tackle this new generation of gaming". Specs will be announced to the same degree that Sony announced theirs, but they need to look for the new levels of detail and features to one-up Sony and put the momentum back in their hands.
Saw the IGN video on youtube last week about this. I'm not huge on the Infinity Ward COD games, but honestly, its Call of Duty; Its going to sell like nobody's business. That being said, the new movement features look like they should benefit the hardcore and experienced players, but newcomers might just resort to swearing at their TV screens. Couldn't you lean around corners in at least one of the older call of duty games though? Maybe not. All in all, its another Call of Duty, what more do you expect?

doesn't know what we're talking about
I love how we've been discussing hentai for 24 hours, nbd. Makes my life
I watched one episode to try it, finished the whole one in one weekend. This is by far worth a Netflix subscription alone; I loved every minute of it. The story is compelling, the acting is superb, and it keeps you engaged throughout. One of the best series I've seen in awhile.
The battery on concrete thing was true...50 years ago. Then they switched to plastic cases rather than wood, so they don't self-discharge into the concrete anymore. Yeah I get that a lot too. Just had a guy ask me if I could charge his battery manufactured in October of 1994 so he could use it.
It did end at a point where they could leave it where it lies, but at the same time, there are a LOT more questions to be answered. The public's response, their lives after that fact, the group of heroes that had formed a colony need to move in a different direction, Claire's dad is at a point where he will have to adapt, among others. And there are a lot of characters that I want to see developed further. Looking deeper into that article about bringing back Heroes mentions that the original cast will probably make cameos, which tells me a whole new storyline, which makes me even more unsure about a new season.
Or dealing with people that think you can charge your dead battery by driving around the block. Or old guys who still are afraid to set a battery on concrete
The one good thing about all this is we get to hear from Adam Sessler and Kevin Pereira unfiltered now. Kevin has a 2-3 hour long weekly web showthingy along with some other projects and Adam is back to covering and reviewing video games and the industry on Rev3Games on youtube, which is great to hear his legit thoughts and opinions on a couple of his shows once or twice a week.
He might not even know
Did anybody else watch the series? I rather liked it. It wasn't entirely consistent, but most seasons were pretty good, in my opinion. I bring this up because I read an article the other day about the possibility of bringing the series BACK. AFTER HALF A DECADE. Bottom line, anyone else have any thoughts?
Until you can't find the damn fuse that's causing the draw
Amen. Stat has kicked my ass again and again this semester
Kind of like in any horror movie in existence.
Something tells me the story would suffer if she hid really really well
Yep, the K9 (date stamp) is also imprinted on the side of the case as well as typically on the top of the case for when the battery was filled with acid and initially charged. Basically the majority of the stuff you studied is what I do. Not just changing batteries but pretty regularly tracking down key-off drains, alternator issues, relay systems, etc. We really have hijacked this thread lol
I hear you. I'm not certified or anything, I just work on my stuff and friend's stuff on downtime. I work at Interstate Batteries, so doing battery installs a few times a day is about as close as I get to doing any legit mechanical work on customer's cars
