So I'm not entirely sure if this goes here but I feel like it does. So, my dog has been getting fleas and passes it to the cat. We washed them and put flea killing powder on the carpets and washed everything but they keep coming back. But the really problem is that the fleas always find a way to get to me ans bite me up and it's becoming a real problem. I asked the rest of the people in my house and they don't get bit so I'ts only my and I seem to get three to four new ones each morning. I have over 40 now. The animal don't even go in my room.

I've tried everything. Has anyone been in the same or similar situation so I know what to do? My parent don't think it's serious so they don't do anything and the internet doesn't help.

I saw this on another website and thought it might be an interesting topic.

For me It was Burned by Ella Hopkins and Looking for Alaska.

Burned: It made me realize that your life can go from bearable to enjoyable in a short time the go completely down hill and crumble just as fast .

    Looking For Alaska:
It taught me that you should go after something you want instead of waiting for it to come to you because it will be gone before you know it.

Good Reads Summary: Harper Price, peerless Southern belle, was born ready for a Homecoming tiara. But after a strange run-in at the dance imbues her with incredible abilities, Harper's destiny takes a turn for the seriously weird. She becomes a Paladin, one of an ancient line of guardians with agility, super strength and lethal fighting instincts.

Just when life can't get any more disastrously crazy, Harper finds out who she's charged to protect: David Stark, school reporter, subject of a mysterious prophecy and possibly Harper's least favorite person. But things get complicated when Harper starts falling for him--and discovers that David's own fate could very well be to destroy Earth.

With snappy banter, cotillion dresses, non-stop action and a touch of magic, this new young adult series from bestseller Rachel Hawkins is going to make y'all beg for more.

This is an interesting book with a lot of weird and awkward twists. The main character kills a guy with her shoe so it's pretty good. I really can't think of anything else so I'll add more later.

    GoodReads Summary:
For the past five years, Hayley Kincain and her father, Andy, have been on the road, never staying long in one place as he struggles to escape the demons that have tortured him since his return from Iraq. Now they are back in the town where he grew up so Hayley can attend school. Perhaps, for the first time, Hayley can have a normal life, put aside her own painful memories, even have a relationship with Finn, the hot guy who obviously likes her but is hiding secrets of his own.

Will being back home help Andy’s PTSD, or will his terrible memories drag him to the edge of hell, and drugs push him over? The Impossible Knife of Memory is Laurie Halse Anderson at her finest: compelling, surprising, and impossible to put down.

So, at a book con I went to last month this book really caught my attention. There are a lot of people who have relatives with PTS (I don't feel comfortable with adding disorder) and I really like how the author addressed this situation. She used some of her own experiences with her father, who had PTS to write the book (sadly he died a few months ago before she finished the book.

The book is very interesting and despite the serious points there is comedy and romance in it. I don't know what else to put here but just one sentence didn't look like enough. So, um...... read the book. :\

What If I fail my EOC? I'll be a credit behind and I'll have to cut my class next school year and my plan won't work. I'll be a failure! And already failing my class, then I'll have to repeat it when I go to High School which means I can't take geometry and that means no computer science class!*ceases function*

Okay, I'm working on this story where this guy and girl meet (very original) and they become friends. The guy publishes a book of poems about the girl. You'll figure out the rest through the poems. Some rhyme, some don't. Others are free verse and others aren't. There are long ones, and there are short ones. You catch my drift? Anyway here's some of his poetry. They might be out of order because I don't have the whole story figured out but feel free to try and piece it together. I'll add more as I go.

note: the ramblings of a man

    The Red Notebook

It was an ordinary, The Red Notebook that sat on my shelf

Still, you picked it up anyway and and opened the cover

    You read
The Red Notebook and even dog eared some pages

There was no emotion on your face and you didn't make fun of it either

How was I to tell if you liked it?

The Red Notebook was closed and put back on the shelf

You walked passed my but not before you said

“Your poetry sucks, do me a favor and spare that” and you pointed to The Red Notebook

    The nerve you had

Saying it straight to my face

Yet all I could do was stare straight ahead at
    The Red Notebook

    Regret
The only regret that I have to this day
Was not having the courage to walk up and say
How much I love you and hope you'd stay
But now you've gone and with it
    My hope thrown away.

    [DOUBLEPOST=1398008048][/DOUBLEPOST]If You Weren't There
    You
    The love of my life
Swept me away with the wings of an angel
You turned my peaceful life upside down
And my tranquil oasis into a roaring turmoil
If you were never in my life what would it be?
Would I still be content with my life all alone?
Not caring what went on outside
Ignoring every call because it wasn't important
If I had never met you would I feel this pain?
A stabbing, aching wound in my heart
The whole were you are supposed to be
If I had never met you would my simple mind now true happiness?
The sound of your laughter as you flew through the room
Where we were the first time I held you as you slept in my arms
What would I call call a life without you.

    This is for you
The one who replies when no one else does
    This is for you
The one who like my stupid songs

    This is for you
For answering my stupid questions when you know I could have done it myself
And for letting me know well be looking at the same moon on a certain night

When I think there's no on there
    That no one will come
    There is always you

    Now
    For
    Once

    This
    Is
    For
    You

Man I drew this from deep down. I think I might cry. Kidding, I might have over exaggerated a bunch, it sounds all sappy (ewwww).

    Guess who it's for.

Your just put what your favorite book was that you read last year. It didn't have to be published last year or whatever just as long as you read it.

Awhile ago I read this webcomic, i don't remember a lot about it but I really wanna finish reading it. So if this triggers anyone's memory please tell me what it is.

It's set in the future and there are androids built to mimic humans and the emotions that go along with being a human, but there was some wort of flaw or something. Then later there was a toy (maybe a bear) that interacted with kids but they found a glitch in it and the inventor went to pick him up and that's pretty much all I remember. I think they went to a club or something afterwards though.

If this sounds familiar and you know the name post here.

So you know those character class types in games like FF, WoW, D&D. Yeah, so I was working on my story and I was wondering what kind of powers or traits a person in a Psychic character class would have?

Okay writing people, I'm in this writing contest but all the rules say is Adventure and 500 words. That's literally all it said. Anywho, are there any limitations on what could be adventure cause I'm still not sure what classifies as adventure. And I think 500 words is a minimun so does it really matter how long it is because I'm pretty sure it's gonna be longer than 3 pages.

Ta Da!!! I decided to post this because this section deserves more of the action. Woooh!!!

Anyway this is a list of books being published next month, April 2014. You know just in case anyone out there is interested.. I'm also including links to each books summary so ya'll can read what it's about and stuff.

Some of these that I looked at are really interesting. Like the Wizard of Oz one and a cool looking retelling of The Great Gatsby. This took a long time to type (I should start my homework), but I kinda read the summaries while I was doing it so now I want them but my lack of funds prevent that. So, yeah. Enjoy the list and reply and all the usual stuff.

    Novel Elusion

So I came across this book a few days ago on Epic Reads and it looked interesting so I decieded to got to the bookstore and get it (but I didn't have enough money so I got Champion instead :p), anywho I was going to write a description but I'm bad at those so I'm just going to put the one I found.

    Epic Reads Description:
A new technology called Elusion is sweeping the country. An app, a visor, and a wristband will virtually transport you to an exotic destination where adventure can be pursued without the complications—or consequences—of real life.

Regan is an Elusion insider. Or at least she used to be. Her father invented the program, and her best friend, Patrick, heir to the tech giant Orexis, is about to release it nationwide. But ever since her father's unexpected death, Regan can't bear to Escape, especially since waking up from the dream means crashing back to her grim reality.

Still, when there are rumors of trouble in Elusion—accusations that it's addictive and dangerous—Regan is determined to defend it. But the critics of Elusion come from surprising sources, including Josh, the handsome skeptic with his own personal stakes. As Regan investigates the claims, she discovers a disturbing web of secrets. She will soon have to choose between love and loyalty . . . a decision that will affect the lives of millions.

Suspense, thrills, and romance fuel this near-future story about the seductive nature of a perfect virtual world and how far one girl will go to uncover the truth behind the illusions.

I also found the book trailer ↓

So yeah, you guys should read it so we can talk about it cause I'm totally gonna get it.
