@Misty , clad only in bubble wrap, will perform her famous lawn chair-handcuff dance to the sounds of iced tea being stirred. And @Plums will preview his new documentary about his inability to hold an erection on the high holy days. And @Jayn , just back from her spectacular one-night engagement at the eleventh street lot, will perform Native American tribal chants backwards through her vocoder, while accompanying herself on the electric cello - which she has never studied. @Hayabusa will model the latest fall fashions from Paris while accompanying himself on the 10 gallon plastic pickle tub. And @Makaze will recount his exploits as anarchist - including the tale of the successful reprogramming of the M.I.T. virtual reality equipment to self-destruct, as it broadcasts the words: "Actual reality - Act Up - Fight AIDS
I wasn't sure if i should post this in the Help with life section so here it is. So, I got a new dog last month and she's a 9 month old German Shepard/ Greyhound mix. We're the first family she's had because she's been going from shelter to shelter and no one has wanted her because she grows really fast and is really hyper. The problem is we don't have money to buy a new house which means we'll have to rent. And none of the apartments in our area allow big dogs. Is there any place we can keep her without her going to a shelter where we can still see her?
So, whenever we write stories we pre plan them. At least half if the time at least. I know everyone has their own techniques when planning and I thought this would be a good place to share them. One of mine is that I can visualize my characters in my head unless I draw them out and I can't seem to plan out anything else before I do, kinda weird.
Does anyone who lives in the Houston/Katy area of Texas want a cat because my sister is moving and has no one to take her. I would keep her but me and my mom are allergic.
There's this new song by Imagine Dragons that they Made for the LoL World Championships or something. But I swear to god this song was sent from the Heavens.
Love. Betrayal. Murder. Valentina is living a charmed, glittering life in Miami—falling in love for the first time, showered with gifts and affection by her father, surrounded by friends—when one shocking moment shatters everything she thought she knew about herself, her boyfriend, and her world. With no one left to trust, Valentina sheds her identity and flees to Montreal, where she finds work posing for a series of portraits by a pompous young artist. Valentina has always been at home in the art world, but she's never felt quite so alone. Valentina's carefully constructed new life comes crashing down when someone from her past resurfaces, putting her safety in question and her heart on the line. With betrayal at every turn, Valentina must untangle the deceptions of those she once loved and race to find her own truth—before it's too late. Valentina Cruz no longer exists. One moment she was wrapped in Emilio's arms, melting into his kiss. The next, she was witnessing the unthinkable: a murder in cold blood, ordered by her father and carried out by her boyfriend. When Emilio pulled the trigger, Valentina disappeared. She made a split-second decision to shed her identity and flee her life of privilege, leaving the glittering parties and sultry nightlife of Miami far behind. She doesn't know how to explain to herself what she saw. All she knows now is that nothing she believed about her family, her heart, or Emilio's love was real. She can change her name and deny her past, but Valentina can't run from the truth. The lines between right and wrong, and trust and betrayal, will be blurred beyond recognition as she untangles the deceptions of the two men she once loved and races to find her own truth. So, I just heard of this book and it seems really interesting. There's a sneak peek that's about the first five chapters of the book. Ya'll can check it out I guess if anyone reads this *tears*. Anyway, here's the sneak peek.
Okay, so I don't want people thinking "Oh, it's just another fairy tale story." because it isn't. The characters are just based off them and actually have very interesting backgrounds. Especially Iko the android, because she's just freakin' hilarious. The story is really interesting and each book adds the perspective of another character. OhhhhHhhhHhhHH! And Fairest is coming out next January. It's set before the series starts when Queen Levana is 15 and goes through the next 10 years of her life showing her relationship between her and her sister and how she became Queen. There's also this small excerpt. "She felt no great loss at the death of her parents, who had been gone now for half the long day, eight artificial night. Their deaths had been terribly boring—assassinated by a shell, who had used an invincibility against the Lunar gift to sneak into the palace. The man had shot two royal guards in their heads before making his way to her parents' bedroom on the third floor, killing three more guards, and slitting her mother's throat so deeply the knife had severed part of her spine. He had then gone down the hallway to where her father was lying with one of his mistresses and stabbed him sixteen times in the chest. The mistress was still screaming, blood spurts across her face, when two royal guards found them. The shell murderer was still stabbing. Levana had not seen the bodies, but she had seen the bedroom the next morning, and her first thought had been that all that blood would make a very pretty rouge on her lips."

The first male and female who post get to be test subjects.
Why isn't there a thread for this yet. You would think someone would have maybe made a thread for this. Or I didn't look hard enough. But, whatever. First, there's this. There's a new opening sequence. And a lot has happened in the first four episodes. Like the Aztec temple under the church in an abandoned town that was destroyed by an earthquake in Mexico.....
YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
