Per discussion on Discord, I want a universal color for my handymen, mechanics, and security guards across my parks. Currently, I go by the park and its theme. For example, in Forest Frontiers, they're green, in Dynamite Dunes, they're yellow, in Bumbly Beach, they're light blue, in water-themed parks, they're aquamarine, in mine-type parks, they're brown, in space-type parks, they're dark red, and so on. Basing it on parks is nice, but I figured I'd try universal colors for a while and see how that works.

It was decided that black was a good shade for handymen. However, with mechanics, there are two common colors for mechanics' overalls based on real world mechanics: red and orange. Which one should I use?

@Mixt (or anyone else who can help)

I haven't played RollerCoaster Tycoon in general since my days on my old, now dead, computer. Anyway, RollerCoaster Tycoon plays fine, and I'm sure RollerCoaster Tycoon 2 will as well; however, because RollerCoaster Tycoon 3 is much more about the graphics compared to the first two games, issues can arise. I just installed it yesterday and am having lag issues, something I didn't have on my old, crappy computer. It's particularly when I have two—yes, two!—or more rides of any type close together. What's strange, though, is that when I record, which makes the lag even worse, when watching the recording, there are no lag issues whatsoever. So I don't know what that means? What is the issue? If the recording is fine, it can't be the computer?

Here are videos I took showing no lag:

Here are trailers of the game showing how detailed it is with its graphics:

    Here's an actual gameplay video:

Compared to the first two games:
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d34SQz95OwM

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4Rdd0d6AW8I

So you can see why issues would arise with the third game if you were on a terrible PC, but I don't have a terrible PC.

Does KH-Vids have the add-on that allows one (more meant for staff members, but permissions can be adjusted accordingly) to change the date and time of a thread or post? Some of my projects are getting kind of long and there have been some hangups when trying to edit the OP of those. My Arc the Lad: Twilight of the Spirits project is a good example of hangups happening, but thankfully that project is over. Although I did have to edit it on Saturday because I discovered a small error in a stat for someone. I'd like to split those, but keep the same date/time as the OP. For example, in my Video Game Projects thread, split out the YouTube timeline to a separate thread. I'd create a new thread and then have the date/time changed.

Alternatively, I suppose the threads could just be copied and then necessary changes made. There'd just be more clean-up needed with that one, such as deleting irrelevant posts.

I'm having some troubles that I don't know how to resolve.

If I have the GFX device of the game set to OpenGL, then I can't do anything because the game responds really slow and super laggy. For example, the signals/flashers clicking are, like, click... click... click... click instead of click, click, click, click. I can fix this by changing the GFX device to Direct3D8 which makes everything super responsive and not laggy. The problem is that then there are some visual issues, such as freeway signs or signs over trailers not displaying their text, though in the freeway signs' case, they'll start flickering for a very brief moment when I'm right by them and go under them. Other visual issues include the headlines not looking right and such.

Notice the lights look jaggedy and don't extend all the way to the building. When driving, the jaggedies will move like waves.

This wasn't an issue last time I played this, which was when I was on Windows 7 and on my now broken computer. I don't remember what GFX device was being used then, but I know the default is OpenGL.

I can post the graphics setting if needed, but I've tried playing around with those to no avail.

@Mixt, maybe this sounds like a less complicated issue than that previous big issue you helped me with?

After waking up around 7:00 AM on Saturday, I turned my computer on, but then I remembered that I wanted to clean my room—my computer desk, especially—and do some minor rearranging, so I shut it back down. I folded and put away my clothes before we went to the dump, and then I went to do grocery shopping. When I got back, I got to cleaning and doing the minor rearranging of my room—in this case, swapping the positions of my TV stand and computer desk. It was around 2:30 PM when I was done and although I still had some finishing touches, I went ahead and set the surge protectors' switches to on and turned things on. I had just opened my email on my computer and things seemed normal, but pretty much immediately afterward, emails were not loading properly. After that I noticed cable and landline phone, which is connected through the mode, also weren't working.

Four hours later and my mom was back and everything was still down, so she called Charter to discover our area had an outage—no duh!—but that some customers already had service restored, it was just a small roll-out restoration. Come yesterday morning, however, we still didn't have anything, so she called again where she discovered the reason for the incident was some idiot cut a fiber optic cable while digging, likely with machinery. Although that was supposedly fixed already, so what else was the issue? My aunt, who has a different ISP than us, saw on Facebook that another problem arose, in which some other idiot decided to fire off a shotgun that hit the overhead lines. (Whether this was intentional or not is unknown.) In the area where they were shot, however, Charter only has the lines leased to them and can't just go and fix them, and I guess there were arguments about who was responsible and had to pay for it, delaying things further. The responsible party would be the company doing the leasing in this case. It was now around 3:30 PM yesterday and still nothing, so my mom called again, where she was reassured everything would be restored by this morning and that the crew had to work slowly due to being a supposed dangerous area. I guess when were trying to fix the lines, there was a washout and they had to evacuate, but because my mom was reassured of a morning fix, she thought they had already left and were going to come back this morning. However, I guess some people were still there or something as everything was restored by around 8:00 PM yesterday.

So I apologize if anybody (who noticed I wasn't here) was worried about me because that is very unusual for me. I'm pretty upset because I had a good streak of uploads to my YouTube every single day in 2017 so far, and now that is ruined. If I had psychic powers and known that was going to happen, I would have recorded something in the morning and uploaded then.

This is just meant to be informative and nothing else.

Post here if you are tired today.

I started shutting things down around 2:10 AM, went to bed around 2:30 AM, couldn't fall asleep until around 4:30 AM, and woke up around 6:30 AM. There were two times around 3:00 AM and 4:00 AM where I almost fell asleep, but the next thing I knew, I was having sleep paralysis briefly and I was awake again. Darn it!
