I have to say that wolf is right guys, to shout slander is the argument of someone who has lost :P
Even though in the defense of everyone else, the OP wasn't exactly intelligent and began talking about something which she had no comprehension, if there is anything that annoys people trying to have an intelligent discussion, its someone who pretends that their opinion is an educated one when it is blatantly obvious that it is far from it.

On another note, this topic is really interesting because Styx is getting extremely fired up, and i like it XD But i am afraid i would have to disagree with you my friend on your opinion. And What you believe is that which has been ingrained into you due to the abrasive nature of the latter argument. But attitudes like that are the reason that it is "futile". We need to reverse the damage by changing the supposed "human condition". If we don't then humanity will die sooner rather than later. If humanity learns how to help the planet rather than slowly poison it to death i believe that humanity could progress further than it could imagine. I believe humanity has the capabilities to be immortal(not in the sense of an individual but as a society) except its too stupid to understand that killing and destroying everything that isn't convenient, it goes after this inconvenience that infringes its sense of self and freedom and erases it. Its the reason half of history is unknown to us. Change the human condition, to believe otherwise is to except the cheap nature of life for future generations.

Your statement is ignorant and your state of mind is the easy way out. It isn't Human existence that is the problem, it is the manner in which society and the culture of humanity operates. If anything Africa is the one country which should survive. What, do you think America would be the better option to survive over the rest of the world? If so you are sadly mistaken. Africa lives within its means, and while their maybe a giant population it doesn't expend resources, it doesn't go beyond it's means and it doesn't have redundant bureaucracies and democracies that are exploited by the general populous.

If you are going support human extinction the least you could do is understand that the first nation to be destroyed should be America, then followed by Mainland Europe. Those are the area's that are using up resources and damaging earth, not Africa, which is a developing nation exploited by many, both in resources and as a scapegoat for theories like yours. Humanity has been raised to believe you need to take what you want, when its supposed to be that you take what you need. This selfish attitude towards resources drives nations to war over them simply out of some self-righteous belief that their country is the greatest in the world. If you change this way of thinking than the world will benefit through humanity, not be hindered by it.

What your singularly believe is right is inconsequential, what is right is the "collective good" or justice as it is called. I believe that everyone can be swayed into believing anything you want them to, all you need to do is make them understand and to relate to it. In an idealistic world that is how criminals would be dealt with but its not an ideal world, its cruel and unforgiving and for that this man will have to pay the price not only for his crimes but for putting his own family and friends lives at risk.

Of course they are required to act but what are the chances the guards will take action. People are too self-righteous to help a man like that and i don't blame them. The is a guy who killed and maimed people in perverse ways. People were screaming and writhing in pain asking to be putting out of there misery and he walked along the beach as if nothing was going on. Prisons are SUPPOSED to rehabilitate prisoners, and for the most part that's non-existent but with a person like this, its just ludicrous. His death, his slow death is something that would heal people.

What you people fail to understand is condemning a man of this caliber to prison for one year is enough, and do you understand why? Because he will be murdered within months of being in prison. for one thing, the prisoners will rip him apart, and secondly the guards will watch in malice. He will die the way a perverse person like himself deserves. I'm a reserved person and it doesn't disturb me unduly to put a bullet in his leg and watch him scream. He perverted innocent beliefs in order justify political motives. What a fool.

If i am to make a generalization i would have to say drugs are always a good thing and have great side effects but now i shall break it down. The reason they aren't perceived as good is due to the culture of mankind. If you look at a developed nation like America, alot of drugs are outlawed, you will see a glamorization of drugs and their intake. It spreads disinformation and a certain taboo about drugs. It makes the chances of bad accidents and overdoses more likely. Now look at a less developed area like places in Bangladesh. Drugs may be outlawed but these laws are ignored for the most part, and while their are O.D's and deaths, they are far less frequent due to adequate information as to what they are doing and how to do it. Its much like Alcohol in developed cultures. Its dangerous due to developed culture but other than that its like anything else, everything in moderation.

Well personally i wouldn't really define resident evil a true Zombie survival horror anymore. back during the good ol' days of the games they were survival horrow but not anymore. the reason they changed the characters was because putting children as the main characters kept everyone on edge plus it gave the story a more gritty realistic feel. Personally if you like movies like that give I AM LEGEND a look. Its one of the best masterpiece's i've ever watched.

No i think resisdent evil and such glorify the violence which takes you out of it. The colour palette is too great and it doesn't deal with the individual.

ICSP i think this should be in another section, i.e. movie and media sections :P
I think that DC has better developed characters but marvel had overpowered characters. look at wolverine, he may be an exception to the lack of development as marvel is known for but his powers make him near unstoppable.
