I'm not surprised that Kingdom Hearts is the next game to appear in Timeline. They hinted at it when they first announced the Zelda Timeline videos on their podcast. Also the guy behind the series is a fan of Kingdom Hearts.

There is a surprising amount of negativity here towards this video. This can only be a good thing, it brings attention to a series that has fallen out of the public's interest.

Seems like it's just Japan for the moment. Though it wouldn't surprise me if it happens worldwide soon.

It's great Harmonix have done it for so long. Also with RBN there isn't too much need for them to keep on making them. They can instead draw their attention to future projects.

I personally love it. The first 20 episodes are a bit slow, but it does really pick up.

The best series of episodes is the Benizakura arc. In fact they made a movie version of it, I recommend seeing that.

Though your enjoyment of the series really depends on how much you know about anime and Japanese culture, since a lot of the jokes and references are based around that.

I personally feel the podcast needs more consistency. The people don't always need to be the same, but the format does. Everytime someone listens to this podcast they know what to expect. I don't mean formulaic, but rather you have a defined series of segments each episode. For example:

Part 1: What you up to.

Everyone talks about what they've been up to recently. This can range from games, films, TV etc. Or to something interesting that has been happening to you in general since the last time you appeared on the podcast. At the end of the day the success of the podcast comes down to the personalities and letting people get to know you all a little really helps out with that.

    Part 2: Topics and News

This one is more flexible and will vary depending on what is current at the time. Has an interesting issue come up recently? Any good news in the KH and gaming world that is worth talking about? Discuss it here.

    Part 3: Questions

Let the people speak and ask you anything. A bit of Q&A. This could vary from staff to silly questions.

    ---

This should be a natural part of the podcast.

Start out with a set schedule of things to talk about. People taking part in the podcast can say what they are up for talking about and the host filters out those topics and adds them as a part of the episode. Then before it all starts everyone has a good idea of what will come up. But as the podcast goes on and things go off topic, it doesn't matter. As long as it is still entertaining it doesn't matter at the end of the day.

Keep the name. It's a podcast aimed at this community. No need to change it.

Look at current events, anything that the community may find interesting and discuss it. If it's geek culture then go for it. For example some topics from the past few weeks:

JJ Abrams, Star Wars/Star Trek and now Valve.
    New Releases
    Sony announcement (20th Feb)
    THQ closure

Look at recent topics in Gaming and other sub-forums on the site and see what people are talking about the most.

If KH news comes then make it the main talking point in the news/topic section. But since big news is rare and KH related topics are mostly exhausted at this point let it be KHV centric. Look at what the community finds interesting.

It's an interesting idea. Though perhaps incorporate it to the normal podcast. Have regular guests who will take part in the normal discussions on the main podcast.

Have a segment where the community talk about their opinion about a topic for 30 seconds and pick the best few to add to the podcast during that section. Let them feel involved.

Got to go with Maximum the Hormone. As they are the only Asian band I still follow. I've seen them the few times they've played in London and they were fantastic. There isn't a band like them. They perfectly blend pop with hard rock/metal. Catchy and just a blast to listen to.

(only video of this song I could find on YouTube)

    Witcher 3

Can't wait. I loved the Witcher 2 and the stuff mentioned so far seems interesting.

Wonder if it will feature more Nilfgaard, which the end of Witcher 2 hints at.

    Ni No Kuni.

I've been taking my time with it, I'm now on the final boss, but I lost on the final part. Need to level up a bit and have better magical defence familiars.

How much did Koch/Deep Silver pay for Voiltion? That is a ridiculous considering how much the next bid was. They must have wanted them badly.
