Like say the last 3-4 years of your life? Where were you last year this time? Friends you miss, lost, still have? Family members you no longer talk to or cannot for various reasons? A lot happens in such a short amount of time it really does. All those good memories, all the bad ones. Things that make you sick to your stomach, and things that overwhelm you with joy. All of these things are not only a part of your past, they are the embodiment of your soul. You are unique through two aspects, your physical self, and your inner self. These experiences mold your inner self and make you who you are today. Take it for what it's worth. You have the choice to either let these things control you, or liberate you. You can never run away from who you once were, but these things are precious reminders that even though we move on, we all leave behind a little bit of ourselves in the fabric of time. I hope you realize that life is a scary set of amazing events.

I know it sounds stupid, and to be honest I've always been apathetic in this field of life because 1. I've never had to put an animal down before 2. all the pets that I've had that kicked the bucket were goldfish and hermit crabs. But today we put my cat of 11 years, Callie, down today. She was in horrible shape and it's hard. I really loved her she had a personality I tell ya! (Such a prissy princess she'd be lovey one minute and then all stuck up the next.) I was just petting her as they put her down, whispering "It's ok baby it's ok." It hurts so much. They gave me a lil' patch of her fur from the circle on her left shoulder. So I have that. I paid for her put down and for her cremated remains. I wouldn't feel comfortable with any other option. Anyways to not make this sound like a total tear-bender convention, how did you cope with your losing your pets? I'd like to know... As we near the end of 2013 and into the New Year, we just wanted to take a moment and thank everyone for a great Twenty-One-Three and how excited we are for 2014! We've had many great memories, and on behalf of the entire staff team, I'd like to thank every one of you personally. So thank you!! We hope you had a great year, and if you wanted to share some of the highlights of it, now's the time! Now, to see if you read this.
