Overlord Zetta from Makai Kingdom. I've used him before at some point, can't remember when but since I came back to KHV this year.

Honestly not totally happy with this theme I have going but it'll do until I figure out what I really want to set for it.

What if it's telepathic but that telepathy is only accessible when the creature is in a relaxed state? As it tenses up and becomes more alert, those higher functions are blocked, or at least much harder to use, as an evolutionary method to prevent distraction in a dangerous environment. Once it realises we aren't a threat and trusts us, it relaxes enough to be able to communicate.

I like it. It also means we can resolve the situation by figuring out what it wants and helping it rather than having to kill it because it's dangerous, like a lot of other situations would have ended with.

Well in the movies the xenomorphs use people as living incubators for their young, so I think that is a bit too much for our stuff, especially since it'd be really hard to save people from that. I feel like anything our crew does wants to remain fairly lighthearted and have some level of silliness to it, so assuming people agree with that sentiment we'll want to first decide on some kind of objective for the alien that doesn't necessarily threaten people with a gruesome inevitable death.

Ideally we also want the alien to be some kind of reference to a previous venture of ours. Maybe somebody that used to be part of one of the crews and then retired from it, or a recurring joke somebody had, or something, idk. I just feel that as a tribute to us it should have some relevance to our past.

Pine will be immediately flushing herself out the airlock if she experiences a single jumpscare, just so you know.
Also I have actually seen Alien if that helps.

I'd like to point out that the Train On trailer released yesterday confirms that you can actually choose to not wear a hat this time through customisation.

I got a new laptop just over a week ago and I'm suffering the exact opposite. Everything is way smaller on this one, it's definitely weird adjusting to a new resolution. But on the plus side the entire keyboard works, which the previous laptop hadn't done for months, so I can definitely live with it.

Of course they're not going to go up in ranks. Nobody expects them to. Their unique Z-move is still just a Z-move of their primary typing, chances are it's just a bit of visual flair for that specific Pokémon. And there's no harm in that. There's already a generic one for each type so if you don't like Snorlax there's no reason to use Snorlax. But for those that do like Snorlax, it's great.

This new trailer shows that certain Z-moves can be specific to individual Pokémon species, which is interesting, but leaves me somewhat conflicted. I could easily see this taking the place of Mega Evolution completely, but I could also easily see it as a supplemental thing. In addition, having both features would make the metagame more interesting, because you would never know if a Pokémon is running a Mega Stone or Z-crystal.

Rattata looks good in those colours, but the mousetache looks really weird. I'll be interested to see how Alola Form Raticate looks, though I've never really used the species before and I probably will continue to not use it unless its new design somehow really blows me away.

We don't have your fancy-shmancy air conditioning here in England. We just accept death when it gets hot or cold.

This may seem a ridiculous concern, but they seem to be revealing things very often lately. It makes me wonder just how many Pokémon this generation has, or whether we'll suddenly get a drop off as the games release gets closer because they've shown everything at that point. I'm sure the XY/ORAS reveals were much more spaced out than this.

Tortonator is an ugly thing, but not in a way that I dislike. It reminds me of Seadra or Dragalge with that snout. More Seadra because of the sharp angles involved in its design. Fire/Dragon is a good typing that I'm glad they're finally using on a regular Pokémon; prior to this only Reshiram and Mega Charizard X had that typing, and with the concern that Mega Evolutions may be removed this Gen it's nice to still have a non-legendary option to make use of it.

Crabrawler is unique. I like it's design, though I doubt I'll ever use it, since it's pure Fighting-type. If anyone was questioning the lack of Water-typing, it's probably because it's based heavily on a Coconut Crab, which are very land-based creatures. It's design is very reminiscent of Glass Joe from Punch Out, so I'd imagine we'll get a bunch of them named after him when the game is out.

Crabrawler and Tortonator seem like they could be single-stage Pokémon, but pretty much everything we've assumed that about has ended up being at least two-stage, so there's no telling whether that's actually the case or not. If I were to make a guess, Tortonator will be single stage due to its resemblance to Druddigon, while Crabrawler probably has an unrevealed pre-evolution yet, as every crab-or-similar-based Pokémon so far have been two-stage.

My intention was actually for it to be a joke category about people who talk/brag about their home country or town a lot, possibly a self-nominating category for privacy reasons, but if that's something people would want to avoid because of the real-world information involved then we can pretend I suggested Most Loyal instead.

If you want my honest opinion; Marushi is the one that came up with the ideas of both ships in the first place, so in the absence of Droid the ownership would fall to her and it's just her say-so that matters as to whether it should be included.
