So my niece has strep throat. Which I'm kind of thinking she's had in varying degrees since Easter. Kind of good news in that she doesn't need her tonsils out even if they were to the point of almost touching last I heard.

But she's had at least one round of antibiotics so at least she's getting treatment.

I almost hit a turkey on the way home from work today. Darn thing decided to start flying in the middle of the road and tried going through my windshield.

It's more of that I can never seem to get to the theatre to see the movies anymore. I'm always busy with work or babysitting or other adult responsibilities. And dvds come out so quickly now that it really doesn't bother me to not see it in a theatre. I don't contribute to ticket sales but I'm more than willing to buy the video.

Besides, I'd rather watch at home where I have access to my heating pads.

So, my Niece might have tonsillitis. Since she's informed us that sometimes when she spits(like when she's brushing her teeth) that there's blood in the sink. My first thought is that she might have a loose tooth or something. So Mommy looks in her mouth and her tonsils are bleeding. She's going to go in for a throat culture and a quick test this afternoon after school.

I hope it's nothing serious and she's just sick with some virus that she'll get better.

Sleep is something your body needs though. When you pass out, it's your body's way of saying 'Hey stupid, get your ass to bed!'. Though a sane and rational person would argue that passing out isn't really that good either and I'm not sane nor rational most of the time.

Hence why 'Blurred Lines' became such a hit. You can put the most disgusting and vile lyrics to a catchy beat and people will say they like it. Because they're not actively listening to what the lyrics are all they hear is the rhythm.

Just thinking about that song makes me feel like I need to scrub my skin raw.
