I think probably the most accessible way to get noticed by a game developer with layman qualifications is to present you idea in such a way that it goes viral. Things that go viral the quickest would be something like Youtube. So if one of the ideas works as a video, not necessarily the WHOLE (this is Final Fantasy....) thing but the gripping parts so that your audience is hooked and gets it shown around the fanbase. When people start showing your stuff on forums etc. and your screen name becomes a hallmark in the fanbase then a decent amount of people who actually make the games work would have heard of you. And so when you actually email them or something they don't write back saying "I'm sorry... but who are you?" Alternatively you could get a degree or diploma in creative writing - something that says "Yes I have learnt the tricks of the trade" and then gather a portfollio of works you have come up with, including some stuff that has been published in a university paper etc to show you know what the public want. In this case they won't say "Who are you?" because qualifications and portfolios speak for themselves. With that they will be less reluctant to work with you. Finaly you could win a design a game competition and be recognized. You could even combine all of these ideas to make one super idea :P
I pitty the Fool who implies I haven't already! Well doesn't that come under the branch of Everyone?::L:
Hello and welcome to This or That! I know, I know it sounds like some crazy gameshow, (And at sometime it probably was O_o) [SIZE=+1]BUT...[/SIZE] This isn't one of those. This is a thread to come to whenever you have a dispute on which option you should pick regarding whatever new game or console you might decide to add to your inventory. Hopefully if this idea takes off well enough it shall be stickied by the great stickie gods of mount Watchamacallit. But before that even happens (if it happens at all)... Here's some basic housekeeping: You do not talk about This or That. You do not talk about This or That. All the rules according to the rules section apply When you submit the decision you can not make you must format it using the format stated below. If you wish to offer advice on a decision do not just say "I really like [game a]! But I haven't played [game b]..." for your entire post... Explain what you know about the games you have played and what you think of the games you haven't played but know of. If you only know about 1 game then that's okay as long as you actually get a valuable (more than one line) opinion across! There are no more rules. Format: Option x Good(s): Price(s): Platform(s): Misc: ------------- Now I would do an example but I have the next best thing, an actual dispute so I'll just fill out the format! Option 1 Goods: Fallout 1, Fallout 2 and Fallout Tactics Prices: $9.99 each, $19.99 as a package (USD) Platform: PC Misc: Dealt through Steam - Currency exchange fee not included. I have played Fallout New Vegas and Fallout 3 respectively. Option 2 Good: Pre-Purchased Assassin's Creed Brotherhood Price: $49.99 (USD) Platform: PC Misc: Also dealt through Steam, by pre-purchasing the purchase is treated as a deluxe edition purchase for the price of the regular version. I have played Assassin's Creed 2 and 1 but not the handheld games. So if I've done this right you guys should know what to do. If you have any questions feel free to ask.
Heya.... You're not reportan in... I am disappoint.
And yes I'm picking this choice not as the first one but instead of testing the monster of a snadvich.
Absent Lurker reporting in.
D: no wai. Most of the humour of Finn is his naivability, the fact that he's not ******ed but he takes a while to catch on to Rachel's self-centred fast paced stream of thought makes his character very funny as they are so contrasting.
I've seen snow fall twice in my life at home. And considering P and I are in the same country that is saying something. But even if it does snow it gets nowhere near 30 cm. More like 4cm maximum D:
Love the ideas about Mongolia Monkey King. I would pratically accept anywhere in the East for AC3... I would also enjoy a French revolution time period. Or even a Jack the Ripper England :D Back on the topic of Brotherhood - I haven't seen any gameplay or anything yet... So can I ask this one question? Is there a timer for everyone to assassinate their targets? If so what is the standard amount of time? And if not how do people who just camp and mingle the whole time get killed?
Oi. You. Hello.
Theartre sports is basically drama, where all the scenes are completely off the top of your head. No practiced scenes, everything is made up on...
-_- .
OK. Will do.
Yeah I had been doing T-sports for all of high school, got into the junior team at year 10 and the senior team in year 13 so I wasn't the cream of...
Today I had a NDE [Near Death Experience] .... [I almost got hit by a bus] D: Wut about u KHVAH? WAHT NDEs has you had?
Nut gud enuf. Whu isun't ut u butch-slup? >:U
Seriously? How long has the group gone by that name? It's not anybody going "lololol WTF has a double meaning!" Unless the group was just named 2 years ago. There's a thing called coincidence... why can't the bureaucrats see that?
Pong. If you dare.
Actually Snorlax is in it. It's just that the patch is so small compared to him that his entire body eclipses it. And Snorlax doesn't need to be in long grass, his debut was out of it in pokemon Red/Blue/Yellow.
I know somebody who can do that. Even with the freezeframe and writing. It's epic. On topic: I lol'd before the punchline as I recognized big damn heroes as a trope. And I was like "Somebody likes tvtropes" XD
