I did this a long time ago, but I'm going to start doing it again since I have some more free time (for now) and I've gotten a bit better at doing this. Anyways I will take requests for .gif images to be made. If your request is a YouTube video, please include the following: 1. Video URL (Ex. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=swY-5tv7-QU) 2. Time Frame (Ex. 0.00-0.04) 3. Size (Ex. 100x100 px) 4. Border y/n and color 5. Any other details on how you want it looped Note: The higher the quality is on the YouTube video, the higher the quality the .gif will be. If the video's quality is way too low, I will most likely deny your request. Note 2: The shorter the Time Frame you request, the smaller the file size and the better the quality will be. Remember KHV has a maximum signature file size of 500kb. If your video is a different source, like say you know of a good anime episode with the exact time frames, I will be glad to download and work with it for you. Just remember: 1. The video/torrent must be a .mp4 file, I am not converting videos because it takes too long. 3. Time Frame 3. Size 4. Border y/n and color 5. Back in August, a teaser site appeared for the upcoming Black★Rock Shooter JRPG game. http://brs.jrpg.jp/ Which contains this video: It says, “In 2032 AD mankind was destroyed. Before she wakes up. She becomes RPG.” Not much is known but we should know more soon because the Black Rock Shooter JRPG will be officially announced next Wednesday. Okay since the old group was deleted we need to remake the topics and re-add people. The first topic was about the 50 minute Black Rock Shooter Ova. Spoiler My thoughts: There needs to be more. Not just because I want there to be more, but because the way the ova ends, it demands more to follow. Beautiful artwork as expected, interesting connection between the worlds (though I think there may have been to much slice of life in this one). I guess what disappointed me the most was that all the fight sequences was pretty much the entire trailer for this ova. So yeah... once again, I can only hope there is more to follow and a plot that can be better explained. I know a lot of people didn't understand what was going on and for those new to B★RS, I can't say I blame them for not understanding. The fact is, nothing was explained at all. This is why I can only assume there will be more.
Okay, so I've been told a few people lost their premium membership because of the site rollback, and I agree it is unfair. If you qualify I will restore the memberships. Post in this thread only - If you were a premium member before the site rollback. Do not post in this thread if: - You lost your premium membership because of spam. I am only making people premium to those who lost it unfairly in the rollback. I will be double checking with the other staff to make sure you are telling the truth or not. -You want to go from being premium to regular user. We don't take those kind of requests.
So as you may have guessed... a few days ago, KHV suffered the worst attack in the site's history. The recovery process has been very stressful, and to make things worse... not everything will be able to be recovered. We are doing everything we can to make sure this doesn't ever happen again. Now to break it down... Site Related: - Some of the cutscene and audio archive pages need to be fixed, this should be finished hopefully by today. - We are having problems switching the skin to something other then the default. This will be addressed asap. - Homepage has alignment/graphic issues, that will be fixed soon. Forum Related: - Everything after August 8th, 2010 is gone. Posts, threads, PMs, VMs, friends you made, groups you made, avatars you had, everything. Unfortunately that's something we lost for good. - Sections should be fine, staff were adjusted accordingly. - Search indexs need to be fixed again, I will get around to that at some point. Hey guys, he's just a a quick list of what's to come within the next week or so. The Good: - KHV will be upgraded to vB 4.0.x (not sure which one). This will open up new opportunities for design and plugins as well. - There will be a new skin. (still in production) - Audio Archive will be updated further. - Homepage will have work done to it. - Server will be cleaned and organized. (ongoing) The Bad: - All our current skins will be rendered useless in vB 4.0. (at least from the start) - When we get the vB upgrade, we will have to start off with the default skin. This means KHV will more the likely be shut down temporarily while we finish installing the new skin to go with vB 4.0. How long will that take? To be honest I'm not sure. We will keep you posted throughout the maintenance though. Before you ask "Why 4.0 and not 3.8?", the cold truth is that the support and updates for 3.8 are already starting to be neglected by vB. We don't want to be left behind again on our version. We ask that you please bear with us while these changes are going on. The staff will be working very hard to make sure everything goes smoothly. So the people that usually sub the second season of K-ON (CoalGuys) I guess were on vacation this week so another fansub group had to take over.
