Well...whether or not they make my car go faster they always look kind of cool... (shot) Seriously though, I do not like being spoiled. I dislike being rushed, and usually when I'm spoiled thats exactly whats happening to me. Someone is making me experience the ending or a major part in a plot that I have not gotten up to yet. As a result I feel it pretty much kills the story as a whole...and I don't think anyone likes when that happens.
Power is an individual's ability to execute an action. It's also a tool. Sometimes people add negative connotations to power, saying that its evil and what not, but in some senses you have to go with the argument "guns don't kill people, people kill people." Power corrupts people as much as McDonalds food makes you fat. Can eating too many french fries hurt you? Yes. Are french fries by themselves bad? No. Power also makes things happen. No matter how you use it, if you don't have any power, you can't do anything. Personally, power itself doesn't invigorate/reduce me. Gaining/reducing power does though.

Well I think its mainly for cinematic purposes to have a combo finisher there, since most of sora's finishers are a flash of light, which goes perfect with destroying darkness. In order to make things a little easier on you, it might be a good idea to equip negative combo as an ability.
