Tearaway is the most violent game ever. If paper cuts were instant kills.
That is the truth... in my own eyes.

Worst thing I can say about Gone Home is the price. Expensive for a two hour game. But definitely a great amount of time to experience the world and story it explores. The mixed reviews are usually arguing whether it's a game or not, because the gameplay is minimal. Which is stupid. I think you'd like it.

And Sony cleaned up, Last of Us and Tearway picked up about 8-9 awards in total.

Rockstar got the honours. In kilts. Scot POWER!

Hideo still can't speak much English, bless him. He seemed like a ventriloquist dummy.

Glad that Ashley Johnson won for performance, her or Troy Baker deserved it, just glad it was her a bit more.
Also, Rockstar being recognised as a whole company is amazing to me, but not undeserved.

Your footage is incredibly dark to me. Not sure if that's your footage or ripping or something. Might want to filter next time.
I think one of the reasons they upped the idea of the deaths was for the same reason it was upped in Dead Space, because we love violence. That and the team probably thought it was somehow unique. Idk.
The games have always had fantasy elements in the plot. An ancient evil from within the tombs, etc. It's based of Indiana Jones films after all. But the story is boring in my mind, and inconsistent a lot. The biggest issue you'll hear is the first kill Lara does all emotional and all, but after that she mows down anyone without a flinch. Feels like the director and the individual writing and design teams either didn't realise it, didn't care or didn't have time to rectify it. Square are happy pulling the plug on franchises if they ask for more time or funds if it's not a Final Fantasy game.
The accent is ok, but it's an American doing it. She reverts back to her natural voice when she tries to sound stressed, and sometimes since she can't hold the accent whilst sounding emotional, she just sounds flat emotionally. Least that's what I got. A lot of mild voice acting.
The game reminded me the most of a linear Far Cry 3 in third person. Which was disappointing after already playing Far Cry 3. I honestly wouldn't have recommended it, as much as people called it their game of 2013. If you like Uncharted, this was a good change of pace.

Thomas Was Alone. I'll await the thoughts.

But playing a 70 hour game twice is there really a remarkable enough change in the experience to not feel like nothing new is happening. The combat would still be the same, and multiple choice stories are still fairly linear-ish in their structure. I should know, I played Mass Effect like 10 times over.
Still, whatever you like of course. Not really that bothered, just saying you could be playing something newer and potentially better.

You do know there are plenty of more fishy games in the sea right?
I played Gone Home over the weekend, 2 hours of a great experience Short, sweet and memorable. Moved onto another after that.
I honestly don't get how people can commit themselves to JRPGs these days, because they're exceptionally long with not enough buzz to stay constantly great. Persona excused.

So you're already slogging through it, but you want to complete the whole game, again. And the side quests.

I know, I know, I tried. That is all sound advice.
I always try to be economical. I'm still trying to abide by the rules of writing, economy, clarity, and so on even in essays and articles so on.
Looking back, I think I focused a lot on one text compared to the other. 1300 on Pudd'nhead Wilson and 700 on Souls of Black Folk, hmm... also the intro was 300 or so words, too much for this sort of length essay. Still, reading back I don't know what i could've cut away.

Happy with the score so maybe I should stop complaining.

I've only seen this being played and was my first exposure to the Attack on Titan. So I had completely insufficient knowledge on what was happening, but it looked fun.
A Spiderman game mixed in with light fighting and big enemies with big attacks and small weakpoints. I can understand the appeal, even if I am not a fan and don't care to play it.
