Kross blinked at Leo's news, that did seem strange..the camp being deserted. The men were either gone or waiting for them. He nodded to the people's words. He focused forward, his steps light and careful.
Kross was about to reply when Leo stepped in, blinking at his words before scratching the back of his head. "Anora and I were discussing Krowley, remember that guy we met earlier? He mentioned a krowley..I wonder if it was that masked guy we saw when we got here."
Clearing his throat, Kross's blush quickly dispersed as he paused, looking over to Anora."So, that man we had encountered, he said he knew a guy named Krowley, I don't know what he is talking about, do you?"He asked, wanting to be sure they got back on track. He wanted to complete the mission.
Kross listened with widened eyes, it did sound opposite of his homeland. It seemed to be a very strict society with a hint of segregation. "Wow..I never knew, Pepper Island never has standards related to Gender, it's something I couldn't get used to."He said, smiling to her and walked along, putting his hands behind his back."Well..err.."He smiled, his cheeks a little red."You are a very pretty young woman, I wouldn't doubt that men would be looking to court you.."He said, smiling nervously.
Kross's light brown eyes grew with bright. He was glad to answer her question. He took his time, remembering what his home was like."Well, Pepper Island is split into two parts, the residential area where people live and the forest area where the animals live. Our home is called pepper Island because of the vast Pepper plants that we depend on for our economy. The people at my island are mostly either merchants, street performers, or shopkeepers but they are really open and very friendly."He explained, scratching his chin."It's nice where I live, decent weather all year around, and the island has the prettiest beaches."He said, smiling over at Anora."What about you? What is Vamacara like?"He asked.
Kross nodded and walked a little behind Anora, smiling."Yeah, and it's definitely different from Pepper Island where I live, We have forests but nothing this large. I can't wait until we get this done. I'm kind of nervous though.."He scratched the the back of his head. He smiled to Anora and dusted off his Hakama."I think we can do it..but still, fighting isn't my most favorite thing in the world.."
Kross saw the man introduce himself, seeing him jump off. He frowned and scratched the back of his head."AH well, we'll say hey to him later"He said, smiling softly, then turned to Anora."Sure! Let''s go."He said, feeling a small pang of jealousy, but quickly shrugged it off.
Anora was not the only one gathering her courage, even when this man had a point, he could not help but feel concerned for their fellow man. It wasn't assuring that he had high defense and some of them knew Cure, it wasn't that..it was the fact that Lars had to go in in the first place. He paused, hearing someone and his keyblade appeared, his eyes turned to see the man, eyeing the keyblade he held."A wielder?"
Kross was a little more worried, if the plan failed, they could all be hurt, Lars in particular since he was the bait. He bit his lip, but went over to Lars and put a hand on his shoulder, looking him in the eye."Lars, are you sure?"He asked, worried for his comrade.
Kross processed the information exchanged, he knew there was something going on..but a trap? Why would someone want to trap them? Ohh..he knew he was not ready for this. He hurried, catching up with them."So who WOULD be smart enough to do this? The masked guys Master Yen Sid warned us about?"
Kross frowned, feeling a little put-out by the man's harsh murmur. He looked down for a moment and then glanced over to Anora, smiling weakly."Yeah, nice to meet you too."He said, seeing her go over to someone. He went over and kneeled, breathing and carefully started turning him over.
Kross smiled at Anora, nodding when she introduced herself and then the quirky keyblader. "I'm kross, I'm a mystic too! And I can summon my keyblade too"He said, smiling big. He saw the newcomer and nodded."Yeah, we should go help them."
"I'm not letting war tear up my future, look what it did to my past." Kross blinked, he was being taken to the General? But why? He had done nothing wrong! This wasn't good though, he was forced to comply to keep himself from being blown to pieces or shot. He frowned, following the soldier at a decent pace. He was hesitant about this, what if they threw him in prison?
"Wait for me!" Called out Kross. He bit his lip with worry, the other guy may be hurt..but he had to escape, this was not something he would let go though. He jumped in. He was shocked at the fall was so long. He braced himself and bent his knees, landing in a kneeled position."Whoa! That was close." He breathed out, shocked that he didn't even break anything in that fall, that would have been bad. He looked to the others and smiled, turning to them."Sorry I was late, had to gather my courage, you know? The trip was tough."
"Guys!" Called out a chipper and cheery voice, Kross ran towards the tree and climbed up, going to meet them."Hey, did you just get here? This is great!"He said, smiling softly.
"I'm not letting war tear up my future, look what it did to my past." Kross looked at the Pulse Lilies again, what was he supposed to do..? He wasn't ready to do..anything. He had no idea when he could draw his weapon and considering the danger that Gran Pulse provided, He was sickeningly aware that he may never have the strength. The sounds of feet shuffling the ground distracted him from his thoughts. His arm was yanked, forcing him up to his feet. He looked in surprise at the soldiers pulling him along."What? Wait, I..I didn't do anything wrong!" He tried his darndest to pull away, but he was never very physically strong. He could only comply, frowning, what did they want with him?
"We gotta save the world?"Kross froze, he didn't see this coming. there was just no way he could do this, could he? He reachedh is hand and a spark of light appeared. His Kingdom Key appeared in his hand and he slowly touched it, sighing."What if I can't do it? What if I freeze up?"He said, looking down, then turns and hurried to the Guild Hall. he knew the Master would be waiting for them.

Kross looked at the letter and then at the tower. He was nervous, but as he heard, this Master was well versed in magic. A master Yen Sid, he had not heard of the man, it seemed as if the master was shrouded in mystery. He walked up the stairs and pushed the doors open just a crack, just so he could get in. He heard the commotion and looked in the direction, seeing a group of people. He walked up, his smile soft and he bowed his head to the master, doing his best to show his respect and waved to the others."Hey guys!"He greeted in a chirp, smiling sweetly.
