I adore how a good deal of this is connected directly to the Electronic music community. Personally, I find electronic music to be one of the most banal and most lack in structure when it comes to music. Often. It takes a really good song from this genre to make me feel like they actually tried. All the same, what musical atmosphere doesn't have its share of drug users? What? Are we going to say: "Don't go to Music Concerts, or you'll die"? And yes, there's a drug community that exists in this day and age that's tediously obligatory. Many older people will chastise a young celebrity for even the least heinous of drug charges, but for the youth, it's another day in Dubie park. I've never smoked anything, and I don't drink. I'm naturally mellow, and I have an addictive personality. But I do use at least one harmful drug. Caffeine. God, I wish I'd never drank a single soda in my life. Nice little stimulant that makes you feel like dying is a good idea if you try to give it up, and it's so readily available. "Hmmm, I'm out to eat, and there's a Soda machine. I'll treat myself. And continue to treat myself everyday at every meal because even though I finally managed to give soda up, I now want this at every waking moment again." Is Molly=Caffeine. Of course not. But I don't quite judge the parents who don't let their kids drink soda at all... I used to too. My advice: At least think about what you're putting in your body the first time you do it. Especially if that thing has billion dollar advertisers.

@Ienzo yeah. I work on building up because it makes me feel unhappy to be thin. If I haven't made the point clear before, then I'll do it now: just as it's perceived in the media it is unacceptable for a woman to be anything but a size zero, and progress is being made in that department to make curves more popular, thin men are simply not men. I live as a "Steve Roger" among men with guts thinking they are closer to Captain America because they are more solid. We're apparently women, because I have yet to know a girl who is fine with seeing a guy who either weighs as much or less than she does. I've had girlfriends, but 9 times out of 10, weight has been an issue. Not on my part, but it turns into my problem. I'm getting a lot peace from reading from everybody else. So much understanding of both sides of the spectrum here. I just want to say thanks as a guy from an area where everyone has a little packed away always for the Winter as far away as Spring. Where I live, there's virtually no fat shaming because there's rarely a person big enough to stand out. So to me, "thin privilege" is all the more laughable, but that doesn't mean I don't get where it comes from. It's one thing to want to change for yourself, but when that gets mixed up with having to change so you can live among short-sighted people, it gets rough.
Oddly enough, I came across this earlier in the day on Facebook in another form. One of those practically obligatory condescending taglines like "90% of the American populace can't pronounce this" was certainly included. I read it aloud most of the way with attention to the detail, but HONESTLY who is familiar with the names of any of the Muses (Rhymes, somewhat, with "trickery"). I was tempted to record (Which, mind, is not something you put on a record player) this piece, but many of these are words I don't even use. Ask anyone who knows me, and they'll tell you that's an arguably daunting task to undertake to find a way to do that. Looking up some words though, I noticed Gooseberry is Gusberry, and the humor stays alive; or is it humour? Not to mention the fact many of these words are borrowed directly from other languages, which, at the root of things, is really all any language is, but sobriquet keeps its original pronunciation intact; with no lack of me saying that tactfully.
Chapter 4: "It was a make shift lab you see." Try to stay to one tense, even though this line does add a nice little compliment of color to your writing. Second person is EXTREMELY difficult to write in, so I suggest trying to avoid it in this particular story since the rest of the story is in past. "but the castles master", edit. Make it "castle's". I liked the use of the word "pervaded". Sometimes overused, but I feel it works here where the instant is pretty much tangible. The story itself permeates. "interesting, plants". "interesting plants"; unless someone's addressing the plants directly. >> Try this: "...a cat; but not just any cat however." I like Exodus. Is Professor Griffon Spoiler Eddy all grown up after losing Spoiler Ed and Edd though? The Spoiler jawbreaker bit made me burst out laughing when first revealed. This. So much this. Ahem. I am 5'7-8", and I weigh somewhere in the neighborhood of 130 lbs. I live in America. I can't tell you how many times I've been affronted by beefy (More cheeseburger than steak, but their solidarity makes it hard to convince them that their chub is not, in fact, any better than my litheness) people simply for being quiet and skinny. Women, often ones I'm interested in, often tell me "God, I wish I had your body" and not in the way one would hope. Always women with all but the fewest exceptions. I can't help having a fast metabolism, and yet I am to be nothing but reverent to the populace around me since I am one and they are many. Why is this a problem? You don't want to be skinny. Even working out as much as I do, I'm basically human shaped, but still relatively weak because my build simply can go so far. People, I believe, in general are estranged entirely to the concept of what is thin and fit. They assume no problems come with being thin, and all their problems will disappear once they lose weight. So, in turn, it makes to shame me, the thin mildly fit guy who has all his problems put together, right? God, I wish more recognized it was wrong. There's no privilege that inherently comes with being thin. Being too skinny and being too fat are generally unhealthy, but due to which way the scales tip (no pun intended), the majority of the populace will think the grass is greener on the other side, and so they fall into despair. Simply, here's the way I see it: Think of three potters. No, none are Hairy or Harry. They make clay pots. All three potters order the same exact shipment of the same kind of clay. The first potter, skinny, gets no clay at all, and still is expected to make pots from his lack. The second, average and fit, gets the right amount and if he works, then the pots will be made, but if he falls behind, he will become like the third who gets far too much clay at once and cannot keep up with the supply side. Nobody has it easy.

He'd been in the film business for many years, and so things like this did not bother him; it was commonplace by now. "Can I get you something, Mr. Dixon?" Asked his secretary. "Coffee, Janice." Walt's reply was mumbled and curt, not out of rudeness, but instead merely the result of work-related fatigue. Walter Dixon stretched out his long, thin arms wide and yawned deeply. He'd woken up after passing out from work to do more work. That was, ultimately, his life. His life was also keeping his daughter out of trouble, but she was an adult, and Walt convinced himself that she could look out for herself; no matter how difficult it was to convince himself of that when his daughter had nothing but a penchant for trouble. I became a movie mogul, and my daughter became an actress. How can a father do so much wrong?" The lilt in his deep, easy voice suggested he was joking. "You could do worse. Did you hear about the incident last night?" "No, I hadn't. What incident?" Walt replied, somberly, and was answered by the younger Dixon whispering in his ear. His eyes went wide as he heard the news. "I...I have to make a call. If things are getting that bad, we need to make sure we're staying as far away from it as we can possibly get." Belinda left and Walt dug into his cluttered top shelf in his crowded desk. Grabbing his phone, he tried to control his breathing; tried not to panic. Walt browsed his phone contacts for a rarely used contact before clicking the Call button. Walt was simply a family man, and the urge to protect what was left of his family was all too important. I know it quite well, actually. My Great-Grandparents, who were my Maternal Grandmother's parents, were Italian Immigrants who met in the United States of America (Arranged marriage). My Maternal Grandfather has the most mixed heritage. He's got lines of French, Irish, and one Mohican around Civil War times (As far as I know, there are two notable details: It was between a French descended individual and not an instance of sexual molestation, which was common to take advantage of the indigenous peoples.) My father's side is just as interesting to me. His mother can trace her lineage back to the Mayflower, as many can, but either her grandmother or her mother still had the last name of the original settlers. My father's father was descended from Canadian Catholics who were actually criminals of England who had left Scotland and were Protestants before moving. Converting was a part of losing notice, and they shortened their names, taking the "Mc" out. I carry that very name, even though my parents never married.
