This week we've got administrator Okabe Rintarou, also known as Roxasvsriku, in the spotlight~ Same as usual, I have some rules for you guys regarding Question Time. Please note that the limitations on questions are a bit different for Staff/Prem Question Time than it was with Normal QT: 1 - Keep it within the rules of the forum, nothing over PG-13. This is still on KHV. 2 - The person in the spotlight does NOT have to answer all the questions. 3 - The person in the spotlight will have to answer the question on a regular basis, daily would be preferred, so dedication will be needed. 4 - You must be nominated in order to be in the spotlight. 5 - Don't start an argument with the person getting questioned. Keep it clean and don't use it as an attempt to flame the person. 6 - Don't ask too many questions. Give the person some time to answer, and let others have a chance to ask. Maximum amount of questions asked to the person in the spotlight by one member is 10, and no more than 50 questions can be put forth at one time. Once that member has answered you may ask more. If you ask more than ten questions at once your post will be edited, and if you continue to do so you may be taken off the list for the following week's vote. And with that, get asking!~
[video=youtube;Ri52SC34p0c]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ri52SC34p0c[/video] Anime: Highschool of the Dead (no worries, nothing inappropriate) Song: Four Minutes by Madonna feat. Justin Timberlake and Timbaland I couldn't find a HSOTD video with this song which was kind of strange so this weekend I took it upon myself to make one x: . Didn't have anything against the song personally but now I'll probably never be able to listen to it again LOL Spent the last two-ish days on this. Still tweaking it, so any constructive criticism is greatly appreciated. =]
Sorry this is a tad late! Vote gogogo.
Yup, this week in the spotlight we have KHV's resident taco, Chevalier. As always, there are some rules you need to be aware of before you get to asking! If you ask more than ten questions at once your post will be edited, and if you continue to do so you may be taken off the list for the following week's vote. A'ight, go for it~
Hello, members of KHV! We have some important information to relay to you today: we have received an alarming royal message from her majesty the Queen of Hearts herself! If we don't meet her demands, it may be off with all of our heads -- and we need your help to meet them! The letter instructs as follows: So there you have it! We have been cursed... honored with the Queen's invitation to her own exclusive Valentine's Day Tea Party. We need to send the guest list back to the Queen so that her court can set up the Tea Party with enough concessions. That being said, the next task falls to you: If you would like to RSVP (get a spot on the guest list), please post below! There are two ways you can reserve a spot: - With a chosen partner. Make sure to consult the person in question first, and make sure they agree. Post both your names here. - As a single guest. Simply post a confirmation of intent to attend here. You will be placed into a pool with other guests who did not sign up with a partner, and a partner will be chosen for you randomly. We will close sign-ups in a week (February 1st). Remember to expect ANYTHING at this crazy party! Don't let us down... our lives depend on it! - The KH-Vids.net Staff
Hey guys, did you miss me? 8'D Last poll was a tie, soo vote gogo.
my entire day has been nothing but SHAKE SHAKE SHAKE SENORA on repeat
Okay so basically, every time my computer goes to sleep, it cuts me off from the internet. This is normally no problem but if I am, say, waiting for a message or want to leave something downloading, it makes it so I either have to turn the sleep function off entirely, or stay at the computer constantly. Further, every time I want to use my wireless printer I have to reinstall the drivers, which is quite frankly ridiculous. I did a little research on it and found this, and a few other people around the web with issues and solutions just like it. But the problem for me is that the Power Management tab is simply not there. When I get to my WLAN adapter properties and click configure, I get just four tabs: General, Advanced, Driver, and Details. None of them have a readily apparent way to change the behavior of the adapter so that it doesn't cut off when my computer goes to sleep. I've also tried to go into Windows' Power Options in the Control Panel, but I couldn't find that option there either. ...Is there something really obvious I'm missing here? Any help would be appreciated x: .
I hate Mondays.
It's only a few days into second semester and I already want it to be over ;~;.
Going out of state for a week-long holiday trip early in the morning, so I won't be around as much =]. I'll still have internet, so I should be able to get online some. I'll be back on the 29th. Be good~
when you check your grades online and just refresh the page over and over waiting to see if your grades are in even though it is midnight and nobody is putting any grades in at this hour ...*F5*
Hey everyone, and welcome back to our forums! As you can see, we've moved several things around and made quite a few changes. Thanks for all the patience, and we hope you like the new arrangement of our forums! Note that because of the magnitude of this re-arrangement a few things might be a bit out of place; if you notice any problems please do not hesitate to contact a member of staff so we can get it fixed for you. Additionally, we are still working through a few changes and moving stuff around. Because of this, AutoPM is temporarily disabled to prevent people's inboxes from being flooded. If you have any questions, we are more than happy to help. Below is a full list of changes: Spoiler Community Category The Rules category has a new name! Introductions/Departures have been renamed Chamber of Waking/Chamber of Repose and moved upwards in the Community category. Community News & Projects has been put in place of Forum News [KHV]Podcast, [KHV]Top 5 and [KHV]Fandub sub-forums have been moved to Community News & Projects and received slight name changes. Suggestions has been placed at the top and received the Name Feedback and Assistance. Forum Issues has been moved as a sub-forum of Feedback and Assistance and renamed Site Assistance. Kingdom Hearts Category News & Updates has been moved to the Kingdom Hearts Category; updates will still appear on the homepage. Upcoming Kingdom Hearts has been opened for general series discussion and theories, but still retains the upcoming games sub-forums. Kingdom Hearts, Kingdom Hearts II have been moved as sub-forums, to Kingdom Hearts Console Games. Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix+ sub-forum has been removed, and all threads pertaining KHII Final Mix will have the [Final Mix] prefix. Re:Chain of Memories has been moved to Kingdom Hearts Console Games as a link forum. This will direct you to the Chain of Memories sub-forum. From this sub-forum, you may find the [Re:] prefix on threads. A prefix is something that goes before a thread to distinguish it, in this case, threads with the [Re:] prefix are threads that talk about Re:CoM. Kingdom Hearts Handheld Games remains as is, except that the Re:CoM sub-forum will direct you to the Normal Chain of Memories sub-forum. However, you can easily use prefixes to search your way around. Subforums in the Kingdom Hearts Extras were removed, and now everything "extra" will be discussed in its main section. Kingdom Hearts Help Remains as is. Hacks & Codes Category General Game Chat has been moved. In its stead, we have a new category for codes! Code Vault is still the place to post codes. Other Codes sub-forum has been added for any codes that aren't Kingdom Hearts related. The Coder's Corner has now been renamed New Releases but still serves the same function. Video Showcase takes the place of the Video Warehouse, however, it's only to used for hacking videos. Other Videos sub-forum for non-Kingdom Hearts hack videos (still under construction) Interests Category Discussion remains as is. Usual Spot has been dismantled; most of its sub-forum contents have been moved towards either Discussion and Spam Zone or Playground Gaming has now taken the place of the General Game Chat category and placed in Interests. Future prefix plans are being discussed. Technology has taken the place of Tech and Tech support, and moved towards Interests. Movies & Media's Music sub-forum has been made into its own forum in Interests. Movies & Media remain the same otherwise. Literature remains as is. Creativity Corner Category The former name for the Creativity Corner is now used as a category to encompass the many user-made arts and creations. Production Studio remains as is, aside from the shortened name. The former Creativity Corner is now called Writer's Nook, no other changes made thus far. The Role-Playing Arena is no longer a part of Fun and Games. Full list of changes here. Fun and Games Category The Spam Zone and The Playground have been divided. The Playground will hold all the forum games, while the Spam Zone will still have all the off-topic crazy chats. Forum Families will remain as is for now. Again, keep in mind that staff still need to move many things and possibly re-structure some rules and make new guidelines, so please bear with us. It'll take a while, but hopefully things will look great in no time. Again, welcome back, and happy posting! - The KH-Vids.net Staff
I was feeling really awful earlier but of course now that it is 1 in the morning I am feeling perfect and wide awake ...so don't mind me just not getting any sleep ;~;
A'ight guys, it's time for another week of Top 5 results! With this we are all caught up and back on schedule for next week, which, if all goes as planned, will have results posted on Saturday. Just a quick note, I am aware many of you are missing Top 5 pins since we got behind; Not to worry, I will be handing these out throughout the week so you don't need to send in requests for them. =] 1. Kingdom Hearts - Watch Over You Submitted by: Lea Song: Watch Over You by Alter Bridge ft. Cristina Scabbia Details: Short but sweet, this is a really emotional video with good flow that highlights the dynamics between the central characters in Days. It was really creative and a great watch. Link: http://www.kh-vids.net/media.php?do=details&mid=890 2. Dreaming With a Broken Heart Submitted by: minicoop55 Song: Dreaming With a Broken Heart by John Mayer Details: Fantastic flow and delicate effects really helped set the atmosphere in this video; it's very smooth and absorbing to watch. While sometimes darkened clips don't work so well, I think the increased darkness/contrast and glow effects worked really nicely here. There were a few moments where I think some of the timing could have been a bit better, but overall, very very well done. Link: http://www.kh-vids.net/media.php?do=details&mid=894 3. Zack the Unknown Soldier Submitted by: Cloud4012 Song: Unknown Soldier by Breaking Benjamin Details: This video paid careful attention to both beat and lyrics, and it really paid off! Despite being more on the action side of things, I felt it flowed pretty well for the most part and fit the music really nicely. Only real complaint I have is that the audio bit in the middle was a tad loud, haha. Good job! Link: http://www.kh-vids.net/media.php?do=details&mid=896 4. Jump - Kingdom Hearts & Final Fantasy Submitted by: Kisala Song: Jump by Simple Plan Details: I thought you did a great job with hitting beats using the flashes in this one, and the clips were well chosen to fit the atmosphere, though I wish you fit the lyrics a bit more closely. A solid and straightforward action video. Link: http://www.kh-vids.net/media.php?do=details&mid=895 5. Does my keyblade offend you, yeah? Submitted by: Monument_X Song: Wondering (Dirtyphonics Mix) by Does It Offend You, Yeah? Details: This video manages to produce a really cool, kind of unorthodox effect in its dark clips and frantic, chaotic music. While I do think you could have hit many more beats, it's a really cool concept with a simple execution that's interesting to watch. Link: http://www.kh-vids.net/media.php?do=details&mid=893 Congratulations to all who placed, and as promised, you will be getting a Top 5 Pin if you haven't already got one! Haven't placed yet? Don't give up! Your video certainly was not bad, and you may place in a future week =].
Hey guys, this is the last week we need to catch up on, and then we'll be right back on schedule with the Top 5! Very few videos submitted this week, but great as always. 1. Roxas' Rage Submitted by: VentusRoxas Song: Final Hour by X-Ray Dog Details: Really cool effect in using the overlays and text in this one; they helped to highlight the important parts as well as make it fun to watch. Good job~. Link: http://www.kh-vids.net/media.php?do=details&mid=882 2. Final Fantasy 7 tears Submitted by: Cloud4012 Song: Toriko Tears by Uverworld Details: Well-done transitions make this a really smooth piece that moves well with the music. I found it really impressive. Link: http://www.kh-vids.net/media.php?do=details&mid=889 3. Kingdom Hearts - What You Don't Know Submitted by: watchesyoushower Song: What You Don't Know by Jonatha Brooke Details: I thought you sacrificed a few beats you could have hit in order to maintain flow, but it was worth it -- this worked well with the music and matched the lyrics. Link: http://www.kh-vids.net/media.php?do=details&mid=883 4. Kingdom Hearts Kamikaze Submitted by: Marushi Song: Kamikaze by Owl City Details: The choppiness as an effect was a pretty cool concept, but requires very precise timing! A really entertaining video; in terms of critique I would just say to polish up the cuts a bit =]. Link: http://www.kh-vids.net/media.php?do=details&mid=885 5. This Night Will Never End Submitted by: Cloud4012 Song: In Fate's Hands by the Red Jumpsuit Apparatus Details: Placed twice this week~ Pretty good action video; though I would be careful about timing & lyrics, it hit the important beats. Link: http://www.kh-vids.net/media.php?do=details&mid=886 Congratulations to all who placed, and as promised, you will be getting a Top 5 Pin if you haven't already got one! Haven't placed yet? Don't give up! Your video certainly was not bad, and you may place in a future week =].
Hey everyone! It's time again to put up another past week of the Top 5. With this, we're almost caught up (one more week to go), and then we should be right back on schedule~. Apologies for getting behind, and a huge thanks to Chevalier for helping me get back on track =]. 1. A Halloween of Fantasy Submitted by: Cloud4012 Song: This is Halloween by Marilyn Manson Details: Simplistic but well-timed transitions and effects made this a really great way of getting into the Halloween spirit. The sepia toned clips gave it a really dark and spooky effect, and the clip choices were really creative. Well done! Link: http://www.kh-vids.net/media.php?do=details&mid=869 2. [W H I S P E R S] - [Birthday AMV] | [Audition] - [Distinctive Memories] Submitted by: Hayato Song: Whispers in the Dark by Skillet Details: There's a lot going on in this one, but great attention to beat and lyrics made this a really cool video to watch! Nice job. Link: http://www.kh-vids.net/media.php?do=details&mid=868 3. Rescue Me Submitted by: VentusRoxas Song: Rescue Me (How the Story Ends) by Kerrie Roberts Details: This is a really impressive video, especially considering it's only your second one with Vegas! A little choppy, but the overlay is great and you fit the lyrics well. Link: http://www.kh-vids.net/media.php?do=details&mid=877 4. destiny never waits for it's chosen {Square-Enix AMV} Submitted by: Equa Song: Destiny -Taiyou no Hana- by Shimatani Hitomi Details: Edited simply, but it worked really well, like a trailer of sorts. I would just say to watch your timing a bit, but you did a great job of highlighting dramatic moments with the music. Link: http://www.kh-vids.net/media.php?do=details&mid=867 5. Final Fantasy X - Save You Submitted by: lilalex Song: Save You by Simple Plan Details: This one didn't focus much on matching beat and lyrics, but it was also a really good display of the struggles faced by the central characters you chose. Simple, but nicely done! Link: http://www.kh-vids.net/media.php?do=details&mid=876 Congratulations to all who placed, and as promised, you will be getting a Top 5 Pin if you haven't already got one! Haven't placed yet? Don't give up! Your video certainly was not bad, and you may place in a future week =].
