I just... yeah. Never got around to combining the two until now. I'd heard about the concept years and years ago, and I was intrigued a bit since I thought it was an odd combination. But yeah, I never actually got around to trying it until today.

We had Raspberry and Apricot in the fridge. I went with Raspberry.

Just because 'one' is stated in the rules... To be frank, it's better to just avoid both Godmodding and Powerplaying in general. So the meaning persay (or which one has which) doesn't matter XD. Just as long as you don't do either of the things.

Anya Kurse glanced at the Teacher as she announced she'd next be performing. She saw the glance at the cameras and was also aware of what was going on in the Teacher's mind. Security would be coming to end the class prematurely. The performance from earlier as subtle as it was definitely had caught their attention. However... Anya didn't panic as she emerged from the shadows of the corner she had been looming in and slowly approached the stage, all eyes glancing at her as she did so. All the students knew it was odd. She was willingly coming up for a performance despite her reputation? Something was coming. All of them knew it, even the Teacher. Anya despite how she was had to respect Madame Lumia though. She believed in self expression and was sticking to her guns even though she knew what it would mean to do so. Especially since... there was no doubt in anyone's minds that Anya's performance was gonna be anything but subtle. ...And they were right.
Anya had no intention of beating around the bush. She may not be an artsy student, but if this was going to be a self expression task, then she certainly was going to express herself no matter what it might mean. Doing this could result in something far worse than the White Room for her. Even death. Regardless, she continued to step up to the stage, right until she stood dead on center. The room had gone quiet. Even the stupid bickering from the back of the classroom between the group that had performed earlier was eerily quiet.
'What was she going to do?' A lot of the students must have been wondering. ...Well, Anya wasn't about to waste any time.
So she started.

Everyone would be confused at first. She seemed to just be standing there. Her vivid yellow eyes closed. ...A look of concentration came onto her face as she started to force her power to work.
"Look!" A member of the class suddenly called out as they finally noticed it.
Anya's face was starting to morph, and even her skin tone was starting to change colour. Normally, transforming would be quick and seemless. Anya could easily transform her body into a deadly weapon instantly. However what she was achieving here was very different. She was taking the form of somebody else. She had to focus to get every groove right, each part of the structure right, every wrinkle, and line, every shade. But at last... it was finally starting to take form. Her face was resembling what she was seeking it to be, and the whole class, even Madame Lumia recognised it.
Finally, Anya opened her eyes. The vivid yellow was gone. Instead, replaced by dull red. Her bright orange hair had changed too to thick white locks. What was once a feminine face was completely gone. In it's place was the face of a 50 year old man, and her dark skin tone was now completely white, which clashed with the rest of her body. It was the face of the infamous School Councilor. Mr. Blood.

Such a thing would probably seem comedic if not for the seriousness of the situation. Some might have laughed, except instead that dead silence remained. 'Why?' They must be wondering now. Even Madame Lumia must be extremely curious to see what she would do next.
It was just as Anya planned. This was a direct statement. She wasn't leaving anything in simple hidden messages. She was being straight out open and expressive. Some might have viewed what was happening a brave, and others as stupid. It mattered not to Anya. She knew it was both.

Now, she raised her hand and that too began to change, the transformation extending up her entire arm, albeit a lot smoother and faster than her forced transformation of facial features. Replacing the feminine hand was a deadly set of claws. Now... some of the audience may have caught on. Others may not have. But Anya wasn't even paying attention to the audience. She instead was looking straight at the security cameras watching them. She was looking at what she knew would be the man she was imitating watching her from behind a screen, along with many of the other staff and security of the Academy. Her claw arm came up and before the audience could even gasp, it came down, slashing big gashes into her own face. A face that looked like that of Mr. Blood. Now, blood was dripping to the floor. The face was now disfigured, but slowly those gashes were already starting to close up thanks to her regenerative abilities, so she bought the claws across her face again. She didn't utter a single word. She didn't wince or show any signs of pain, and yet the silence and simple act spoke volumes. This was a statement, but it was more than that. It was upfront disobedience. It was rebellion. It was a promise.
Anya was running out of time, but she'd already achieved what she wanted. She knew that only a few seconds were left. Security would be here to disrupt the class. To take away the trouble makers, and to stop her outright horrifying masterpiece . So last but not least, she raised her claws one last time, made a rude finger gesture to the camera and then thrusted her claw inwards, plunging the long nails into her gut. As a river of red ran down her abdomen, she collapsed forward onto her knees and then face first to the floor, the transformation reverting entirely.

She'd be defenseless against oncoming security, sure. But there was no point fighting them anyway, and besides... she'd already won the battle here. She'd done more damage then any physical action could have achieved. She wasn't in any mortal danger. Her regenerative powers should save her now. Of course... that depended. Were she to be tossed into the White Room right now, her powers would stop because of the Rendium and she'd surely bleed out. It entirely depended on the risks she already knew; that this performance could in fact kill her.

Regardless... before everything went dark, Anya did have a deep smirk on her already healing gashed face. She may not be an art student, but she had put on one hell of a show, and at least in her mind... It was worth top marks.

Alexis could hear it... the sound of voices... Familiar voices. Why were those voices familiar? ...She'd never been able to think such a thing before. ..."Oh god, no. Luce! Luce! Alicia! Goddamn it, Alexis!!" He... he actually got her name right. What in the name of Hell was going on?
Her eyes slowly opened, but they fluttered shut again. It's like the lights weren't working. Everything was blurry and moving in and out of focus. Then, she felt the only thing supporting her weight be ripped away and she was falling, but only for a split second before strong arms caught her. It then occurred to her for the first time that she had been hanging upside down. 'Come on Alexis... snap out of it. You have to be sharp. This is not like you.'
"Hang on." She heard a voice from next to her as she was placed down, her back supported by the vehicle she'd just been rescued from. ...That was Scott right? His voice seemed agitated. ...Ah. Of course. That's right. It was coming back to her now. Sort of... there had been an accident. Yeah... there had been..."WHY THE FUCK ARE ALL THESE SEATS EMPTY!?Come on! Luce! You saw her right!? TELL ME YOU GOT HER OUT!"
Luce was gone? ...Yes. That was it... ..Crap. Luce was gone. Even Alexis knew how bad that was. The panic of her older siblings, in particular Scott was very disturbing. This was all wrong. She had to... try and tell them what was going on.

"Unnn.. ...Mulligan.. Scott..." she managed to force her voice out. Yes... she was able to speak. This was good. She needed to explain. It was important. They needed to know.
"W-we were... driving and Luce was... doing her whole 'shut up or I'll slit your throat' thing. Everything was just... normal. ...but.. Then...
It all happened in less than a second. There was no time to react at all. There was a scream. ...I think it was Eliza.
This red-haired boy just...popped up in the back seat. No light, no cloud of smoke, he just came out of nowhere. He was just... there. I'd barely turned around when he said Luce's name and... reached out and then... next thing I know... I can't remember it completely... It was just... waking up. The car wrecked... That... boy is gone, and there's no sign of Luce. Just...gone. Both of them."
That was it... she'd told them. Unfortunately though... it seemed to be news Scott hadn't wanted to hear as he approached her, knife in hand. She just stared him in the eyes as he approached, meeting his rage with calm. She couldn't move right just yet. Her body was refusing to obey her head. She felt dizzy, but she just stared at him with bland eyes. Closer he approached her. Step by step. "Control your temper. I don't know why... you're angry, but stabbing me won't make us find Luce... any faster." She spoke, her voice calm, if a bit slurred from her dizziness. She didn't know what went on in Scott's head. He was one of the few she couldn't read. She could only gather that he had temper issues based on what she'd seen before and now. Was his temper enough to make him kill her? She didn't know, nor care. It simply came down to one thing; Would the muscle-head see sense? Would Mulligan be able to intervene? Or... would she meet her end here?
It was really as simple as that. She'd survived all this time alone, and if she were to die now because she'd stopped relying on just herself, then it was simply her own error that caused her death.

Just wanted to say, Adam hadn't saved Alexis in Supernatural. He saved one of the new girls. Just thought you may want to know.

Personally, I think you need to cut the elemental control entirely.
Most mutants only have like one power, two if anything more.
Look at Scott Summers for example. He only has laser eyes. Does that make him weak? No. He's very powerful, he's just specialized himself in that ability.

For one, the way you've written his powers is so vague it gives him a lot of flexibility (which isn't a bad thing at times, but in this case there is too much). You need to be more concise.
Try to think of a way a power gives other benefits instead of giving the one character loads of different powers.

For example: The super strength. Now I can see that as well as making him super strong, he'd naturally be very tough due to his muscle density and the like. So he'd be more durable and so on. That could perhaps increase other things like strength would naturally give him more distance when jumping and so on. But be reasonable about it too. Keep in mind that our mutants are new mutants. They haven't mastered their powers etc, and they still have a lot of development to go through.
Give yourself a place to rise too. If you start out at 100% in the RP, you've got nowhere to go and level up to as the RP goes on.

This brings me to my next point.
It is very rare a mutant has their powers at birth. Most develop it during puberty or during childhood where cases of extreme stress and the like draw out the latent abilities, like consider Magneto and how his powers awoke when he was being torn away from his mother at the concentration camps.
Meanwhile, some examples of mutants with powers from birth include Mystique and Nightcrawler, but yeah.
You might want to reconsider when he got his powers.


Frankly, it's up to you. These are just some guidelines I thought of when I looked at your character sheet.
As I said, I think the thing you need to work on more for this is to be concise and tone it down for the start of the RP.

A good example of a character sheet to look at would be Nilin's.
She's stuck to one power theme, which is water and looked at the various ways she can work with it. She's given herself plenty of limitations to the power too. Not just the natural limitations of water, but she's also looked into how her character's inexperience would effect it and how it can later grow into more expert control.

The wind rushed around him. ...Everything was blurry. What had happened? He opened his eyes, but the big bright vast amount of blue blinded him, making him force them shut again. ...He felt weightless. His body was soaring, descending through the air. He was...​

His eyes shot open.
He was falling. Falling from the sky itself. "What the-...?" The boy mumbled. Why was he falling?
The last he remembered was..."Renton!" Her voice called out to him.
He looked around wildly for the voice her recognized so well. She had called to him. Renton Thurston.

He spun around wildly in mid-air, falling faster still. His gaze settled on the wasteland below that was looming ever closer, and giant colossal machines that didn't look like any LFO he had ever seen. These things were huge, and there was something horrifying about them.

"Renton!" Her voice called out to him again.​

That's right, he and she had been in flying in Nirvash, about to fly into 'The Zone' ...Or they had flown there? What had happened after that though? Renton remembered being washed over by what seemed to be many different colours, and then he'd blacked out. ...Or had he? It was hard to be sure what had happened, but right now, she was nowhere in sight, and Nirvash wasn't either.​

He rolled over in mid-air to stare up at the vast sky that was above him. The sky he had started falling from.​

"Renton!" And that's when she appeared, in the mighty white LFO, The Nirvash TypeZERO, flying towards him on it's board, desperately trying to catch him.​

"Eureka!" He shouted back to her in turn.​

The cockpit of Nirvash opened as Eureka increased the speed of her descent, zooming as close to Renton as she could, and reaching an arm out to him.
He too reached out, their fingertips making contact but not being able to grab onto the other.
His eyes stared into hers as they both continued to fall, arms extended, but unable to reach to the other. He gulped, and shut his eyes tight in concentration. ...What had been those words he'd told himself since the day he first met Eureka. The words he had heard from his sister, which Holland had muttered, and had come from Renton's father himself, Adroc Thurston.
"D-don't..." He stuttered, before gulping once more and yelling them out and reaching forwards even more. "Don't beg for things! Just do it yourself! Or you won't get anything!" And at last, their hands made contact, gripping the other tightly, and with combined efforts, Eureka was able to pull Renton inside the Nirvash before closing the cockpit. Both of them panted heavily from their effort. "Are you okay Renton?" She asked him.
"Yeah. ...Thanks Eureka, you saved me." Just as she had done before. He remembered the first time he had met her, they way she had stared at him with that emotionless expression. It hadn't been long, but she'd started to change the way she spoke to him now. Renton felt that tug at his heart like he had done the first time he had laid eyes on the beautiful girl before him. Suddenly, the Nirvash swerved automatically by itself, avoiding a gigantic laser blast that had been shot at them from one of the giant beings below. "Nirvash!" That's right. Nirvash had just saved them. This LFO was incredible. It was said to be the first ever LFO, hence why it was known as the TypeZERO, and according to Eureka, it was in fact alive. Regardless, both Renton and Eureka had no time for rest right now, more giant lasers were coming their way. Sharing the seat, both Renton and Eureka piloted the Nirvash, surfing through the air on it's Ref-Board and dodging the lasers with great speed. They dropped down to earth and pulled up at the last second so they didn't hit the ground and zoomed underneath the giant machine's legs before zooming up the sky and flipping back up in a perfect 360-drop turn so they were facing and zooming to the giant beast again. The Nirvash pulled out two blade like objects and slammed hard into the enemy before it, but even with the Nirvash's speed and power, it was useless. The Nirvash was knocked backwards with ease as Eureka and Renton got shook about inside. Another laser was fired, hitting the Nirvash instantly from close range. Renton's heart was hammering in his chest, he could feel it, the pressure closing in all around him, but more importantly... he could feel the warmth of the girl next to him. ...He'd protect that warmth no matter what it took. "Eureka! The Amita drive!" Eureka's expression looked to be shocked for a second, but she nodded quickly. "Right!" ...This had only worked two times or so, and the circumstances to actually make it succeed were unknown, but both of them knew this was their only chance. Nirvash would be completely annihilated any second, and them with it. There was no way they could let that happen. There was no way HE would let that happen. "LET'S GO! NIRVASH!" Renton roared out at the top of his lungs as his hand and Eureka's both came into contact with the Amita drive inside Nirvash's cockpit and a magnificent glow covered them as Nirvash exploded with power as their feelings and emotions resonated.
This... was it. This was the power of the Seven Swell Effect. A rainbow aura of Traper particles surrounded Nirvash as it starting flying forward into the laser fire, the laser deflecting harmlessly off and being dispersed. A randbow trail being left in the Nirvash's wake. Both Eureka and Renton yelled out as they closed in on the enemy before the Nivash collided and actually tore through it's hull and emerging the others side.
The giant mechanical being shuddered for a moment, before collapsing to the ground and creating a massive explosion that would be seen for miles and miles around.
This was far from over though. That explosion seemed to have attracted the attention of the other gigantic metal beasts, and already, the Seven Swell Effect on the Nirvash was already starting to fade.
Just what the hell was going on here?

I just wanted to say thanks to everyone again who RP'd with me in this. It was a lot of fun and I got a lot from it.
I'm sad that it ended like this... and gutted that I missed the mark by a few single minutes... but...

Fair is fair. The rules were clear, so yeah. I can understand that and accept it completely.
Either way, I'll miss you all and the chats we had in the skype convo. I'll miss the RP and the characters too.

Personality: Ellie is generally a calm and kind girl, who tries to do her best to make the best of a situation. She can be timid at times, but when she has her mind set on something and is determined... you can be sure that she won't quit on her friends. She would rather die than do that.
Biography: Ellie was raised in a normal environment, by a normal family, with two sisters (one older, one younger) and a younger brother. She went to a normal school and just enjoyed life.
With her type of personality and cute looks, she was fairly popular.
Her powers surfaced one day when a boy started flirting with her and that boy's girlfriend noticed and started a fight with poor Ellie. Having hardly any experience in direct confrontation of that sort... Ellie panicked and before she knew it, the girl was on the floor unconscious... electrocuted.
Not understanding what had happened... but somehow in her heart knowing the truth... she was like the others... the ones that had been on the news... she ran.
She ran away... not knowing where she was going, but knowing she had to run.
She was later found by the X-men and taken to a school for people like her.
A school for the gifted. Ellie is now getting by as a new student trying to gain control of her powers, in which recently another has surfaced but she can't control it that well yet.

• Electrokinesis- Through mutation of the bio-electric currents in her body... Ellie has become immune to electricity and has also gained the ability to control it freely. She can generate her own electricity from her body and also use electricity from sources around her. This power has found other useful appliances too; by channeling the bio-electric current in her body, she can use it to manipulate cell-growth rate and as such has minor regenerative abilities.
• Invisibility-**Ellie's secondary power. She can appear invisible via the manipulation of the light around her. Currently she finds it next to impossible to do it in broad daylight, but she has no problem using and maintaining this power from the shadows where there is less light to focus on.

Other: Ellie seems to have an unnatural (but none mutant) ability at reading people, she can tell when someone is upset even if they are hiding it well. She can also usually discern when someone is lying. Generally, she can tell a lot about a person from the first meeting too.

OOC: I apologise for the most random post ever... I couldn't think of what to do with any of my main guys, and so... please enjoy the melodious tones of a certain Damn Old Fisherman known as J. Arthur Heckles:

"I'm ROOOWWWWWIIIIIIIIIIIIIIINNNGGG!" The Fisherman roared out over the sound of splashing waves.
It was unfortunate, but the motor on his boat had sadly died mid way back to shore. No matter though, Mr.Heckles might have been old, but his body was strong from years of working on the sea. You had to respect the sea like she was a beautiful girl, a beautiful girl who could be deadly if you treated her poorly, but would give you benefits if you made her feel like a queen. He had instantly gotten out his oars and started rowing, and singing his favorite original song to pass the time as a good burning feeling set into his working arms. "I like to ROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOWWWWW! ROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOWWWWW! IN! MY BOAT!" His voice called from over the sea spray and the roaring tides. Heckles felt truly alive and at peace when on the water. He looked at the box on the back of his boat which was filled with plenty of fresh fish he had caught from his voyage today. He had caught plenty and more, having been at it since the crack of dawn. "I gotta get some fish into that young pink nitwit. A fish a day will make that boy into a mighty young man!" He spoke to himself, or maybe his beautiful maiden; the sea. "Young Altair eats his fish and look at him!" He called out indignantly. "That Damn Old Brother of mine needs his fishies too! Kukuku! And maybe a slap with a wet fish. Same with his boy, and my pink Grandson." He chuckled to himself before he burst back into song.
"I'm ROOOWWWWWWIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIINNNGGG!"
And so he continued like so, muttering and singing to himself and the ocean for the entire journey back. ~
